What a real gem, wonderful place to stay
Great walks and to see wild otters and yes otters
A gem of a place and wonderful facilities on the edge of a working pier, so fascinating to watch boats come and go but don't worry it is only a small working pier.
Not a site for small children no play park etc.
But as in all things choice is down to the individuals

Fantastic location on southern Yell next to harbour and quiet Voe.
Lovely spacious and clean facilities in purpose built unit with upturned lifeboat as roof.
Great walking locally. Saw sea otters and minky Whales.

Stayed for 2 nights with a friend, having moved on from Unst a day early because of midges!
Pleasantly surprised at the facilities available, although the grass area for tents was a bit limited.
Site was full on the first night, but very quiet on the second night.

This is a really nice site. Interesting that the roof of the amenity building came from the SS Canberra.
Clean facilities for £15 per night. One shower abs two toilets plus washer and dryer.
Nice wee walk from the site around a little headland then up onto some steep cliffs which takes an hour or so.
Most pitches are sloping so you might want to take chocks

A wonderful place, a refuge in time of great need. I had no idea it was there.
I was able to relax and refresh myself. It is warm and sheltering.
I enjoyed my time there and will return again, I am sure.

Great facilities - lovely warm shower block and kitchen most appreciated (laundry / tumble drier great).
Lovely spot with views across to Mainland. Our pitch was slightly sloping. Limited space for tents (probably could accommodate one or two mountain tents).
