Nice little campsite
Very clean and organised with friendly owners
Ideal for short breaks
Bathroom quite small and could be a slight problem if the site was fully booked, but very clean.
Near to cycle/walking track which takes you to York centre plus nearby is the park and ride bus service to the city centre
Overall we had a great time

Lovely clean site with easy access to York, we used the park and ride which is a short drive away.
The pub is an easy walk along the cycle path I would recommend the carvery.
It would be nice if the toilet block was a little larger, with more showers and toilets. I am a small person and thought the shower a bit small

What a fantastic site this is. We met up with friends for a well needed reunion and came to Grantchester on recommendation.
We were not disappointed, the site is lovely and well kept.
The toilet/shower facilities are very good and always clean.
The pitches are hard standing and grass and serviced with electric hook up.
York is a bus ride, walk or cycle ride away.
The staff are friendly and take time to come over for a chat.

We found the site to be nicely kept, very tidy.
The location was Ideal for us, enabling us to walk into York along the river path, walk to the pub for a drink and enjoy a pleasant cycle out to Beningborough Hall and Easingwold.
We only used the loos on site but the block looked nice and clean.

Lovely little quiet campsite just outside York. Owner Lisa is a very pleasant host, pitch was a good size, nice and level with close by electrical hook up.
Unisex toilet block is kept clean and tidy with two shower cubicles
Buses to York are at the top of the road, but there are no evening buses at the weekend (we got the last bus into York at 6:50pm).
You can walk alongside the river into York, but it is approximately 4 miles to the city centre
The local pub is currently closed, the next nearest is about a one mile walk down the A19 towards York.
Good for cycling on the quite country roads and plentiful cycle paths/routes.
Overall a very enjoyable stay

Very pleasant site, and kept very tidy. The toilet block, although shared did not cause a problem and was kept clean.
We were fortunate that the weather was excellent during our stay, which made it even more enjoyable.
Although the site is quite close to the A19 into York, you don’t really notice the traffic noise. About 500m down the lane is a path that takes you into York. It is a 4 mile walk, but totally traffic free, and some of it along side the River Ouse.
The site owner, Lisa, was very welcoming and helpful.
A very relaxing stay.
