As another reviewer has said, “Immaculate site with lovely wardens. ”
A very good layout with large, level, and well spaced, serviced pitches.
Excellent facilities which were spotless.
5 minutes walk to the nearby Poachers pub /restaurant, which sits on the Llangollen Canal.
Just off the A5 and ideally located for visiting Chirk castle.

The site is very clean and tidy, new washrooms, and bar/restaurant
Very nice staff at the reception.
Nice big pitches which are serviced
There is a Dobbies within walking distance,
There is a good walk along the canal which is just across the road.
Only one issue for us, is the road noise from the A5. We new is was close to the site, but as a light sleeper I was awake from 4am.

On arrival at the Site we were amazed how clean and well kept the park actually was
The Site wardens were friendly and welcoming and bent over backwards to please,
We knew the area well so settled in quickly.
The only downside of our stay was the traffic noise which was consistent day and night and we found it hard to ignore.
We will return but only on a pitch away from the busy bypass.

This is the first time we have used this site but it won't be the last.
Very reasonably priced.
Immaculate site and lovely wardens.
Yes the road was noisy but we knew about the roads before going.
Lots of places to visit. Canal and Great pub across the road.
All level plots and fully serviced pitches.
Shower block was small but quite adequate and spotlessly clean

Stayed three nights at this site close to Chirk in between Oswestry and Wrexham, lovely welcome at reception.
Facilities were excellent showers and toilet block very modern and heated.
On site bar, but there is also a lovely pub very close with great food
A short distance away is a lovely walk along the canal straight into Chirk.
The local bus stops right outside the site and goes to all three towns.
Would definitely visit again.

Couldn’t fault the site.
All facilities were top notch and the welcome was warm and sincere.
£36 for a fully serviced pitch is very competitive.
Very easy to locate also.

Beautifully kept site and friendly, helpful staff. Immaculate facilities.
Only downsides were road noise - which did not affect sleep at night, and (perhaps) lack of play area for children.
I would have liked a hotter shower, and my husband a cooler one (!) so just regard us as difficult customers 😂.
Washing up water was certainly lovely and hot.
Local Chinese delivers and was fantastic, The Poachers (pub /restaurant) was friendly, and lovely walks on canal paths and surrounding area.
Would certainly consider revisiting.

The staff are friendly, helpful and easy to deal with. The site facilities are clean and tidy and very well kept, as are all the pitches and the surroundings.
Although there is no site shop, there are good food and drink outlets within walking distance, along with a few local attractions.
The only thing that causes it to be marked down is out of their control, and this is the road noise, that can still be heard over the rain noise on the caravan.
It is only this that has lowered its ratings, which is sad because the staff do an excellent job in looking after the site.
