Ideal campsite in an ideal location just between Wadebridge and Rock. From booking to leaving, things couldn't have been better (well, maybe we could have paid over the phone instead of by cheque!). There was almost unlimited space and the owners didn't charge for an extra tent. We were amazed that firewood was delivered every day, free! They were quite happy for us to have a fire anywhere we wanted.
The facilities, even at the height of the August holiday season, were very clean and never a shortage of loo paper. We never had any waiting for a shower and always plenty of hot water. We enjoyed Classic FM in the loos and showers!
Our tent pitch was on the edge of one of 8 large fields. The owners were relaxed about our dog - there were plenty of dogs on site, but never any problems - and no dog fouling in evidence. We didn't use the swimming pool with our 7 month old, but she enjoyed some of the places to play, including the rabbits and guinea pigs on one of the fields.
The general feel of the site was very relaxed even with hundreds of people on the site, and it felt very quiet where we were. We particularly enjoyed not being pressured to leave by a specific time on the day of our departure.
Thanks for a great stay - we plan to return next year.

The site is owned by Sally and Stephan Mably and is partly a working farm and you are sure of a very warm welcome. Prices are very reasonable and are the same in August as they are in April. It is close to Wadebridge for shops and Rock and Damaer Bay for excellent dog friendly beaches and dunes with a ferry from Rock to Padstow. This is a big site covering five large fields, two for statics and three for touring. Bar for the statics, one field has EHU and water but the other two are free camping. Light poluttion is virtually non existant and the night skies are stunning and along with the bird life and farmers tending their arable fields it all adds to the feeling of being close to nature. Steve is happy for campfires and even delivers wood to short term campers and its a joy for families to toast marshmallows and cook sausages whilst enjoying a glass of wine with neighbours.
The North Coast of Cornwall is amazing and little bays abound for one to visit, A must is a visit to Tintagle and King Arthurs castle and Port Issac of Doc Martin fame. Newquay, St Ives and Landsend are further afield but are a great day out.
For those feeling energetic the Camel Cycling Trail is nearby with bikes to hire in Wadebridge and there are numeous walks along the coastal paths. St Enodoc golf course is a short drive away and surfing at Polzeth is a great attraction. Coastteering is a new activity and there is a office on site with expert instructors. If you decied to stay on site for the day there are washing machines available and the children can enjoy the swimming pool, kick a football or play cricket/rounders etc without disturbing anyone.
Numerous attractions are nearby such as Crealy Park, The Owl Sanctuary, numerous NT houses and gardens.
This site is excellent for using as a base for travelling further afield to the numerous attractions.

The pitches are very well kept and there is plenty of space given. We travelled as a group with tents and touring caravans and were given a large area at the edge of the site. This gave a 'private' feel to our group and meant the kids could kick a ball about with no risk to disturbing other campers. Our dogs are well behaved and don't wander so only needed to use the leads if we ventured away from our group. The space we were given meant we could throw the dog frisbees and balls for them too, which was a real plus.
The owners are friendly, however we only saw the lady of the site at booking in.
The shower and toilet facilities are clean but limited. It was an 8 minute walk from the pitch to the showers if you walked across the field, 10 minutes if you followed the roadway. In dry weather not a major issue but in rain and at night, not the best experience. Separate toilets 6 minutes walk but only 3 cubicles and on occasion a bit smelly at night due to number of people using them. However the owner and staff could be seen frequently cleaning them trying to keep on top of this.
The water temperature of the showers varied between boiling hot and freezing cold depending on how many others had showered before you. And with no way to regulate the temperature or flow this was a big problem. Only 6 showers in the female block between 100+ pitches meant queuing at times too. One working hairdryer which broke within a few days, fortunately I'd brought my own so used that in the tent.
No recycling facilities on site. No separate dog waste facilities on site. Nothing nearby, so need to drive or cycle if going out.
Lovely position and views; inexpensive; good position of hook ups and cold water taps for each pitch; but desperately needs more facilities and better showers.

Another lovely visit to dinham farm in July, this was one of the many visits we have had to dinham farm, we don't usually go In July but we're there for family who live in rock. Steve and Sally accommodated us on a lovely pitch in the top meadow, our favourite place. The showers were up to their usual standard, but as it was July and busy with young children etc, sometimes the hot water in showers was not as hot as it usually is. But the logs Steve came around with every evening for a campfire made up for that, to sit out til 10 o'clock at night around the fire with a glass of wine is heaven, well done Steve. We hope to spend many more happy times at dinham, so much to see at nearby town wadebridge, rock, and we even took the train to Truro, from Bodmin parkway. We will be back, all the way from Exeter.

It is two years since our last visit to Dinham and there is a distinct change in the feel of the site. The vast majority of campers now appear to be on seasonal pitches and as a result there was almost a 'ghost town' feeling with several units unoccupied even in peak season. We didn't feel that the atmosphere was quite as friendly as in previous visits - I guess seasonal campers stick together. Having said that, the owner remains a friendly, reasonable chap and our seasonal neighbours were very friendly. It remains an excellent centre for exploring a lovely part of North Cornwall - We had an excellent meal at the St Kew Inn and cycled into Padstow via Wadebridge and returned via the Rock ferry. Hopefully there will still be room for tourers on our next visit!

Back to Dinham for another year (Seasonal)
No increase in prices this year
The owners have more improvements planned for this year, some areas are being cleared ready to install Solar panels.
As usual the owner was always to be seen about the site.
Several vans are for sale at the moment and several new seasonals have arrived, still plenty of room though both on hard standing and in the outer fields.
Roll on the bank holidays and summer break.

Spent four nights at Dinham Farm. Found the Toilet and Shower block to be wonderful and clean at all times,
the owner could be seen at all times of the day cleaning and tidying up the Toilet and Shower block, most uprising was to hear Classic FM being played in the toilets, very civilised!
There are a block of toilets separate to the main block for people who have used the pool or just returned from the beach. The showers themselves are almost jet powered and are the best I've ever used on a Campsite.
The pool is not big and is mainly aimed at children and it's fine. There appears to be five fields for caravans and campers, but at no time did it feel crowded.
The site is about 2 miles from Wadebridge where there is a full range of shops including a Tesco store.
The site itself has no shop which is a minor problem but once you know this you can work around it.
The site is a couple of miles from Rock and Port Isacc and about six miles from Padstow. Found the owner to nice and aproachable.
Would use this again and would recommend it strongly!

We first visited this site over 20 years ago when it was run by the current owners parents.
We have been back to the site practically every year since then and for the last 8 years we have kept our van there for the entire season as we will be doing this year.
We have a hardstanding pitch with water, electric hook up(16amp), and drain. (No filling Aquarolls or emptying of waste tanks)- although not all pitches are like that
It is a quiet and relaxing site without the distractions of a clubhouse or entertainment facility so if these are what you are looking for this is not the site for you.
The main toilet block was built a few years ago and sometimes gets a bit busy in peak periods but is generally OK.
There is piped music (Classic FM) 24x7 and underfloor heating which is nice during cooler weather.
There is also a smaller toilet block and a separate shower block in Field 3
There are 9 fields on the site so even in peak season it is never overcrowded
There have been many improvements to the site over the last twenty years and Steven and Sally have more plans for the future
Well behaved dogs are welcome and this is one of the only sites in the area that will allow more than one dog per pitch. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times when out of the unit as there have been some incidents with dogs running loose in the past.
Dinham Farm is an ideal touring base you are not far from Bodmin Moor, Padstow, Rock, Daymer Bay, The Eden Project, St. Austell Market, Bude, Polzeath (for surfing), and lots more besides.

The campsite is in excellent condition. The very high standards that we experienced last year have been upheld.
Very spacious pitches with the grounds well maintained.
The magnificent washroom ( free hot water ) is a delight. It is modern and kept clean at all times.
Bags of room for children to play away from the tents and caravans.
Individual water points at many pitches. We had our caravan connected 24/7 with no problems.
Electric points at most pitches ( 16 amp ). We had our caravan connected all week and there was never a problem with supply - it is just like being at home.
Add to all this, energetic and friendly owners , I cannot envisage you having any issues with this site.
Note there is no bar, clubhouse or shop on site. This is a policy, not an oversight. The result is a peaceful and quiet site. You will not be disturbed by rowdy drinks parties into the night. For one thing Steve would be aware of it and would soon show his displeasure.
Take my word for it, you will go far to find a more attractive site.

What a camp-site, our favourite visited so far. Gorgeous views, great pitches, nice feel overall and the owners could not be more accommodating. A well deserved great review for some of the nicest and hard working people ever. Perfect location for Polzeath beach yet avoiding the crowds when you're back to base and perfect for visiting Wadebridge when you fancy Padstow for some Rick Stein fish & chips or if it takes your fancy to get the ferry from Rock which is even more convenient from this site. Great facilities, shame we did not use the beautiful pool but hey, we were chasing the surf. Well done on the wash room facilities too, lovely and clean at all times and great to listen to Classic FM whilst showering! Much loved holiday, will definitely be back! :-)
