Beuveland felt large - not sure of the number of tents etc - more commercial feeling than Rozel. There is a pub / restaurant. Did not try the food but must say it looked very good.
The entertainment was not the 'Butlins' style I was expecting and we saw a couple of very good solo acts - it did not boom out over the site at all. Some nice things for the kids too. The shower / loos / baby changing / laundrey etc was in a block adjacent to the site entrance, as is the shop and pool and pub and games room etc.
Plus point is that the noise is away from a lot of the site apart from the areas right next to the entrance area, minus point is that it's quite a hike to get to the toilets for a lot of campers. The toilets / showers were quite crowded and not well ventilated and stuffy, but adequate.
There is a dish washing hut centrally located as well as the one near the other facilities, so that cut down walking to wash up, and there are plenty of drinking water taps. The play area is good and quite modern, lots of kids playing after dark I noticed.
Minus point about the pool is that at 1. 5m deep with no shallow end or paddling pool for toddlers it is less good if your child can't swim. I did find there was some noise coming from a field next to our bit of the site with what sounded like a generator starting up at 6am and engine noises - seemed to be a digger shifting rubble half the day and did feel like being next to a building site when we first arrived, but I gather that this was not usual and other people did not find it a problem. Was not much of a problem in the end.
Overall rating good but if you like quieter sites with no entertainment etc maybe choose one of the other 2 campsites on Jersey

My wife and I spent two weeks on the Beuvelande campsite and enjoyed every single day.
The site is under new ownership and all the new staff made us feel both welcome and special.
We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary in Tilleys, the site restaurant and had a most enjoyable experience. We ate in Tilleys, whenever it was open, because the food was very good and reasonably priced. Opening was restricted at this time of year, which was a shame, but understandable.
There were lots of people staying on the site, especially at weekends, but noise was never a problem. The toilets were always spotless and the site was well maintained. Refurbishment work on some of the buildings was still being completed, but all the main facilities, such as laundry and washing-up sinks were available and clean.
There is a large children's play area and a small outdoor swimming pool on site.
The location of the site is excellent for walking and cycling around the eastern half of Jersey and there are plenty of local buses to take you anywhere on the island.
We have never had a better holiday at this time of year on any other campsite.

We have just spent 8 nights at this campsite and had a wonderful time. The site is under new ownership and we were extremely well looked after by the new owners, Alice & Danny and their family.
The site is very well maintained with the large shower block being extremely clean and all other areas of the camping fields being very well presented.
The food in the restaurant was really delicious, having eaten there on two occasions. Car hire was arranged for us and there is also bicycle hire.
The site presently has 2 Yurts for hire and 2 more arriving soon. There is a laundry room, and two under cover washing up areas. There is also a games room (not open at the time of our visit), a children's play area and an outdoor swimming pool.
The site is set in peaceful countryside surrounded by lovely 'Green Lanes' with a 15 minute walk to the village of St. Martin with a local general store, pub and excellent tea rooms.
This is also where you catch the bus, which takes approx 15 mins to reach St.Helier. We would certainly stay at this site again, should we return to Jersey.

If you're after a quiet, relaxing stay in Jersey - then this is not the site for you! Must be the noisiest camp site I have ever stayed on - likened by our fellow campers to Butlins Jersey.
From dawn until after midnight the noise was incessant from children and teenagers mainly, but also thoughtless adults. We were camping near some of the pre-erected tents and the issue seemed to be primarily people staying in these who perhaps are not regular campers and not used to the normal camp-site etiquette.
The site is quite large with quite comprehensive facilities - well stocked shop open from 8 till 6 every day, swimming pool (although we didn't use it as it was constantly busy with older children - too old for our youngsters), restaurant which server good simple breakfasts and evening meals although not cheap and the menu is somewhat limited. Made use of the laundry room which was reasonably priced (£2 per wash or dry) and well maintained.
Showers and toilets are generally clean with plenty of hot water as are the washing up areas - kept clean by site staff although again I think they suffer from the non-regular campers who don't clean up after themselves. Similarly one morning 3 out of the 6 mens toilets had broken locks - but they were repaired the same day.
Have to say that the staff are generally a pretty miserable bunch particularly in the restaurant - you'll be lucky to get anything more than a mono-syllabic response.
Jersey is a lovely destination, plenty to see and do - if you manage to see the Battle of Flowers in August you won't be disappointed - absolutely stunning. Jersey's Living Legend is a very good show in a rather naff park - avoid the restaurant here at all costs. Durrell is excellent as usual.
Top billing must go to the beaches - surely some of the best in the world.

We have just returned from a TravelSmith pre-set up tent at this site. First 'go' in a pre-setup as we have our own kit.
I would agree with everything already said about the site itself: It's well maintained, clean and the 'independent' fields seem spacious. My boys (9 and 11) loved the goalposts and kite flying in the footy-field. The pool was a bit cool but we're Australian wimps!
The shop had the essentials and opened 8-6. You could get fresh bread every day.
The entertainment facilities were all open, it being UK summer hols, and there was something on every night (bingo, karaoke, hobby horse racing, quiz, live band). The TravelSmith rep was very pleasant and helpful and our pre-set up tent was clean, spacious and reasonably well equipped. They are laid out in regimented rows like you might expect, 2 lines facing each other and you park your car away from the tents. And yes, they are no more than 3m apart.
The only issue on the pre-setup area was constant noise. Teenagers gathered in the children's play area til at least 11, often midnight; bikes whizzed past at break-neck speed; then the post bingo groups gathered outside their tents and continued their recreation til midnight, unfortunately unavoidably 2 metres away from others' sleeping children. The site was rarely quiet before midnight any of the 7 nights we stayed.
I would certainly consider staying at this site again but in the furthest field in our own tent, but I think it only fair that you should be aware that the 'pre-setup' area is more like a Haven caravan park than a traditional campsite. Many families obviously have no problem whatsoever with this but I personally wouldn't have chosen this particular arrangement had I known in advance. This is not 'a gripe' but an objective observation regarding the 'style' of this area.
Jersey: watch the tide times. St Brelade is great at all tides and St Ouen fine; the east coast beaches are a moonscape of rock, smelly seaweed and increasing silt as the huge tide recedes!
Durrell (ex-'the zoo'!) is fab, the boys loved it. Note no lions, zebra etc but gorillas and aye-aye. Pick Gorey castle over Elizabeth as it's better value for money.
The pub in St Martins (20 mins walk) does good food.

We are into our 60's and have just returned from a lovely 3 week holiday in Jersey.
We took our tourer over on the ferry and made our way, on landing at St.Helier port, to Beauveland Camping Site.
On arrival we were met by Richard Del a Haye and directed to one of the large fields.
Although we were in the company of Backpackers, Tent people, motorhomes and other tourers there was no loud music and the many children that were there were well behaved, itches were available with nearby Grey/Drinking water supplies and refuse bins.
The shop/reception carried a large variety of goods, daily papers were available also fresh bread.
Any information was freely given and it was no effort and there was ample supply of information pamphlets.
The main toilet/showers were immaculate as was the facilities for the disabled.
A washing area is provided and an indoor play area next to a television room.
Al Fresco eating if wanted, supplied a variety of good food to suit all needs, plus children's menus.
There is a large swimming pool within sight of reception, children to be accompanied by adults!
A very large children's play area is situate next to the pool, all areas covered with safety surfaces.
All in all we found Beauvelande more than worthy of its 4 star rating and would not hesitate to return and/or recommend to others.
Well Satisfied

Went last week as part of a group - we had a folding caravan, one couple had a pre-erected tent, the rest were in 6 tents. We were made very welcome, and (except for the pre-erected tent) sited together, with a hook-up for the caravan.
The shower block is excellent, always clean, loads of loos and showers, free hot water. Near the entrance - not too far from where we were sited, but a bit of a hike from some parts of the site. Washing up stations under cover with sinks and hot water, very good.
The shop was only open 0830-1000 and 1700-1730, and had nothing fresh - fruit, veg, bread. Lots of tins and packets, also milk.
The bar/restaurant was not open at all during our 4-night stay, which was disappointing.
The narrow roads were a bit of a worry when towing, but drivers are so courteous, it wasn't a problem.
We bought a 'Jersey Pass', £45 for a 4-day one, 2-day also available. This gave us free entrance to several attractions, e.G. War Tunnels, Durrel Wildlife Trust, Living Legend, and two free games at the Bowling Alley - and discounts, e.G. 10% off at the Jersey Pottery. Not only a saver, but convenient, too.
We would definitely go again.

We have just returned from this very pleasant, family run campsite.
Our accommodation was a pre-erected tent that slept 2 adults and 2 children. It was very well equipped, with an option of an electrical hook-up for a small returnable deposit (£10). The electric lighting is otherwise free. You can also hire a fridge for £20 weekly.
The facilities were very clean and they comprise of disabled toilet and shower facilities and baby-changing room, very light and nicely decorated toilet and shower units with large mirrors with electrical supply for the bad hair days!
The washing up area was a bit of a trek if you at the bottom half of the tented area.
We found the site very quiet and tidy and the eleven o'clock close down to us was great as we like quiet facilities. There is a games room for the kids with a pool table etc. The small swimming pool was apparently 'a bit cold' according to my 11 yr old and there is no life guard, so go with your kids to keep them safe. There is a fenced off play area with swings and a climbing frame.
The evening entertainment was a tad sparse as they closed the pub / restaurant halfway through the week.! We did get a game of bingo and a quiz though. This was the one bad thing that I have to report, but it was the last week of the season.
Luckily there is a pub called 'The Royal' within a 20 mins stroll or 5 min drive, which is recommend for the food and fab waiting staff that made you feel welcome. Not expensive, very good portion sizes and virtually no waiting time from placing your order. It does get very busy, sometimes you do have to wait for a table, but that just proves how good it is in my eyes.
The leafy single track lanes were a bit daunting to say the least, so driving slowly is a must. The overall maximum speed limit for the Island is 40, so speed freaks and petrol heads stay away.
We had a very heavy rain storm with high winds so had a leaky tent, after reporting to the courier, Ann, we were moved with help to a different one - no arguments just apologies for the inconvenience. So praise all round there. Thank you Ann.
There are no major supermarkets here, Checkers is ok and we found a Spar nearby, also an M&S food store. The camp site store has the basics so don't expect Tesco on your doorstep.
Overall a lovely site with good sized, well equipped accommodation, very clean and friendly with something for the kids too.

As usual great to re visit this camp site, as usual rep from Travel Smith was on hand to welcome us, (we chose the same tent number every year)we travelled through Travel Smith though this year went over by Condor Ferries as we took our own car, so arriving at the site at 10.30am.
Camp site mainly the same over the years, some tarmac done in and around the Dining Walk ways.
Great Clean facilities with plenty of lighting to and from our part of ready erected tents. One downside this year was loads of bikes being ridden around the site even between the tents which was a real pain at times. (not recommended by Travel Smith) Overall a great experience and one that we will be doing again.
Evening Entertainment the usual Bingo, Horse Racing, Live Bands and this year Face Painting as well though they could perhaps provide earlier sessions aimed at children ie craft sessions and or disco (1 hour only)
Stuck for things to do go behind the scenes at the zoo (for a small donation)or volunteer to help out on the floats in preparation for Battle of the Flower Parade in August you will be made welcome.

We where met and escorted from the ferry to the site which was quite handy as some of the roads are narrow. We were offered a choice of pitches all about twice as big as normal, we decided on one of the lower fields as we have no young children and it was a fair distance from the children's play area ,which suited us, the toilet block was also some distance away but again not a problem for us but might be for a tent camper
Considering there was approx 600people on site the facilities where kept clean and tidy there was some type of entertainment on every night which would help keep young families happy and the food seemed OK the nearest pub was a 10 to 15 minute walk away and served good food .It was possible to walk to the coast in about half an hour & there are lovely bays and walks all around the island We went on the day trip to sark which I would recommend but pick a nice day as this is not cheap ,all round a great holiday
