 Lovely site, well appointed and a very friendly owner. Well designed and level pitches.
Yes, there is road noise, but it's not too intrusive and it is very handy for the A483.
Also handy for the canal and pub by foot. Would definitely return and consider it good value for money for the facilities on offer.
Be aware that TV signal pretty poor (as with nearby Caravan Club Site), but free wifi compensates

The site was really clean and tidy. Its adjacent to a garden centre which has a sainsbury food shop which you could easily use to stock up your van.
There is a pub opposite- it was fully booked so couldn't test it out. There's a bus stop near. Site is also very close to the canal for lovely walks.
Downside is the noise from the main road, worse during the week than the weekend. There are some lodges being built on site so a little bit of noise and disruption.
The swimming pool hasn't yet been finished so not able to comment on that

Great site, great wide pitches and a dog friendly pub just across the road. Garden centre next door and small shopping complex too. Good canal side walks nearby.
Child and dog friendly but without a play area and a dog walk as such. Swimming pool to be finished hopefully by end of the year. Great helpful staff and lots of places to visit in the surrounding area.
Downside is the proximity of an A road going past the site but it didn’t bother us too much. Pluses outweigh the minuses.
Perfect free WiFi all over site, fully serviced hard standing pitch, plenty of room between pitches. £30 per night
Would visit again.

Stayed here for whit bank holiday
Plus and minus points.
Plus points first and there are lots of them. Owners really helpful and friendly, location is great with a great canal walk into Chirk, its got a great pub opposite and the actual site is immaculate with great facilities.
The only minus point is the traffic noise.
Its right next to the A483.
Anyway, we would go again just asking for a pitch a bit further away from the road
