Excellent site. Clean toilets and showers.
Close to Wrexham and Llangollen. Very welcoming. Sat nav stops short of the site, wants you to turn left, site is a further 200 metres on the right.
Would stay again. Postcode is in England

This is a nice site on the whole. Access is excellent, the wardens are so nice, welcoming and very helpful, and need a mention as they truly do make this site. Lots of things to do in the surrounding area and a pub across the road. There is a Sainsbury’s just up the road inside the garden centre and an M&S local on the island.
The facilities are brand new, so clean, but are small, the showers don’t have seats, stools or even a shelf, so you have to do the balance on one leg trick to put your knickers on!
The pitches are a little close to each other, which is a shame 4 pitches less and the site would have a different feel, I hate the guide ropes from next doors awning almost on my pitch. The car pulled across the front of the van is another bug bear given the cost is £76. 00 for two nights.
The Elsan point is inside the bin store, it felt a bit awkward doing the walk of shame with last nights empties to stand by someone emptying their toilet in full view.
The road noise is noticeable, you do get used to it and it didn’t stop us sleeping, but tea time on Friday night it was exceptionally noisy, not the sites fault but I could see it being an issue with some folk.
We took our canopy which we use 10 pegs to secure the ground is so hard, 6 of them were completely bent when we took them out, the site must be stone on top of solid concrete.
There is a large swimming pool being built, truly making this a family site as children will be very happy with that.
The wardens are not on site overnight, I guess that might change when all the lodges are built and the pool is open.
It just feels the sites has not been properly thought through, apart from maximising the number of pitches.
We were undecided as to whether we would return, but now back home taking everything in to account we probably won’t. I hope they sort some of the issues, I see a previous review in 2021 mentioned issues in the showers and they are still there 10 months later.

Excellent site. Well laid out.
Modern facilities with hot water through the day.
Would stay again.
Ideal for canal walking and stroll into Chirk.
The pub opposite is dog friendly and despite some staffing issues we had lovely meal.

This is a newly developed site just off the A5 At Chirk on the Welsh border.
The facilities are excellent and we'll cleaned.
The staff are friendly and happy to give local information to enhance your visit to the wonderful town and surroundings complete with castle and canal aqueduct. All well worth a visit.
A minor niggle would be the traffic noise from the very close A5 major road but well worth enduring.

Easy access to the site. Location good for walks and places to visit and eat.
The park manager is one of the best we have ever come across in years of caravanning.
Spotlessly clean and tidy.
The only negative is the road noise, particularly at night. The one way road system around the site is compacted shale and not suitable for children to ride scooters, bikes on and no playground.

What can l say. Excellent.
From start of booking too leaving.
So helpful in all my enquiries.
Easy too find site. Just across road from a pub and canal.
We were shown to our pitch and explained all about the site etc.
Reasonable pitch prices etc and free WiFi.
Large pitch area and plenty of space.
It is a new campsite and you can clearly see its a work in progress. New huts and chalets.
Dog welcome and dog poop bin available.
Short walk and get too another pub and into chirk.
We're we saw lots of new shops and pubs and eateries.
Short walk too Dobbies garden centre too.
Recommended too book at the pub across road. As it's a busy place. Great staff and patio area too.
Will return again soon.

Had a fantastic Halloween weekend here, they had a 'best dressed caravan' contest and gave every pitch a pumpkin to carve, lots of campers did fancy dress including the owner Steve who was an amazing host from checking in to leaving.
The site is pristine and well set out, there is a fair bit of noise from the A5 but this didn't bother us.
We had a lovely walk to the aqueduct and had a gorgeous meal in The Bridge and a cheeky pint in The Poachers which are both very dog friendly.
This is a wonderful developing site and we will definitely be back.

Clean site, lovely clean showers, toilets and friendly staff.
Close to a busy noisy road each side of the caravan park. Will be good when the pool is open, and a possible play area for the children would be nice.
Unfortunately there aren't any rules about loud music or noise from other campers which could be a concern.
Close to walking to the canal and chirk, good base to visit Chester and North Wales.

Lovely site, well appointed and a very friendly owner. Well designed and level pitches.
Yes, there is road noise, but it's not too intrusive and it is very handy for the A483.
Also handy for the canal and pub by foot. Would definitely return and consider it good value for money for the facilities on offer.
Be aware that TV signal pretty poor (as with nearby Caravan Club Site), but free wifi compensates

The site was really clean and tidy. Its adjacent to a garden centre which has a sainsbury food shop which you could easily use to stock up your van.
There is a pub opposite- it was fully booked so couldn't test it out. There's a bus stop near. Site is also very close to the canal for lovely walks.
Downside is the noise from the main road, worse during the week than the weekend. There are some lodges being built on site so a little bit of noise and disruption.
The swimming pool hasn't yet been finished so not able to comment on that
