What a find this is! Easy to access straight off the A684, no single track roads to negotiate!
Large pitches each with its own water supply. Brilliant views across the countryside.
Lots of places to visit without travelling too far. Also two large caravan stores not far away for anything you might need
We use our own facilities in the caravan so didn’t use site facilities
Simon and co very hospitable hosts

Excellent small site. Very peaceful in a great location.
Easy walks to nearby Constable Burton, Akebar and Finghall (which all have a pub!).
Friendly welcome, decent EHU, spacious pitches with own tap.
Great views of the beautiful Yorkshire countryside with lots of sheep and lambs in the adjoining fields.

We have just returned fro a three night stay at this site. Very quiet and peaceful with virtually no light pollution if you are a stargazer.
We were met by Eve and her husband who very friendly and informative and met Simon on the last night who was also very chatty.
Good dog walks around, and not far from Leyburn with plenty of cafes, pubs, shops etc.
The shower and toilet were always clean and we found 20p for 2 mins shower was plenty, particularly on a cold frosty morning.
The field offers plenty of room for units, although sloping slightly but we were provided with plenty of blocks to level our unit.
All in all a lovely peaceful site and we look forward to returning in the New Year.

We have just returned having spent Easter at this superb CL, a nice quiet location close to the A1, Bedale & Leyburn. The field is slightly sloping but blocks are provided, there is also plenty of room for manoevering units.
The toilet & shower are good, we opted to put £1 in and share 10 minutes.
We met the farmer on Saturday night when he came round all the units making sure all was ok - very friendly as are his staff.
The dog walk is across the stream below the field and left towards Bedale or Right for Wensley, - watched deer early mornings & ducks on the stream plus loads of ducks on a pond towards Wensley
We are making plans to return as at £ 13 pn plus £1 per awning pn it is superb value. ENJOY !

Stayed here for 3 nights. Rachael kindly found us a pitch even though the CL was full.
After a night we moved to the CL field, she also did the same to accommodate our friends who wanted to join us.
Shower room is adequate with shower and toilet 20p metre for 2 mins.

This is a fabulous site. The views make you realise why Yorkshire claims to be Gods own county, it's certainly true here in Wensleydale.
Sitting watching over the valley on a bright day is far better than any TV can entertain. The Hard working owners Simon and Rachel are open, helpful and friendly.
The facilities are very good with a small shower and toilet at the near end of the field. Toilet paper and soap is provided by the hosts. The shower is on a meter at 20p for 2 mins. I found 40p was plenty.
This is a working farm so do expect some movement of farm machinery (not too near the CL area) but never intrusive. The sounds of the lambs and cows in the bottom fields is harmonious to your stay.
The owners are also CC members and fellow caravanners so they know what your needs are and provide well for you.
Over the valley (walkable at a stretch - owners can advise you) is the Queens head at Finghall, excellent venue with efficient and friendly staff and great food. The reverse view is over to your van and the farm.
There is also the Wyvil arms just down the road but we haven't tried it as we love the Queens. Nearby are both Leyburn and Bedale and the Wensleydale (sometimes) steam railway from Leyburn.
The railway also passes (at a distance) the CL though the trains are only every few hours and add to, rather than detract from, your enjoyment of the site.
Constable burton hall is also very close by. Middleham and Masham also a few minutes away, But I shouldn't be telling you any of this. If I want to have it all to myself.

Second visit to this site, very scenic, nice owners, not all over you, but available, toilet/shower shed is fine and is well looked after.
Entrance has a little sign, so would advise using Google to view the turning off the main road.
This is the A684, a busy road, but no road noise reaches the site.
We had a small awning, which raised the price to a fine £11. 50 :-)
A short drive to Bedale, Leyburn a bit further in the opposite direction.

Just spent 12 nights on this CL.
Great location between Bedale and Leyburn easy to get too.
Fantastic views from site. Working farm lovely seeing the new calves.
Owner very helpful and friendly
One toilet and shower. Located on site kept very clean.
Cost £11 per night 50p for small awning £1 for large.
Was extra cost to use the shower.
Personally I would rather the price was £12 and included everything.
Would recommend and intend to return
