We stayed here for four nights in our campervan. This site is on the edge of a small village and is idyllically quiet and peaceful. The facilities are exceptional in terms of quality and cleanliness. They are unisex but that didn't bother us. The owners live in the house next door and are very friendly and you can tell that they have invested a lot of time and effort into setting the site up. They run a small provisions facility on site and you can order eggs, milk and bread etc. The village of Rumburgh has a lovely pub about 15-20 minute walk away. Pub type menu but home cooked and tasty. Welcoming feel and we felt very at home! Lovely walks around unspoilt working farming countryside. Would definitely recommend this for those wanting a quiet get away in tranquil Suffolk countryside. This goes on the list of sites we want to return to for sure!

This is a lovely site with really friendly helpful owners. The facilities are excellent. Lots of hot water in the shower and clean toilets. 50p for 7 minutes was plenty of time for an adult and child to shower.
The reception area has local produce on sale and a box with laminated activities for the kids. Our daughter loved the word searches and nature hunts and she really enjoyed making a fairy tea party and magic wish stick.
There was also plenty or room for the kids to play.
We loved the eco feel and effort Katherine and Stuart have made to encourage recycling and using nature to power the site without compromising on the home comforts.
Great value and we will be back.

I like other person would like to tell some little fibes about this site so it doesn't get to over crowded and allways booked, but that would not be fair to the oweners.
So I will tell the real truth.
This site is a real little gem although only there second year they have done so well the showers are 50p coin operated and well worth the price loads of room with hot water plenty pressure hanging hooks and a chair spot on. Toilets always spotless and for those that bother soft toilet roll.
Waste is segregated, drinking water close by, ehu or not.
Loads of places to walk or cycle and there is a great pub just 10 minutes walk away.
Finally the owners well I was well impressed with them both nothing to much trouble and will stand and have a chat and give you the feel they didn't feel that they had to and the feeling was very much appreciated and you didn't feel like a number cant wai to go back well done.

We spent ten days at Green Haven Campsite in Rumburgh after searching for a small campsite which allowed dogs as well. We were aware of the fact that they only opened last year but the photos and comments on the website encouraged us to check it out and we were not dissappointed! Stuart and Katherine gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home straight away. The shower blocks and washing facilities were superb: modern, clean, airy and making use of greener ways to heat and flush water.
The campsite itself is spacious and very peaceful. It's lovely to see the horses in the meadow and hear birds tweeting in the early morning. Very pleasant indeed!
We came over to visit family but went out on day trips as well. The back roads of Suffolk proved to be hiding little gems. We felt the area wasn't really geared towards tourists, however there were lots of farmers markets, historical towns and lovely countryside to explore.
Be aware that on the campsite there are no facilities for you ger children, so bring or make your own entertainment. Our kids are nine and seven and relied on toys and games they brought. Also, there is no internet, so bring lots of books! I loved the quiet surroundings and didn't miss internet at all. It was a welcome reprieve.
The overall experience was very good and we will go back again!

We stayed at this site for a weekend with friends, cars are not allowed 'on site' and this worried me as I do not travel light but trolleys are provided which we didn't need as everyone carried something and the car was just a stones throw away. No cars made for a much pleasanter environment, each pitch was thoughtfully designed with boarders of long grass, willow, wild flowers and lavender with bark chip paths to lead you around the site and to facilities.
Facilities were fantastic, I don't like the idea of timed showers, I worry that it will cut out before I've rinsed off the shampoo but there was more than enough time, none of us used the whole allocated time. Showers were hot, free & modern. There were 2 toilets, 2 showers & one wash cubicle as it's a small site we never waited long to use the facilities. The dish washing area was covered, well lit, plenty of hot water, washing up liquid and lots of space for pots & pans.
Owners cleaned everything themselves, it was always immaculate. They have made a campsite where they would stay themselves. The owners owners gave a very warm welcome and were helpful and friendly at all times, we felt like we were guests in their home.
And finally the pub down the road is a must, good food, live music, good atmosphere!
We will definitely be visiting this site again.

We booked at relatively short notice and this was one of few that had 2 pitches for the Bank Holiday weekend. I doubt that we'd get in next year though, it is such a lovely little campsite that it will be fully booked as it's only been open for a matter of months.
The owner, is really friendly, and the place has bags of charm.
We will go back and I would recommend to anyone.

Almost reluctant to tell you all about this little diamond of a site as want to keep it as our secret!
Outstanding facilities kept immaculately by the owners. More hotel bathroom than campsite block.
We took our 5m Bell Tent and had a beautiful pitch edged with lavender and shrubs.
Very helpful friendly owners looking forward to our next visit.

Fantastic small, peaceful and friendly campsite. Wild flowers and long grasses separate the pitches. We loved it! All exactly as described; beautiful new, clean and well thought out toilet and shower facilities. Lovely powerful and warm showers. We also appreciated the private washing facility. Good outside wash-up area. We applaud the efforts to be eco-friendly; recycling, composting, solar panels and rain water usage. They also sell their own free-range eggs and apple juice. We ate at The Rumburgh Buck, which is only a 10 minute walk down the quiet road. We had a very tasty meal and enjoyed the locally brewed beer and cider. We'll definitely be back!

My wife and I have spent a very enjoyable week at this excellent site. It is so quiet, clean and tidy, well situated too. The toilet/washrooms will become a touring legend - they are truly 5 star. Katherine and her family are a delight and could not be more helpful. The pub in the village is as an English village pub should be - good beer, good food and luckily, great music, (catch band 'Bodgers Mate' at any opportunity).
Not, at first glance the best situated but the area is a real find, with friendly community feel and within easy access to a variety of super days out. (Southwold, Minsmere, Walberswick and the highly recommended (and FREE) Flixton Air Museum, where you could spend a day easily. ) Oh, and buy some apple juice - it's marvellous.

My partner and I had a lovely night's stay here. One of the few places around this area where you can bring your own tent and very reasonably priced, especially after the discount we received for using sustainable transport. It is a small, cosy site (there was only us and two other groups when we were there) with brand new showers and toilet facilities. Pub around the corner was good for dinner. The family made us very welcome and answered all questions we had.
