We spent 2 weeks at this site, it has good security controlled by a barrier and a security guard on at all times. This is a fantastic site, well looked after, it has lakes for fishing and water sports, there's a large play area for children of all ages, an outdoor pool which my girls Had lots of use. There's tennis courts and a small arcade. Shower and toilet blocks were spotless, Its a big park but not noisy. The park has lots of cycle routes. We cycled to Milton Keynes all by cycle paths Its about 5 miles and into stony Stratford, or you can cycle along the canal bank and watch all the canal boats, there's 2 nice pubs along the canal bank to. This park is great to stay on if wanting to visit London 35 mins on the train from Milton Keynes. We really liked this site and Definitely would go back.

If you are looking for a site confidently located for Milton Keynes or Northampton then this is the site.
It is a large site with space for a few hundred touring caravans. The entrance is controlled by security guards out of hours so is a very safe location.
The facilities on site are fantastic. There is a cafe, takeaway, amusements, mini golf and swimming pool.
Your children will have plenty of fun at the large playground.
The site is situated around several lakes and are full of wildlife, swans, geese etc.
The main large lake is used for water sports.
If you have dogs there are large areas set aside for dog walking.
Shower blocks and laundry rooms are dotted around the place as well. These are kept very clean and tidy.
The staff on site are friendly and very helpful.

Cosgrove Park was our second choice, the first was full, and as this isn't the sort of place we would normally choose, I was hoping it would be ok.
When I booked, the man was very efficient, took my details and asked me to pay by card over the phone, which I did.
The Park was easy to find, situated in a small pretty village in a rural area. The site is huge, divided into different areas for chalets and tourers, with lots of areas of water with waterfowl, very attractive.
When we arrived, we were allocated a pitch, given a map with an explanation of how to find it, and instructions on how to site the van, given a black bag for our rubbish and it was highlighted that we must leave by 12. 30 the following day. On the back of the map were the rules, no tents, no gazebos etc.
The pitch was on a lakeside, flat and grassy with a hedge divider. There were a couple of empty pitches nearby, plus some of the vans seemed unoccupied, so we weren't bothered by noisy neighbours.
There were a number of toilet blocks on site, none of them particularly close by. The one we used was clean. The showers were large but there was nowhere dry to put anything down. Outside the ladies showers was a useful bench to put things on whilst you finished dressing. The toilet block was cleaned 3 times a day.
Washing up was in a separate room which had washers and dryer. There were only 2 washing up sinks and we had to wait. I left OH finishing off, and apparently the security man came in and said that washing up should have been finished by 8pm so he could lock the door, but there was no notice to this effect, nor was it in the site rules.
One thing we noticed was how busy the site was with traffic, a constant coming and going of cars, not all keeping to the 10mph limit, and lots of children and teens out on their own on bikes, not always a good mixture.
We cycled round the site ourselves, saw the shop, playground and restaurant, people fishing. Didn't pass the pool, though it was signposted.
As we were there on a Friday, the site may not have been as busy as at a weekend, as it was, it went quiet around 10. 30.
We cycled from the site and along the canal, very pleasant, and visited local villages with historic Churches.
The price was very expensive for the use we had from it, but I suppose it is what you should expect for a holiday park in August.

Me and my little family of 5 have just returned from a weekend at Cosgrove Leisure Park. We used this as a base as we needed to go into Milton Keynes to use the Snowdome and indoor skydive, (which was amazing and just 15 mins drive away) We really loved the site and will be returning as we did not explore half as much as had hoped. My girls went and played in the play area that was suitable for ALL ages, we did not use the outdoor pool as the weather was the only down side of our trip. (hail, rain and thunder) The shop was well stocked with friendly staff and all the facilities very clean and tidy with pitches clearly marked with hedges. The restaurant was very clean and the food was great. My girls, including me, would have liked to have stayed for a few more days to have done some more walking around the grounds.
The park was on the large side, which we normally don't go for, but we were pleasantly surprised and a definite return visit.
The only down side I would have about this site, is that it seems to be predominantly seasonal pitches, which was evident on our first night when a party was going on, but they did abide by the camp rules and finished by 10. 30.
Only accepts caravans and motorhomes (no Tents, so our friends would be unable to come)
All in all, a thumbs up

We have visited this site twice this summer and enjoyed it so much we are applying for a seasonal pitch for next year.
For a village so close to Milton Keynes it is idyllic. The surrounding countryside offers many walks and cycle paths. The site is a little difficult to access through Cosgrove with a narrow bridge and tight corner but once on site it is secure with 24hr security, very clean and with lots to do. (Fishing, cycling, play area, crazy golf, swimming, arcade, take away, well stocked shop) & with very friendly staff.
For a site with many tourers, statics and lodges it does not feel overly busy and the toilet blocks are kept beautifully clean.
The site is surrounded by rivers, lakes and canals with a number of pubs for meals and drinks out.
It is a site which all the family can enjoy. Our boys (13 & 10) can have the freedom to play & make friends. We are looking forward to next year.

This site was attractive with its many lakes and landscape apart from the geese droppings. The site toilets were clean although the children provide the cleaners with a never ending task. The showers are on a short release and have no dry area.
The site is more for seasonal pitching than touring and children are left to run riot on site. They went round in large groups which made them noisy and a nuisance especially at night.
If you have a large unit the access roads are extremely tight. Cars were parked both sides of a narrow road making it difficult to pass.

A large site with lots of pitches. We specified a lake side location to enable fishing from the pitch (although I caught nothing on the one night I was there, but I am assured the are in there!).
There is a well stocked shop on site as well as other facilities such as a restaurant and swimming pool but we did not use these. A peaceful stay on a tidy site with clean amenities.

Our visit was a last minute decision and we really did not know what to expect. It was brilliant!
This is a site that is prepared to spend money on the site and not just make a profit. Whilst it was not the cheapest it was worth every penny.
The toilets were cleaned at least three times a day and this was a very thorough process, with both the inside and out getting cleaned. Amazingly they did not even have to close the block for the obligatory hour in which to do this (other sites could learn a lot from this).
The new swimming pool was lovely and two lifeguards were on hand for the swimming sessions. Another example of spending money to provide a good service.
The site was secure with barrier access and 24 hour security.
Whilst the site was large (we are not normally fans of large sites), it was well laid out and even with all the statics it did not feel over crowded. I would highly recommend this site.
If you have bicycles then bring them with you and you won't have to use your car during your stay as there are so many options to cycle, either via the Grand Union Canal or the huge number of cycle paths that can be accessed direct from the site. You can even easily cycle to the nearest Tesco (along the canal) in almost the same time it takes to drive. Might be worth getting a decent map if you are going to do this.
An excellent play park for children and great walking around the numerous lakes on site.
The two weekends that we were there were busy but never presented a problem.
A small but well stocked shop on site and also a restuarant and take-away.
Overall a ten out of ten and the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful.

I had great hopes for this caravan site because it's close to home, I had read the great reviews and arranged a visit in the hope we might fall in love and site our tourer there for the year. Our plan was for hubby to drop us off (me and kids) and leave us because he had to work the weekend.
We took both our cars for this reason but they wouldn't allow my car on site unless we paid an extra £5 per night, even though the car towing would have been leaving the site, but it doesn't work like that apparently!
When we got to our pitch it was covered in goose mess and we spent the first 30 minutes clearing it.
The site comprises about 90% residential caravans, in places it looked over crowded and because it was the start of school holidays there where lots of groups of children.
On the plus side the pool was lovely and had 4 pool attendants.
The park is very well looked after and there is no litter, toilets where cleaned regularly but the showers didn't have a dry area.
We were situated on heronsfield and it was a good 40 minute walk to the shop.
Lots of lovely walks along the canal and ouze valley walk in the area.

Expensive but beautiful. Fantastic facilities, loads to do and really friendly people.
Our three dogs had a perfect weekend, large grass area for them to run around in that had there own personal lakes in, they had a fantastic holiday although the baby geese every where were a very tempting snack!
Great food in the restaurant.
The Wi-Fi is an extra charge, which I had not realised until we arrived, the smallest Wi-Fi package was for a week at £10 for the week, sadly we were only there 3 days so this was expensive, but the service was good, speedy so much better than my slow dongle.
We would definitely return but the price would limit our stay.
