Our first visit to this site and we were pleased. The pitches are screened off by hedgerows that also act as a wind break and the site is well kept. The kids loved the play park and spent slot of time making friends. The toilets and showers were clean and tidy. The owners were very friendly and were great to chat to. It was good to be close to bude and the beach. There is a small shop on site that has the necessities.
The site is close to the A39 and the traffic can be heard at night.
We would stay again.

This was a return visit for myself and most of the party - family and couple of friends, 9 of us in all. We used a couple of tents and had a pitch on the top terrace not far from the shower block.
We did use a single electric hook-up and had no problems.
This was the first time back since the site changed ownership - so a bit nervous of what we might find! Need not have worried; the new owners are very friendly and helpful, very happy to get input on the site and the changes and get ideas from the campers.
Since our last visit the showers have been updated somewhat and to good effect. The team keep the place very clean and are often to be found with a mop and bucket.
Site was full during the early part of our stay but not a problem.
Hope to be back again soon!

This was our first stay in North Cornwall and we couldn't have picked a better location - great for getting out and about and exploring the north coast. It's just off the main road, but road noise was not a problem. Site was fairly quiet when we arrived but got really busy when the local schools broke up, but even so the toilets and showers remained clean at all times. Had to queue a couple of times for showers but not for too long.
Owners very friendly and helpful; would definitely recommend.

We have been regular visitors to Cornish Coasts for the last 6 years and have seen the campsite go from strength to strength during this time.
What really stands out for us the the friendliness of the owners, as well it's beautiful setting. On several occasions we have gone to Cornish Coasts with the intention of spending just a weekend there, but have ended up staying over a week because it is just so pleasant. We are regular campers and have seen our fair share of campsites, but have yet to find a campsite more enjoyable than this one.
In terms of facilities, Cornish Coasts has all we need, with no frills but a lot of care taken over the upkeep of the campsite. The toilets & showers are always immaculate and there is plenty of space for dish washing and laundry facilities.
The layout of the campsite is excellent - it has never felt crowded, even when we have visited at peak times. There are leveled tiers and 2 more open areas to camp in, with all areas of the campsite having their merits. We have never found noise to be an issue, as although there are no formal rules, the other guests all seem to be respectful of others' privacy.
There is lots to do in the local area, and the site is in a great position for exploring Devon & Cornwall. The campsite is located a few minutes drive from Widemouth Bay - a huge sandy beach with good surf for beginners to experienced surfers. Bude is about 5 miles away and offers more beaches, as well as several surf shops restarants & bars etc.
There is a well stocked shop at the campsite with convenient opening times. The owners are exceptionally helpful and will go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay. Their friendliness and enthusiasm really makes the place, and I suppose being able to watch the sun set over the sea from outside your tent also helps - a stunning view!.

We have just got back from a four night stay here. It is great base for visiting, Bude, Clovelly, Tintagel Castle, Boscastle, the list goes on and on.
The site was very clean and tidy, with a shop and post office on site too. The shower block was clean and freshly painted. There was lots of lovely constant hot water after just leaving a site where you had to pay 40pence into the shower for 5 minutes it was nice not to feel rushed!.
The owners were very helpful and friendly, we hope to go back next year.

We've stayed at Cornish Coasts Campsite for the past 8 years in our VW Campervan Daisy. The new owners have made some great changes to the site improving the drainage and pathways.
The toilet block is basic but has everything you need. It is always clean.
The owners have young children so have improved the play area with more swings & a climbing frame.
The shop has everything you need.
We are a family of 4 with 2 dogs a camper and an awning we always visit for at least 10 days and love every minute of our stay.
The pitches are spacious and the sunsets are amazing.
If you are looking for a busy site with entertainment & a pub this is not the site for you.
However if you're looking for a lovely tiered site which feels quiet even when busy near to one of the loveliest beaches in Cornwall 'Widemouth' then this is the site for you.
Great meals at ' The Bay View Inn' which is also dog friendly.

We are a family of four and stayed in a static caravan at this site for a long weekend at the end of May. We chose the site due to the location which is really handy off the A39, close to all the north coast of cornwall has to offer.
The site is really tidy with space for the kids to play safely and a shop if you need anything urgently.
The static caravan we stayed in had great views over the sea and was equipped with everything needed, the staff running the site were really friendly and recommended a great local kids indoor play area on a rainy day!
Definitely will be using this site again!

A great little site. Owners really friendly and helpful. Site shop adequate for our needs - stocked most things needed. Toilets are very clean. Loads to do in and around Bude & loved Widemouth Bay. Alot of main attractions are a short car trip away - Boscastle, Tintagle & Port Isaac. Will definitely go back and stay next year.

We were looking for a small, quiet, family run campsite for a relaxing holiday and the reviews for this campsite were exceptional. However, during our stay all the static caravans + numerous tents had been taken by a huge group of extremely rowdy revellers and the noise every night was unbearable. The showers, although hotel standard clean, were unpredictable to say the least. Hedges around the pitches gave privacy but completely blocked stunning scenery which was a real shame. We paid for electric hook up but our extension cable wasn't long enough so had to manage without. Amenities nearby were great, especially nearby surfing beaches, Tintagel and Boscastle are unmissable and ideally situated for exploring more of Cornwall and North Devon.Owners friendly and approachable but need to address noise and large group bookings. Small shop and post office available for all essentials, playground popular with children.

We love this campsite having been visiting it for over 18 years. There are new owners who have made little but significant changes already making the site a peaceful and friendly family site.
The play area is great for all ages of children, the toilets and shower block is one of the cleanest we have experienced and hot water always available in the washing area.
If you like little sites with no entertainment other than other campers, fresh local produce to purchase and beautiful beaches only 5 minutes drive away and plenty of local pubs offering good grub give this site a try.
