Second visit to this lovely site.
Great countryside location but only a short walk to Wooler High Street with local shops, take aways, pubs and a coop. The local butcher is a well worth a visit. Wooler is a good base for visiting Northumberland of places of interest a short drive away.
As it was mid week and not school holidays reception was not staffed all the time but phone calls were always answered quickly. Although there is no fridge freezer owners were happy to freeze ice blocks.
We originally planned to stay for 5 nights but decided to stay an extra 2 which meant we had to use the laudrette - £3 for a huge machine. There was even an iron available (again coin in slot) if needed.
Good sized washing up room with 3 sinks.
Shower block cleaned regularly, showers hot and free.
Will definitely go back again.

Handy for walking into Wooler - only 10 to 15 minutes - although not much to the High Street. Interesting walking country to the south of the site but quite hilly.
The site itself is also quite hilly and although a lot of levelling work has been done in laying out the pitches, most seem to require levelling blocks.
Our blocks - Millenco Quattro - were only just big enough to level our unit. The site was only about a third full when we were there which made it seem very spacious. Not sure whether it might feel a bit crowded if and when full.
Toilet block is at one end so a bit of a walk from pitches at the other end but the facilities are ok.
The only rubbish bins are next to the toilet block and they were full and nearly overflowing - in urgent need of emptying.
We had a water tap next to our pitch and there seemed to be quite a few other taps round the site.

We stayed a night, my squeeze and I and our three springers.
It's been a working farm on undulating hills above Wooler and 10 mins walk to the High St.
Certainly clean and tidy, the amenities in good order and conveniently located.
Plenty of room for doggie walking too.
Lovely views.

Lovely campsite clean and tidy within a short walking distance to Wooler centre with cafes, pubs, shops.
Showers and toilets clean and good condition.
Hot shower on timer with plenty of time to shower and wash hair.
Perfect pitch for our tent between hedges to add a bit of privacy.

On arrival we telephoned as instructed and were met and directed to our pitch.
The site was tidy and clean with a relaxing atmosphere.
Our pitch, which was hard standing, had water nearby, but was shaded for most of the day.
It is within walking distance to Wooler.
Very good dog walking area.
Would definitely recommend this site.

Amazing site and great service. We contact the team last minute on a busy Easter weekend and they offered us a great spot.
It was our first visit here.
Facilities absolutely spot on and the whole site was friendly.
Perfect peaceful break with a fab dog walk and approx 10min easy walk into town centre.
We can’t wait to visit again soon.

Cracking site a little gem hidden away at the back of wooler. Bit of a hilly walk into town but nothing hard.
Shower toilets are fine good pitch great view's.
If I'm being picky you are a bit crammed in. The one next to us had an awning out and it was very close to our van.
Would we come back yes no problem, nice place great price
