Awesome place can’t believe I’ve not been here before, excellent facilities open fires.
The owners or managers are really friendly and helpful.
Definitely going there again soon.
Kids loved the horses and pony’s too.

We were a little unsure about whether to camp during the current COVID-19 pandemic but our fears were put to rest once we arrived on site. The pitches were clearly marked out with generous spacing between them and with the reduced capacity we had plenty of room without the worry of maintaining social distancing.
The kids loved the quiet site and made friends with the horses in the paddock.
The facilities were nice and clean which again helped ease our worries.
We visited during crane fly season (aka: Daddy long legs) so there were thousands about but we would prefer them to wasps which we had at our last site.
The biggest question that most people who read reviews are looking for is:
Would we stop there again? The answer, Yes we definitley will be.

The site was exceptionally well maintained with excellent ablution facilities. The welcome received was both efficient and friendly.
With a pub just down the lane, unfortunately can’t comment on the pub as we did not go there.

Great site - the children loved seeing the horses being ridden and trained, they also enjoyed being able to feed them!
Clean facilities, helpful staff who brought round the fire we'd hired.
The pub just opposite the entrance to the site was fab - delicious food and both child and dog friendly!
There is a shop just a short drive away in case you need anything.

Lovely location, friendly host & great neighbours.
Facilities / amenities were clean and adequate.
Kids (11, 16 and 17 year old) had a good time so we'll definitely use the spot again.

We were 2 families staying together with a mixture of grown up kids and younger ones. We have been 3 times. Carl and Fiona makes you feel so very welcomed.
The facilities are checked and cleaned regularly. The location is also fantastic as there are several walks to do and the pub the White Horse it is just opposite the campsite!
The town of Kimbolton it is also near by with a Budgens and a pharmacy.
Overall for us 10/10 and we will be coming back again!

As a group of three friends, we booked a tent pitch at Summerfields Camp Site at very late notice (the day before our trip).
When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Carl who showed us the fantastic site facilities and recommended several beautiful walks.
We stayed for 2 nights and would have gladly stayed longer had we not needed to get home !
We highly recommend this camp site as one of the best we have ever stayed at. :)
Thanks so much! See you again!

Lovely and sunny, no big trees to spoil the sun set. Carl let us on the wesr field extension on request as we had been there previously and liked to eat under the small tree.
Good facilities and pub over road. Kids playground down the road. Friendly helpful.
Fire pit and wood available, breakfast option available indoors if desired. Horse training to watch.

We've stayed at this site a couple of times and love the location. Large open field which permits camp fires in raised fire pits (hired on site).
Spotlessly clean well kept facilities and only a short drive into the local village for basic provisions.
The owner also cooks a great bacon sarnie on a Sunday morning (extra cost) in the on site barn which is a welcome treat to not have to organise breakfast when breaking camp!
There is no play area as such for children but plenty of space in the camping field for games to be played.
A great little site, which we will no doubt use again in the future.
