This is a great spot, a mile from Thornton Dale where there are a couple of good pubs serving excellent food.
It's a short but hilly 3 miles pedal to Dalby forest.
The site is pretty level on perfectly cut grass generous pitches made "private" by the uncut grass between the pitches.
I would definitely recommend this place, the hosts are friendly and helpful.
There is limited facilities - just one toilet (Immaculate when I visited), I use my own facilities so didn't miss lack of showers

Loved everything about the site. It is quiet and relaxing.
There is a lovely stream that runs through it lovely for a paddle.
Toilet is kept clean at all times.
Will definitely be coming back.
The couple that runs the site are very friendly and welcoming.
A nice walk into the village for a meal and drinks.

Very pretty and relaxed site.
Facilities are basic but clean and well kept and the site doesn't pretend anything otherwise.
As others have said it's a lovely touch leaving the meadow grass long between the pitches.
Looking forward to returning next year.
Ps seeing the hares was a treat too

Nice flat camping site with a stream running next to it.
Toilet was basic but clean and well kept.
Hosts were very friendly and greeted us well.
A short drive into Thornton le dale and a walking path nearby.
Very quiet site and dark skies a plenty!

What a truly wonderful place. Our pitch was right by a beck, which we could (and did) plodge around in. Was also very useful for keeping the drinks cold too.
The pitches are spacious and well maintained. The longer grass around the pitches gives a nice, peaceful, secluded feel.
No showers yet but a nice, functional toilet block with washing up sink around the back.
Thank you to Sue and Roger for a great stay.
Looking forward to coming back

Absolute gem of a site! The pitch we had was really big with its own picnic table by the stream!
Leaving the grass long between pitches was a great way to add privacy and also meant lots more wildlife could be seen and enjoyed.
Great location just down the road from Thornton le Dale.
The hosts were very friendly on arrival and made sure we were happy with the pitch.
One toilet on site that was kept clean and water tap near by.
We will certainly visit again!

Just come back from a two night stay. We had a lovely pitch in the corner next to the stream, fantastic pitch, was huge and well cut !
Lovely walk into Thornton le dale along a footpath and hardly any road.
No showers but for a couple of nights you can manage and the couple running it were lovely and very helpful and we can’t wait to visit again soon.
(Both dogs loved it too )
Can I just add, shower and toilet are being built and work is in progress.
