 We visited this site whilst staying over 40 miles away with a view to using it for a New Year stay as it is listed as being open all year.
On arrival we noticed that there was a 'no dogs allowed' sign outside the pub and so this site, together with the pub is a 'no go' for us.
From what we did see the pub is well maintained and clean, the area is welcoming although some noise is to be expected as the site is located next to a mainline railway.
It seems the pub does put on live entertainment from time to time which is a positive.
Please note that the ratings we give for Location, Facilities, Customer Service, Value for Money, Child Friendliness and Overall Rating are arbitary values given that we didn't actually stay here.
