Love how peaceful it is staying there, tent this time.
I think when it's at the height of the season more tents shall go up and it may not be as peaceful.
Andrew, Paula & Daniel made us feel at home, love the laid backness of the staff.
A wash up area for campers is needed to clean dishes which I'm sure will get put in but until then the staff stuck them in the dish washer 🙌
If your looking for a quiet campsite to put your head down for a night whilst doing West Highland way then Ardoch campsite is the place for you and the cost of the tent which can sleep 4 at least is very reasonably priced, it's only when you pay for breakfast then the price almost doubles. There is no bar so you need to take your own refreshments but a cafe should be up and running soon.
Not much to do apart from walking so kids may get bored but you can take your pets, any kind. A walk into the small village you'll find a local shop, cafe and hotel.

I loved it here. Dream place. Very happy with my experience. Was welcomed kindly and left alone to enjoy my own company.
I found the place very therapeutic. Great for reflecting, healing and meditation.
Amazing views and great tour. Thank you.

I stayed here while travelling around the Highlands. It’s a magical place. Friendly staff. Lovely owner.
A home from home experience. I enjoyed. The bell tents are of good size. The Shepard’s hut looks magical.
The views are beautiful with lots of hiking routes and history. The standing stones are close by.

Situated in a very scenic location. The staff were very helpful. It’s a site with ‘character’ which may not suit everyone, but we were left to our own devices which was fine.
We were allocated a site we were very happy with - it was quite a walk from the toilets so we put up our toilet tent.
Showers and toilets were good.
Some negatives:
The bins were overflowing with rubbish and I couldn’t see anywhere to put recycling.
There wasn’t any signage for the washing up area… couldn’t find it but I think there must have been one.
We felt £40 a night was far too expensive- despite the free breakfast.

Very friendly staff but no proper facilities for motorhome and nowhere to dispose of rubbish or recycling.
There was no chemical or grey water disposal (we were told to dump at the end of the road?!)
Not ideal for us as last night to clear before returning the motorhome.
No restaurant available and all pubs in area closed.

Found this place hard to love. To give context, this was a one-night stopover, having driven up from London, on the way to the islands, so I appreciated being able to check in at nearly 8pm in a downpour.
However, there was a large party going on at the house, which was really quite loud and wasn’t able to get much sleep until 2am. The showers were tiny and dirty. The site was pretty expensive at £40 for two.
In different circumstances, I might well have given this site a higher rating - it’s a lovely settings, breakfast was included & didn’t have chance to but, overall, it’s difficult to recommend.

My friend and I stayed at Ardoch House campsite for one night and absolutely loved it.
The owner was so welcoming and we loved the continental breakfast in the morning.
It was a very friendly site with lovely views of the nearby valley. Facilities were clean and tidy.
The dinner was delicious (I had Scottish cottage pie!).
Thank you, Andrew, for a great visit.

A very quirky boutique campsite. We loved it! Dogs off the leash!
We loved it even more. Very attentive owner and staff.
Lots of lovely walks and lochs to swim in.
Booked again for September
