Just had a 4 day break with my wife at Priory Hill Leysdown.
It is a lovely park with great views, the toilets/ showers were spotlessly clean.
The food and and entertainment in the club was great.
Dan the park manager could not have been more helpful and friendly.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Thanks Dan

As before I can only say a huge thank you to Dan at Priory hill. He is clearly passionate about this site and for the welfare of his guests. We have just had a nice 2 pitch family weekend and all that was required was to hand.
The site is clean and well cared for and obviously extremely popular as there were few empty pitches. Anyone giving a negative view on Priory Hill are either too fussy or I need to visit Supersavers.
Ta again Dan, see you in September ! Roger and Gillian P.

Just came back from a weekend away and once again had a brilliant time. Me & my family absolutely love it here. The showers and toilets are so clean the staff are very friendly too. We can't wait to come back again my kids love it!
It has a little shop area in reception which is pretty good prices. We stayed on the second field which is near to the playground and has a huge field where we were able to play ball games.

Wanted a quick weekend away - searched the UKcampsite for somewhere near to us and found this campsite on the Isle of Sheppey (Leysdown).
Very nice clean well run site, even the most fussy of Campers could not find fault with this setting.
Showers hot and spotlessly clean - washing up area again spotless. Swimming pool included in the price of camp fees, as was use of the club. One price for caravan and up to six people and even the dog went free and wasn't frowned upon that's a first.
The setting was lst class with a lovely sea view, a couple of minutes walk to the sandy/shingle beach - children's play area and evening entertainment - 2 for one meals all cooked to order. Even black sacks were supplied for your rubbish which was collected and disposed of. Thank you Dan for a really nice weekend.

I have always been slightly unsure about the content of reviews because what one person sees as perfection another sees as average ! My wife and I spent two nights at Priory Hill and absolutely cannot find fault.
The site is clean and well cared for with plenty of room to move around and is surrounded by greenery. We chose not to use all of the facilities as we had our own plans but all was available and to hand.
The main point of our review however is to say a huge thank you to the site owner Dan. What a pleasant chap, friendly and with a big smile and so helpful and polite from start to finish !
Many such site owners/assistants would do well to have the same approach to their 'customers' as Dan. And yes, I know that apparently the customer is always right but then some of them can be a real pain in the backside, expecting absolutely everything to be 5 star spot on at any cost !.
Thank you Dan, we will be returning as much as time allows, but certainly on July the 10th :o). Roger and Gill Pickett

Me and my family stayed here for 3 night and we loved it! we were welcomed with friendly staff when we first arrived the showers and toilets were lovely and clean.
There were 6 children in our party and they absolutely love it too. There is a lovely green opposite where there is a climbing frame which the children loved.

Spent 5 nights on the touring site myself. Wife grandson, and dog. Cost £140. Weather was good which did help a lot. Parked in the second field which was next to the park handy for grandson and dog. Nice sea views.
Problems were toilets which were too far from caravan, toilets again which were really out of date. Mens toilets only have one cubicle to service 55/60 men/boys As there are 34 pitches and it was a busy weekend (carnival) toilets were very busy, unclean and the showers need an update.
Ladies toilets were the same showers need an update and disable toilet lock was broken.
Also toilet flush were very weak so were always soiled. Elsan emptying point was very dirty, with a broken flush and no where to wash your hands.
The one drinking water point was too far from the lower field where we were parked.
So all in all facilities ,mainly toilet block and drinking water, spoilt our holiday.

Very disappointing site hence no return visit we had a touring pitch which was very roomy but only one mens toilet and one pass key for toilets/showers so we all had to go at the same time or wait for the others to return. We tried to go swimming one day and they were closing the pool 5-30pm! We waited for kids entertainment but they said it was after the adult only bingo which was due to finish at 9pm (I know you are on holiday but who wants to start at 9pm)!
Toilets and showers need updating and there were only two sinks for washing up
The kids were not allowed to play bat and ball outside the tent and as it was bank holiday they crammed loads of tents in which made it awkward for us to get out
We had two vehicles and were told to park one in the other car park which was always full - so we had to park on the road a long way away The shop didn't have much in it either and we found we needed to go off the island to find anything to do! (Leeds Castle is fantastic)!

We stayed at Priory Hill for four nights we are a family with three children and we all really enjoyed our stay.
The site is clean with nice big well keep pitches. The park and playing field is right next to the touring field so you can keep an eye on the kids. And the beach is just across the road.
The toilet and shower block is very clean (with hot water all the time) it is unlocked all day but locked at night. When you arrive you are given a key for the toilet along with a fob to open the security gate which is fitted to the entrance to the touring field.
The site has a nice club house with good well priced food and drink. The pool is a nice clean indoor pool with a Jacuzzi and outside sun area.
This is a great site which we will be visiting again and would recommend to all campers.
