Lovely kept site in Lovely surroundings, shame the weather was awful so we could have stayed longer.
Our pitch had our name so it was easy to find and the owner Harry popped round once all set up to introduce himself and take payment, he gave us some advice on walks from the site and local shops.
There's electric points for all pitches and a hose to connect to the water supply (great idea) the other campers on site were very helpful and friendly.
They have an honesty box at the entrance where you can buy local honey.
We will definitely be back next year through the summer to explore the beautiful countryside around this site.
The toilets were not in use due to covid restrictions but that didn't bother us as we used our own facilities in the caravan.

This is a wonderful site that we have visited twice this year. It is a clean quiet site, not too large but still with spacious pitches that are well tended.
Harry, the owner shut the shower block at the outset of Covid and We are looking forward to going back when they are open.
There's a handy shop at the garage about 1 mile away with everything you might need.
Water and ehu are at most pitches some with hard stand some grass.
Visited the Linhope Spout (Harry lent us a map), Warkworth, Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh castles, all within easy reach, along with bird watching and swimming beaches.
Overall lovely place.

First class, Harry and his wife keep the place spotless. A quiet location that is perfect for both the coast and the national park that is just literally across the road.
No facilities available due to covid, but no complaints. Everything is kept to clean and tidy.
The site is a credit to the both who work so hard to keep it that way.
We certainly will be back.
Loved it.

This site is a real find. So quiet and peaceful.
The owner is very easy going and friendly and keeps the site in excellent condition.
Plenty of space between pitches.
We would recommend this site of you want a peaceful get away.

Very clean and quiet site. Friendly owners.
Disappointed that there were no facilities on site.
Easy reach of Alnwick and surrounding area. We also visited the Ingram Valley nearby.

Fantastic site, beautiful manicured, very clean, good level pitches, hard standing and grass, most with hook up and water,
Plenty of walking nearby, Alnwick and Rothbury close and only 20 miles to the coast,
Great TV reception also WiFi, very friendly and helpful owner,
Definitely going back

Beautifully maintained quiet site with easy access to great walks, cycle rides and historic places.
There is a mixture of hardstanding and grass pitches in separate camping areas. Pitches are level, a generous size and are well spaced out.
All the hardstandings have own water tap, but disposal of grey water is in a field away from the camping area. Works ok! Steel pegs are needed for awnings on the hardstandings.
There is a toilet, but it was out of use for Covid reasons. TV and Mobile reception excellent and free (mostltly reliable) WIFI. There is no children's play area so probably not ideal for younger children.
The owner, Mr Vickers, was very friendly and called around to our pitch most days for a chat and to check we were ok. At the end of our stay I accidentally over-paid (senior moment!) but Mr Vickers came back shortly after to repay the excess. Thank you!
Despite cold weather we got out on numerous walks, the nearest one being along the Breamish Valley. Also recommended is a great 8-mile circular walk starting in Wooler along St Cuthberts Way, taking in the Happy Valley and Carey Burn.
We also visited Etal/Ford, Bamburgh and Chillingham (both castles closed). Altogether, there is more than enough for a couple of weeks stay around here.

We would highly recommend this campsite.
It is immaculately kept, very quiet and is in such a scenic area of Northumberland.
This was our second visit and I’m sure it won’t be our last.
