I have been going to this campsite for over 20 years, first with my parents and family friends as a child and now I come with my husband, at least once a year!
This is a great campsite, I have found it fun when I was a kid, and quiet and clean as an adult.
Val and Phil are great, and will help you out whenever needed.
The site is well placed, near to Hayle and Gwithian, there are nice walks nearby and a forest on site.
There will always be a special place in my heart at this campsite

This is the fourth time I have brought friends here on diving trips. We hired the two static caravans, which were excellent. Val is very firm on the no diving equipment in the caravans rule, and this helps keep the caravans maintained to a high standard. My friends, who had not been their before remarked on this particularly.
The campsite is very pleasant and quiet and Phil is rightly proud of the grass which he keep like a lawn. We enquired about having a barbecue and a gas barbecue was provided for us. The shower, toilet, and clothes washing and drying facilities for use by campers were smart and kept clean and the dive cylinder filling was quick, quiet and reasonably priced. Phil is very helpful with local dive knowledge and has given advice or help with boat and equipment problems.
I should also mention 'Lonesome' the ageing Guinea Fowl that has outlived her peers and will visit periodically to see if you have anything for her. Cheers Joe

Lovely clean site, nice place to be. Extremely quiet when we were there even though there were lots of families staying.
We didn't find the owners to be people people either! Maybe it is just their way but they weren't particularly friendly!
Good location and lots to see in all directions within an hour.
Would we go back, hmm, I am not sure!

On arrival we were given several options for places to pitch our tent, eventually choosing the last with EHU on the left of the field. Really lovely setting, a small field with hedgerow behind and a woodland in front of us. Woken by the dawn chorus in the mornings and we watched rabbits in the evenings and mornings. We also saw buzzards circling overhead on several evenings. There is a woodland walk as well. A great place for nature lovers!
The site is well placed for touring the north, west and south coasts and all places in between. Local pubs and shop are a short drive away and there several large supermarkets only slightly further away.
The toilet and shower blocks were both clean and fully functional during our stay, they could do with a revamp, but we found them to be fine. Washing up liquid and hand soap was provided free and so was the hot water. A couple of quirks though, there are 3 washing up sinks, 1 next to the entrance to the gents and the other 2 inside the toilets, 1 in gents and 1 in ladies. The showers are 10p for 3 minutes with the meters outside of the cubicle. Realistically you need to put at least 20p in to shower. If the money runs out before you've finished so does the water! We found the water temperature to be fine for us.
The only downside to the site centred around freezer blocks. There is no communal freezer so you have to give them to the owners (max of only 4 at a time!). The owners didn't appear to like being disturbed and I would not describe either of them as 'people, people' as I got the impression that they'd rather not have to deal with me each day. Blocks handed in in the morning were not frozen by the evening so it was impossible to keep anything cold in our cool box. Luckily we had an electric cooler so we could keep essentials cool. If the owners don't want to deal with this issue they only need to invest in a chest freezer. (Since our stay we have bought a table top fridge to take camping. )
Would we be put off from staying again. No, and, as long as you don't rely on a cool box I'd recommend this site to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to returning to Cornwall to explore more of the attractions and unspoilt coast soon.

We have just returned from a lovely break in Southern Cornwall, staying at this lovely, peaceful caravan site.
We are lucky enough to live in Cornwall but wanted a quite base to explore this particular area.
It was just what we wanted.
A handful of tents scattered in which we could choose an area around the field.
2 static caravans and a few tiny farm cottages as well as the main house.
Divers and boats came and went daily. They were able to refill their tanks from the caravan park.
Ice blocks could be frozen in the main house.
This site allows dogs on leads. The owners have 2 dogs and prefer dog owners to keep their dogs away from the main house.
There are beautiful woodland walks at the rear or the site, great for dog walkers and tree climbers.
There was hardly any noise on camp. The sound of children laughing and coming together to play football and the birds singing.
No noise from a clubhouse or games room. Perfect for families who want to chill.
The site is close to Lands End, St Michaels Mount, st. Just and many beaches and fishing towns such as Mousehole.
A favourite for us was a trip to Geevor Tin mine. Fabulous scenery, a look at the engineering side of things, panning for gold and a walk through the mine. The children loved it.
The only contradictions about the caravan site would be the 10p metre showers which were nearly always cold and 1 sink to wash dishes. Another is situated in the toilet block. Ummmmmmmm
And perhaps a freezer for blocks. As the owners get disturbed by holiday makers knocking on the door to collect frozen blocks.
A great stay.

We have been staying at this campsite, every summer, for 13years with our children and we couldn't be happier with it. My in-laws brought their sons here every year for around 20years before that and then when I joined the family they invited me too and I loved it so it seemed the obvious choice when we had children of our own and I've never looked back. There are no bars or arcades or anything noisy, it is a quiet site with just the sound of children playing, people talking and the birds singing. I have never found this site loud, people seem to respect everyone else and keep themselves to themselves.
It is set in beautiful surroundings with only a short drive to several beauty spots and beaches, including St Michael's Mount, Sennen Beach and Lands End. The land itself is surrounded by woods which you can walk through. We've stayed in their Granny Flat-which I don't think is available to rent anymore, but it was so lovely and clean inside-we loved it in there, it was a home from home. Then we stayed in their converted barn which was perfect and so nice inside that the children didn't actually want to leave at the end of the holiday. We've been camping there and the owners were so helpful.
There are unisex shower rooms that I didn't find a problem. The toilets are very clean too with washing up facilities located in the same building. We spent summer 2012 and 2013 in one of the static caravans, we liked it that much that we booked our 2013 holiday as we were leaving in 2012. My husband and son still camp in the tent, but the two girls (age 14 and 2 years old) and I preferred to stay in the caravan. The caravans are very clean, with all the creature comforts of home. They have a table to sit round, tv-if you have time to watch it, two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. There are books provided if you fancy a read in the sun. I think the prices are very reasonable. I honestly can't recommend this site highly enough even though I haven't stayed anywhere else to know what they are like, well I don't need to do I?
Looking forward to spending our holiday there next year and many more years after that.

Made a last minute booking for a static caravan for myself and my wife. The lady who took our booking could not have been more helpful, and gave us lots of info, advice and good directions. Easily found the site, down a very quiet lane, and was warmly greeted by the owners and shown to a spotlessly clean caravan. All the expected equipment was provided, and the 'van was modern and comfortable. The site is quiet and is well located for visiting St. Ives, Penzance, Marazion (for St. Michael's Mount), Land's End and the surrounding areas. The site is not too large, and does not have a club, restaurant or play area, so the ideal place for grown ups to unwind and spend a restful break. Shops and pubs are a short drive away, but easily accessible. Would recommend a stay here.

I wanted to go on camping holiday in the West Cornwall area, ideally a campsite close to Penzance and Marazion. I had a list of a few campsites in the area that I wanted to check first before choosing one.
Trevair Touring Park stood out as being the nicest campsite. The facilities are great with clean toilets, showers and washing areas. The landscaped sub-tropical grounds all add to holiday experience. It is also a very sheltered location, so no problems with the wind blowing your tent or caravan away. There is lots of space so you are not crammed in. It is on a quiet lane but fortunately it is wide so there would be no problem towing a caravan, trailer or dive boat to the campsite.
The owners are really nice and go out of their way to help you. I thoroughly enjoyed my seven days there and will keep coming back.

We spent two nights at this park and the owners could not do enough for us. The facilities toilets showers were spotless. The place is about 5 miles from penzance. Little village about a mile away. Very quiet location. Great for bikers and walkers. Not much for children. Dogs are allowed. Good value for money as it was September out of season we only paid £13. 00 per night. If you are wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life this is the place. Showers are priced at 10p for 3 minutes. Water redhot and place lovely and clean. Also great for tents as all facilities for washing up

Just got back from a 3 night stay at this site -really lovely site-so peaceful and relaxing with only the birdsong breaking the silence. Very sheltered by the woods which were good for walking the dog in. Good walks also from the campsite with lovely countryside all around.
Facilities were clean and well maintained-good showers and a bargain at 10p for 3 mins.
Great location for touring the southern tip of Cornwall.
Lovely beaches and cliff-top walks nearby especially liked Praa beach and Prussia Cove.
A real get away from it all camp-site-will definitely be back!
