Just returned from a great week at Dinham farm.

We have 3 small children who have thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed freedom there is on this site. The site is very spacious and the owners relaxed about where you pitch. Steve is seen at all hours cleaning and ensuring that everything is running fine. The main shower/toilet block is well maintained with a constant supply of hot water. Even the portable toilets are spotless and have Classic FM played 24hrs. There are only 4 male showers in the main block but there was rarely a queue.

The washing up area is clean with plenty hot water.

Our children didn't play in the play area but there were always lots of children around to play with.

On hot days the pool was ideal for cooling off and children friendly though a little cool on cloudier days.

The meadow is a little sloping and this makes some pitches better than others.

There are water taps at virtually every pitch and the electric hook up worked fine.

Wadebridge and Rock have a good supply of shops and the location is ideal for the Camel trail and close to Daymer Bay our favourite beach for children

Highly recommend this site. Will definitely be back

Having left a lovely, smaller site we were a little overwhelmed by the size of this site but very quickly learned to love it.

We had a lovely location at the edge of one of the camping fields which I think was much prettier than some of the hard standing pitches.

The new shower blocks are lovely, especially in quieter times (after 7pm) when you can really relax and appreciate classic FM which is piped through all the time. A welcome half hour of peace after entertaining a 22mth old all day! They're also very warm.

The site owner can be seen frequently around the site and is very, very helpful.

The location is great. I would really recommend this site for exploring this part of Cornwall.

We've just returned from one of our best camps, a week at Dinham Farm. There seems little point in repeating all the positive comments provided by other reviewers. All the reviews are justified - it is an excellent site in a beautiful part of Cornwall and you will not be disappointed. We look forward to returning ourselves.

We just returned from a 2week stay on this site.

It is a large site spread over several fields with a small number of unobtrusive static vans. The first two fields were fairly closely pitched with what appeared to be a large number of seasonal pitches on the perimeter (on stone) and then more in the middle of field pitched I think on grass.

Further fields then are set aside for casual pitching some with hook ups & water.

The facilities were located in a purpose built block with additional showers, toilets etc located in temporary buildings. Both were kept very clean and water for showering was always hot. In 2 weeks there was only a ever a short queue for showers on the first 2 days.

The electric hook ups all seemed new and we had no issues with tripping, dim lights etc.

The site has no shop, not a great problem but it would be nice to be able to get the odd bits that we often need, that said rock or wadebridge are both only a few miles away.

There is no procedure for booking or allocating pitches, the owner was quite happy to walk the site showing available spots before allowing us to select our own spot.

Just returned from a week at this very roomy site, the showers and toilets were very clean considering how many people were on this site - we had a choice of pitch which the owner came out with us to show us - very helpful.
The only trouble was the rain made the fields very churned up which turned them into huge mud baths. Maybe the owner will make more roads eventually so people will drive on these.
The area is great for Polzeath beach, Rock and Port Isaac. Wadebridge is just 3 miles away with lots of shops. Would go back as no strict rules on this spacious site.

Very pleased, could not complain. Great price, very very clean and lovely classic fm music playing in every toilet and shower block. Speaking as a camper that likes to stay clean, the facilities were exceptional and had hair dryers and mirrors. Never had to queue for a shower or toilet.
Heated pool and pool table also great facilities for the kids. Friendly relaxed owner. Away from busy roads but close to everything including padstow, port isaac and other beaches. Found a lovely cream tea garden nearby. Water taps for every pitch and electric hook ups if needed.
Lots of room and no restrictive allotments. Nicely developed but also maintains a 'back to basics' feel and not too 'holiday park'.

This is a fantastic campsite, one of the best I have stayed on. The facilities were faultless and were always clean and tidy. Plenty of space to pitch up on and loads of room for everyone. There is about 5 huges fields to choose from and we had loads of space even in the main two weeks of the summer holidays. The dogs loved it as they could freely roam around without disturbing anyone. You can even have fires so long as they are done properly.

When we arrived the owner came out and showed us where everything was. Which was a nice and warm welcoming.

The outdoor pool was great too and was at a nice temperature and well looked after.

My only complaint was everyone was driving over the grass and the weather was not the best and it became a mud bath and was hard to drive through. But thats the typical english summer weather for you. Poor owners fields looked wreck by the end of our stay.

Definately choose this campsite if you want to be near daymer bay, padstow, wadebridge. Great area for holidays. And also vist mawgan porth for a day on the beach.

If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere, with a friendly and dilligent owner, no 'club' with bar, beautiful surroundings, and a limited set of campsite rules, then this is the site for you! The site is very well situated for Padstow and its nearby beaches and also Polzeath/Rock/Port Isaac. We will definitely be returning!

Stayed at this site in 2007 and had a great time. The friendly owners have spent a lot of time and effort improving the site with new facilities in the additional fields, so even in the height of summer there was never a queue for a shower or toilet.

There are about 5 large fields to chose from and there was plenty of space. There are also lots of electric hook ups too.

The small pool was great fun and children are safe to cycle around and play. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.

I have been going to this campsite for many years now, at first with my parents and boyfriend, then with my parents and husband and now with my husband and son and sometimes still parents! I have watched the very hardworking Steve create a wonderful place. I only hope that he manages to retain the tranquil 'small park' feel to it even though it gets bigger as more land is developed. This year we are going with two different groups of friends who are yet to sample the wonders of classic fm in the toilets! No doubt parents (and friends of) will come and go(we have them to thank for finding this place!) There is something to say about a campsite with spotless facilities and it is what keeps us coming back year after year. Last year the new toilet block was being built in the third field and I can't wait to see it. I have no doubt that along with eveything else it will be top class.
