Really nice camp, good location, great staff and very clean.
Only negative was the club shuts at 9pm - probably just as well though as the drinks are a bit pricey.

Great campsite in a brilliant location. Wonderful views and plenty of places to walk.
Travelled with my dog and the dog walks and facilities are really good.
On-site shops sells a wide range of provisions and gifts and the staff are really helpful.
Nice bar on site that provides excellent beer and food. No need to go outside of the camp if you don't want to as everything is here.
Facilities are top notch and the pitch I was on was fully serviced.
I will definitely be returning.

Thought I’d reviewed this site years ago but I haven’t.
Anyway this is a fantastic site.
Stayed here four times now. Great walks into Bridport and West bay.
Loads of things to do around.
Facilities great including pub.
What can I say, it’s just great

Fab site. Facilities lovely & very clean, staff friendly, Martin's Bar great but drinks a little pricey, and although we did not eat there the food looked good.
Very dog friendly with a large walking area. Close to beach, although it is downhill. Great views.
Well stocked shop selling lovely fresh pastries every morning for breakfast.
Very nice pub a 10 minute walk away. West bay a 20 minute walk away.
Well situated for many local towns and attractions.
Would definitely visit again.

Return visit, they have improved check in with pre payment and vehicle recognition so no need to go to reception. You choose a pitch dependant on what you have booked and the colour code.
We had opted for grass as we had a gravel pitch last year and although we got a good sea view pitch there are not many and for the extra cost we did not think it was worth the money. It was a good choice as the gravel pitches were all taken with sea views but we managed to get a nice view from our grass pitch.
Was very busy for mid week in June
We had lovely hot weather and had a nice walk down to the beach at Eype then along the pebble beach to West Bay.
I visited reception to ask about dog friendly taxi and was disappointed with the service I was left waiting why the receptionist and one of the wardens did something on the computer, I wouldn't mind waiting but did not even get a hello or an apology for keeping me waiting, was just given four phone numbers but she didn't know if they were dog friendly. When the taxi did not turn up the following day we went into the bar to ask for assistance luckily the bar maid was very helpful and gave us a number so we got sorted
The facilities are very clean and well maintained
We visited the bar but were told at 9. 30pm that it was last orders
We thought the price for a pitch in June was expensive although the location is good for us to visit friends in the area

Site was clean - the shower/toilet block (we only used the one near to pitch number 1) was also clean and modern with good space and separation between shower and drying area with lots of hooks and a bench to sit down to get dressed.
Attached to shower block was a launderette which was also nice and clean it was coinless, you download the app and pay via that, it also gives information such as if machines are free and if you are using one it shows how many minutes are left until it finishes.
I found using it easy but there were people coming in then walking out again when they realised it was not coin operated. BEWARE the minimum amount that can be added to the account you set up is £5 so you are best working out the exact amount you need as it will not allow a refund back to your card.
Well situated for visiting the surrounding area
However - when we booked online the choices were hard standing with gravel, all gravel or grass pitches. As the hard base with gravel pitches also had water and drainage that is what we selected.
These are in our opinion the worst pitches on site, they have
No view -
The gravel is not gravel it is large stones
It is difficult to pitch an awning due to the positioning of the hard base and some of the pitches have banking and/or wooden retainer to reinforce the banking which is at the back of the pitch and encroaches into the awning space.
Not all pitches are level and some are ridiculously sloped - we watched caravans, motorhomes and campervans struggle onto numerous pitches until they gave up.
We saw 1 caravan with a motormover who got on but only with the additional strength of 4 men pushing they then had to put the front legs and their jockey wheel onto 4 + 5 blocks respectively.
We went to the bar the first night we arrived and were told at 8. 45pm it was last orders as they close at 9pm, which is not what it states on the website.
There is a reception but the barrier has number plate recognition, you find your own pitch and you only go to them if you need anything there is no welcome information or park map, we have 2 small dogs and had to ask others on site where the dog walk was.
We did not visit the shop so cannot comment on that
We will not return and do not recommend the site we have stayed on far better.
