We absolutely loved this site with its quirky rustic feel and beautiful woodland walk with wild flowers,
The toilets and showers are kept very clean and it’s only a 15 minute ride to Southport.
We were so lucky with the weather
Thanks to this lovely site and all the staff that look after
It was a gem we will be back

This was a lovely, friendly site with helpful, friendly staff and friendly campers with everything we needed including free running chickens that provided daily fresh eggs plus a "shop" selling 2nd hand toys and books and the most wonderful home made jam.
Any time I'm travelling nearby I will enquire about availability

Second visit, wouldn't choose anywhere else locally, because I'm a tightwad and this is good value. It's a little grassy oasis.
Bit busier than my first visit August 2021 but still great.
Camping under the trees risks pigeon bombing target practice.

Such a friendly site.
The number of permanent camper vans on the way in looks odd but that is because they are a real community.
So helpful and friendly.
We really enjoyed our stay.

Site was really nice, very homely. Little play area for the children and they loved playing in the woods.
Toilet and shower facilities were very clean. Only downside is that the shower and toilet were in the same place so if somebody was having a shower you could wait a while to use the loo.
Not too far from local shop.

Had an amazing week due to amazing weather.
Campsite very basic only 1 female and 1 Male toilet and shower.
Surrounded by fields yet only very small area to walk the dogs.
Also must be near by kennels as dogs barking and howling all hours of the night.
Friendly staff.

Really good site for children. Small play area and woods and the camping field to play in. Fires were allowed a very relaxed feel to the place.
Christine organised a treasure hunt for the kids on the Saturday night which I thought was a really nice touch.
Only downside was the lack of loos and showers.

Very friendly. Easy hook ups.
Nice location not far from Southport about 6 miles.
If your a walker lots of nice places to visit.
I will be going back next year when the weather is better.
