Very friendly and welcoming. Amenities are great and the location is fantastic with some stunning view.

Both myself and my daughter always enjoy staying at this site. This was our first time in one of their static caravans as we are usually in a Tent. Very clean as always very impressed with this Site.

A great site whether in a Tent or one of their static caravans.

Just back from a 5 day stay at Cornish Coasts Campsite.

Delightful site. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. The owners were on hand immediately to offer any assistance they could. I was on my own with my two youngest children and if I'd needed help it would've been there.

The site remained dry even during a sustained period of heavy rain.

Great site shop with everything you could possibly need. Shower block was always very clean.

The owners were very attentive and they genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay. We borrowed boogie boards and wetsuits and spent a lot of time at the very local Widemouth Bay beach surfing. Not having my wife with us I fed the kids on Cornish pasties and fish n chips all week. Not a salad in sight! Try the specialist pasty shop in Bude. Forget what it's called but overlooks a small park. Brilliant pasties and probably other stuff.

Great trip. Despite the weather.

We have just returned from an 11 day stay at Cornish Coasts and were overwhelmed at how friendly and approachable the owners were. They could not do enough to help with anything we asked and were always on hand if there was a problem.

On one occasion - where a youngster had had an accident (not caused by the campsite) and suffered a nasty cut to his forehead one of the owners took the upset parents and child to the local minor injuries unit whilst the others looked after the two sisters. This went above and beyond the call of duty and showed a caring for their customers. This is just one example of their helpfulness.

Another example was the efforts they put in to trying to help campers with their set-ups in particularly windy weather conditions. I am not quite sure how many tents they saved but I know they were busy.

Our particular camping circumstances were slightly out of the norm and from the minute we rang up to get a quote we knew we had picked a good site. On arrival we were shown to our pitch which was nicely tucked away in a corner and a tree line away from the park - ideal for our three children (ages 5 - 8) to stay occupied on whilst we pitched and set up.

There was an EHU set up at every pitch although we didn't need to take advantage of it so can't comment on costs etc.

The park itself has a swing set with slide, a separate swing set, a little tykes play set up and a football goal with plenty of balls around the place. Our children loved it and spent many happy hours on it making new friends.

The site is one of the cleanest I have been to in 5 years of camping and the showers didn't have that 'grassy' feel that many have or a mingy looking mop bucket tucked in the corner (it didn't need it). If there was a technical hiccup (such as one of the lights being out one night) it was fixed as soon as the owners were notified.

The showers (I can only talk about the ladies!) are quirky with 2 shower cubicles and 3 toilets. The children loved the toilet seats (especially the beach and the cow) and whilst there was sometimes a queue for the showers this is expected. The shower cubicles themselves were big enough for me and my two youngest to stand in whilst they were showered one at a time which makes life easier for parents of young children. There were also a number of hooks behind the door which is often a missing necessity in camp site showers. The showers were also free which is getting rarer these days.

The washing up facilities were adequate-looking although we didn't use them and again these areas were kept clean and tidy. There is also a washing machine and dryer which we used a couple of times. It cost me about a tenner to do a non-colourfast wash and dry but that is because I paid for the option of a longer wash and then dry. You can actually get the basics done for half that price.

The location is also ideally placed on the A39 and within easy reach of Bude, Widemouth Bay and many other parts of Cornwall.

Would I recommend this site?? Definitely and already have done.

Cornish Coasts is far and away the friendliest campsite we have ever stayed on (out of 15 now). Campsites are often welcoming when you arrive but Liz, Kevin and Karen have time for a chat throughout the week. They have such a presence on site they know exactly which children belong to which parents, staying in which unit on which pitch.

The owners live on site (along with three kids) and it literally feels like they've invited you stay in their backyard. There's a shelter right next to the house, half of which is fairly enclosed and has sofas and books, half of which is more open with picnic tables and a magazine box. This is the only place on site where you can get wifi (it's free) so we lovingly referred to this as the 'wifi shack', which provides a great space to sit when the weather is a bit iffy (which it was for most of our stay).

Without wishing to sound too 'Masterchef' the set up is here is simple but they've absolutely nailed it. The ablutions block is a converted outbuilding so not the most modern, but it's quirky and always spotlessly clean. If you want a shower at 5pm you'll probably have to queue but the friendly vibe seems to rub off on the campers so you can always have a chat to pass the time. The kids made friends easily too; even though the play area is suited to younger kids, older kids and teens also use the play field as a place to congregate. It's separate from the pitches so they don't disturb anyone.

We pitched on the top field and it was a bit slopey and bumpy but spacious and with a sea view to compensate. I thought we might be disturbed by the A39 being so close but the only time I was aware of the noise was 7:30am ish when I was already awake. The main road is a major advantage as you can be in Bude in 10 mins or Widemouth in 5 with easy access to Boscastle / Tintagel and King Arthur to the south all of which make it a great base to explore from.

It's evident that the owners have put their heart and soul into this place and that's why Cornish Coasts is worthy of a 10* review.

This is our 1st ever holiday in a static caravan after 15yrs of tenting in Cornwall/Devon, due to the wife's disabilities now we could not do tenting anymore. We choose this site because:-

1)Good reviews.

2)We knew where the site was (A39, near to Wainhouse Corner).

3)We heard that new owners had taken over (2009).

Upon arrival we were greeted so warmly by Kevin(the younger)& Liz & Karen & then we were shown around the static (which was clean & tidy), any problems that we had was sorted by Kevin immediately, the whole of the family & staff are extremely friendly and very easy to get on with & talk to, they take time out to chat with you (unlike some sites that we have visited). We had sea views from our static, which was good, They also have FREE SHOWERS if needed in the shower/toilet block which were very clean & maintained every day, the children that were on site seemed to enjoy the playground very much. The site is medium sized but that is sufficient for us, with plenty of hook-ups & hard-standings for the campers & tourers.

The surrounding area is beautiful with Bude just up the road with lots of beeches to choose from. We cannot stress enough the friendliness & cheerfulness of Kevin & the gang, We would give them all 10/10.

We both enjoyed our time at Cornishcoasts so much so that we have BOOKED our holiday for 2015 on the day our holiday ended.

The only improvement that we would add for the statics is for scatter cushions in the seating area's so as to ease the lower backs of us older & disabled one's when seated !

Stayed at Cornish Coasts for 9 days and found it to be a lovely relaxed site. The owners were lovely and very helpful throughout our stay.

The site was clean, the facilities well maintained and cleaned regularly. There was plenty of space between pitches, you never felt too close to the neighbours! The children's playground was enjoyed by all the kids, although did get quite muddy thanks to all the rain! The site also has it's own well stocked shop, which we used daily!

Was a great base for travelling around the area and perfect for our families new found hobby - bodyboarding!

Despite a very wet and windy few days the whole family enjoyed their stay here and the kids were quite upset when we had to head for home. Would definitely recommend this site.

 Loved this campsite!

Perfect access right off the A39 which made it easy to nip off out for the day.

Toilet block was very clean and functional, lovely adjustable showers with removable shower heads (great if you just want to wash your hair!). Owners were lovely and couldn't do enough to help. Even though we visited in the height of season we were shown a choice of pitches. There was bags and bags of room, at least 10 metres between pitches so the whole place had a great feeling of space.

Also what a great rate, £19. 50 in the height of season.

Loved Bude, what a great little town. Had a meal at the Falcon Hotel which we would highly recommend, excellent food and even more excellent service. The best bit was the walk along Bude canal which was very lovely.

We will definitely be returning to this site.

Just returned from this campsite after a lovely 10 day holiday. We only booked for 7 but decided to stay longer. Beautiful views, very clean toilet and shower facilities and friendly, helpful owners who always had time for a quick chat to check all was well. Nice play area which my twin boys (aged 6) loved. The site was in a good position for beaches, tourist attractions and Bude. Lovely family friendly atmosphere - would definitely recommend.

This is a great little site with brilliantly friendly & helpful owners. I had such a warm welcome and got set up on my pitch (which they were very flexible about as I fancied being on the grass rather than hard standing when I arrived). I got great suggestions about local places to visit, where I should park, where I could walk to, etc.

The shop was well stocked with a wide variety of foods, drinks, toiletries, suncream, tourist leaflets. Everything I needed during my stay. The shower and toilet block was always clean, with plenty of hot water.

The site is close to Widemouth Bay and Bude, which have good walks and beaches. Plenty of waves for bodyboarding, and I enjoyed sitting watching the surfers and kite surfers into the evening. Bude canal was a surprising and picturesque walk too.

There is some road noise, but even being at the front of the site it didn't impact my stay at all. In fact for me the location right on the A39 was perfect for getting out and about each day. I found it by chance on a web search, and I'll definitely be returning soon - I highly recommend it.

We had such a great time at this site previously that this was the site of choice for the summer holiday by the entire family ! We were not disappointed - toilet block always clean (must be cleaned about 3 times a day to be kept this clean) and the kids loved the novelty toilet seats, even naming one Sam !

Site is really well kept - it is set out in terraces down the hill. The sunsets across the site out towards Widemouth Bay were absolutely stunning, and there were so many stars out at night it was amazing.

Good sized play area set away from the tents and caravans with climbing equipment for younger children, and impromptu football matches were regularly played most evenings.

Liz, Kev and Karen, the site owners are brilliant. So friendly and can't do enough to assist you. They have a well stocked shop, with lots of camping equipment supplies, groceries, wines and beers (Doombar is gorgeous !) plus the shop is also a Post Office.

Yes the site is next to the A39 but for us the road was not a problem, but an advantage as you are then able to get to wherever you needed to very easily. Widemouth Bay is great for all day beach time, and Bude is a lovely little town. Tintagel Castle is not too far away, and there are loads of other attractions around.

We had a fantastic time and can't wait to return again.
