 Really enjoyed ourselves at this site. Plenty of space for each pitch.
Very relaxing site with a lovely walk to the beautiful village of Thornton-le-Dale.

Really liked the camp site, the pitches were spacious, and toilet was clean. Bench/table available to use was also a nice touch.
Hosts were friendly and helpful and really peaceful setting with stream running round the perimeter.
Close to Thornton le dale, which lovely. If the footpath to Thornton was clearer, would be great as lovely walk but not that obvious.
Would definitely return as was pleasure to stay there.

A perfect peaceful escape with clean and simple facilities.
Roger and Su couldn’t be better hosts and I am already planning my return.
If you are looking for somewhere quiet and just out of the hustle and bustle of Thornton Le Dale - I can’t recommend this oasis of calm enough.

We have just got back from a lovely few days in our campervan.
Roger and Sue are friendly helpful welcoming.
He site was clean well maintained.
All round nice place to stay

This is the third time my partner and I have camped at Chester Villa Campsite and it never fails to disappoint.
We love the wild camping pitch and Sue and Roger are the most warm and kindhearted people you could ever meet. Nothing is too much trouble and they even helped when our car had a flat battery.
Can not complement enough and great value for money. It’s a great location and within walking distance of the town.
Can not wait to go again.

Very spacious, flat site, clean facilities, friendly hosts.
Convienient for Dalby Forest cycling and a walk along the stream into Thornton le Dale.
Would recommend.

What a gem of a site! Stayed two nights but returning (hopefully) Covid updates pending for another long weekend at the end of October.
Really great couple run this new site - it is a work in progress but for this area it was reasonable.
We were made very welcome and would recommend.

We have just returned from a brilliant stay here. We originally booked for 4 nights but stayed for 10. The site is a lovely unspoilt haven in the countryside less than a mile from Thornton-Le-Dale. The village is lovely and the site proved to be the perfect base for exploring this part of Yorkshire.
Roger and Sue are so friendly and could not have been more helpful. The waste disposal facilities are kept immaculate. The pitches are all grass which is kept really well cut.
The site looks over open fields and we have never seen so many butterflies and different birds. This site is perfect for those looking for peace and quiet and a back to basics style of holidaying.
We will definitely be booking again.

Absolutely great camp site. Roger and Sue were so friendly, helpful and welcoming.
Went the extra mile to help me as a lone 1st time female camper.
Site is immaculate and well kept and the location is excellent.
