First time visitors to the this site and not quite sure what to expect, website read well and I have to say was spot on, this site is lovely, quiet, well kept and very relaxed, the owners Stuart and Katherine made us feel very welcome, nothing was to much trouble. Thanks for the bike pump :-)
Lovely showers and toilets, great underfloor heating, you try not wanting to stay in there when it is cold outside, lovely touch of the honesty shop attached with great food and fire pits.
Would I return absolutely yes and soon, if you have not been then you must.

We booked for a couple of nights in September but stayed all week as it was so lovely.
There were a few caravans and tents when we arrived but only us and a small tent for the rest of the stay.
Lovely quite site with excellent facilities. Will definitely go back.

A wonderful site. The owner was very friendly, the shower and toilet block (2 showers, 2 toilets and a washroom) were modern and clean.
There was a small shop with an honesty box where you could get snacks, milk etc and we ordered a lovely breakfast box which had everything we needed for a big English breakfast the next day.
We will definitely go back if visiting the Suffolk/Norfolk area.

Fantastic, quiet relaxing site. Good 'Eco' feel to the place, lovely walks all around the site and a GOOD pub within a short walk with fine ales and good food.
Site shop works on an 'honesty box' system and has good supplies of local produce.
I'm coming back some time!

Another relaxing stay at this superb little campsite (only 15 well spread out pitches). We love it because it's peaceful, friendly and very well organised and run. Each year we've visited, the owners have continued to improve the sustainable and eco-friendly aspects of the site, which we really appreciate.
There's a nice pub 10 minutes walk away, where you can get tasty reasonably priced meals, real local ale and cider and a friendly welcome.
Overall we would thoroughly recommend this campsite.

Green Haven is a small, well maintained, eco friendly site which makes everyone very welcome.
The pitches are generous and the toilet block with two toilets, two showers, wash basin and washing up basin are modern and kept very clean. 50p for showers - 7 minutes which is ample for more than one person. Water is hot and heated from solar panels.
There is use of a fridge/freezer for campers to use which is a nice touch.
As cars are not allowed on the main site area, this is safe for children and campers.
The surrounding area has many good footpaths and a friendly pub is just a 10 minute walk away which provides good food.
Other attractions include Dunwich and Minesmere and even Norwich is just a 40 min drive away.
The owners make everyone welcome and are available on site to help.
Highly recommended.

A lovely, quiet campsite, ideally located to explore a host of attractions in both Suffolk and Norfolk within an hour's drive, and with the nearest town a handy 10 minutes away. The village has a pub but no shop. You have to be prepared to drive a little way to get anywhere.
The toilet/ shower block is excellent and always very clean. The reception has lots of information about places to visit with a fridge/ freezer available to use which proved really handy. Also power points to charge up your phones if you don't have hook up.
The little on site shop was lovely - selling a variety of very local produce (we loved the courgettes and eggs) with opportunity to place an order.
The field was relatively small but how the owners have laid out the pitches made it feel more spacious and never cramped. In spite of it being at the start of the summer holidays, it was never rammed, with about a dozen at the max during out 8 nights there, and down to just four of us one night. Our two daughters, aged 10 and 7, found space to fly a kite and kick a ball.
As it is a new site the trees are still small but given a couple of years it will provide some much needed shade on hotter days. Having cars away from pitches makes the place more peaceful. The evening sunset was beautiful, and for us in July lasted until about 9pm.
Green Haven's green credentials are to be applauded, with energy-saving lights in the block, rainwater to flush the loos, interesting facts and reminders about wastage and a compost bin.
Our family had a brilliant time at Green Haven and felt very welcomed by Stuart and Katharine who have two young children too. We chatted to them a number of times about places to visit and where to get new camping gas, etc, and they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the site and look forward to returning.

Just got home from a beautiful 5 day trip staying at green haven.
Pitched up easily at our electric hook up pitch. Peaceful and relaxing.
Pretty surroundings with a fenced off field opposite with lovely horses trotting around.
The toilet shower block and washing up area was clean simple and pretty along a pathway next to a charming apple orchard. Fire pits and BBQ available to hire. The site is very Eco which impressed us massively. From using collected rain water to solar power and recycling. A smashing pub just up the lane where we had a lovely evening meal on our last night.
Stuart and his family have a beautiful little campsite and are friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and places to go. Iv come home with lifestyle envy. such a lovely place. We will be back in near future for sure to explore some more of this lovely area. Thankyou for a fabulous stay.
P. S haven't rated for child friendly as we didn't have children with us. However the dog loved it. So 10/10 for dog friendly.

Had a one day and night stay here last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were camping with my son and daughter in law who were in their camper van. The weather was perfect and so was the site. Very well thought out by intuitive owners who know what people look for when camping. Very natural environment with lots of grass, some left longer to encourage bees, butterflies etc. What a lovely idea. Wet rooms and toilets always clean and using solar power and harvested rain water and a room where you could buy fresh eggs, bacon, yogurts and much more, all using an honesty box system. Such a relaxed, friendly feel to everything, can't wait to visit again. You've got it spot on, well done!

We were recommended to this site and it was well worth it. The site is well situated in lovely Suffolk countryside. The people who run it are lovely. The toilet block was of a good quality with underfloor heating. Very welcome on a cold morning. We had some great doggy walks from the site. And the local pub invites dogs too. All in all a lovely small site that we will definitely be visiting again.
