This is a really nice site with great views.
Toilet and shower block dated but spotless, only 2 showers but never had to wait. Showers where only slightly warm so a temp gauge would be helpful, and duck boards for getting dried off.
We paid £20 per night which I thought was a bit expensive as there is nothing on the site.
Only 5 mins walk into Hawes nice village with 3 doggy friendly pubs, all serving good food.
Try the curry cabin have to take your own beer/wine as they have no alcohol licence, or if you forget nip into pub next door.
Lots of nice walks in the area.

We stayed here for a weekend and could not fault this site one little bit from the moment of booking. Prompt replies from the new owners Malcolm and Michelle and nothing was too much trouble for them. Pitch had great views.
Extremely clean and tidy site with spotlessly clean facilities that seemed to be newly decorated. Less than a 5 minute walk into Hawes (plenty of places to eat, pubs and shops).
We would not hesitate to recommend this site and will certainly return on future visits.

Heated bathroom - fab - really clean, although toilet locks are the old fashioned little push across and click in place type - little ones could get stuck! Nice area - nice owners. Hawes is a busy town - pubs didn't look that inviting to be honest so we didn't go in any. Chipshop was shut on Saturday afternoon. Plenty of walks and you can visit the Wensleydale cheese factory.

My wife and I stayed at this site for a weekend, having been away from caravanning for 20 years. This site is excellent for the first-time caravanner as well as the more experienced. The toilet block was perfectly clean, and the showers were free. We did not need the showers as our caravan was already equipped with one, but they did appear to be very good. The owners of the site were very friendly, and very helpful too. We will be going back very soon, and we would recommend the site to all caravanners.

Just had a fantastic 2 night stay at this marvellous site. Our first outing with this caravan gave us a few problems but Kelvin and his wife were brilliant, friendly and very very helpful. The showers and toilet block were heated and immaculate at all times even though the sight was full. A short walk into Hawes which is a beautiful little town very popular with the bikers. Everybody very friendly and the dog was accepted in most shops and pubs. Ideal for the dog walking beautiful scenery from the site itself and all around. We will definitely be going back. Everybody on site had time for each other and it made for a great weekend. Just the right size of site for us.

Just got back from a brilliant two night stay at Honeycott. The facilities were great with fantastic views, and a heated, very clean toilet and shower block. Each pitch has its own hard standing and all are within a nice distance from the services block. The owners were very pleasant and everyone on the site was very friendly. There are plenty of places to eat in Hawes, the Indian just down the side of The Fountain pub was excellent and the fish and chip cafe was also good. There are plenty of walks around the area with options for as easy or as difficult as you desire.

What a fantastic camp site. Beautiful scenery, 10 minutes walk from Hawes. Very quiet and very very clean facilities. Hook up and a level area for everyone, just a bit of a slope into the Camp. Older people and younger ones with children all seemed to enjoy themselves. What more can I say. Perfection.

What fabulous views from this site. The owners were friendly and we were given a hard standing for our motorhome which included hook-up, water and waste drain. This would have been fine for a caravan but as we have a large tank we had a problem filling up and disposing due to the position of the tap and drainage. No Motorhome Waste disposal but there was a chemical waste. Toilet block was of the older type but was well maintained and heated which was great. The weather was quite changeable whilst we were there. 5 mins to the town of Hawes which on Tuesdays is market day.Lots to do here - Dales Countryside Museum, Ropemaking, Wensleydale Cheese factory, and wonderful walking. We caught the local bus to Hawdraw to see the waterfall and walked back to the village using one of the many pathways. Lots of pubs, hotels and eating places and a marvellous area to explore.

Beautiful peaceful site, great location and views, friendly owners, immaculate facilities. What more could you want? The site was beautifully maintained and only a five minute walk from the lovely village of Hawes, with lots of places to eat and drink. Plenty of great walks on your doorstep but nice enough to just sit and relax.

September 2005 Well cared for, attractive site with spotless facilities - and plenty of hot water for a shower. Only about 18 or so touring pitches and all of them serviced. 10 minutes walk from Hawes, which has loads of pubs, some dog-friendly, and restaurants and within easy driving distance of all the other Dales towns - or Lakes if you wanted to go a bit further afield. Excellent base for walking. Beautiful - definitely on the agenda for next year.
