Really enjoyed our two night stay at Honeycott and exploring Hawes. Many of the pitches are all gravel but we were able to peg in our awning no problem. The views from the site are great and the layout enables good views from all pitches. The toilet showers and dishwash facilities are all really good.
Hawes itself it a working town about 15 minutes walk from the site a good range of pubs shops and cafes. We had a lovely walk across the meadows to a village pub and waterfall.
Would definitely visit again.

A really good site. Facilities are excellent. Toilets regularly cleaned. Good location for the village. A brilliant place for walkers and cyclists. The site has a a steep entrance but pitches are all sound. Would stay again. Owners friendly and helpful.

Lovely caravan site just a 10mins walk from the beautiful town of hawes. Some reviews have been saying it's not good as it's a steep bank in and out its not bad if you are a steady driver and take into consideration you are in the Yorkshire dales. The views are fantastic the toilets showers etc are very clean the site is well maintained. The owners are fantastic and helpful we ran out of gas so they lent us an electric kettle to have a cuppa it might sound trivial but they offered and asked if we needed anything else just ask very friendly. Thank you for a great stay

Can only repeat what most review says, we really enjoyed this one although only there for one day & night. Plus the grass cuttings were picked up as they cut the grass which saved the annoying clods of cut grass being brought into the camper, lots of info on display & given out on arrival spotlessly clean & staff very helpful (same as the other seven sites we used on this trip).
The only downer I found is the entrance, to get out you have to go around the toilet block which is fine if nobody pulls up at the gate as your about to exit (it is a really steep uphill out) but I just went around the loos again while the other one moved off got into second & up the hill no probs. Cost was £22 for the night which for one of the best sites we stayed on, more than happy to go back again.

Cracking little site. Spotlessly clean toilets and showers with plenty of hot water. Hard gravel pitches with water, electric and waste point. Pitches all very close to toilet block. Good location, just far enough away from town and some great views from site. Took about 10 minutes walking into Hawes, maybe a little bit longer coming back as uphill and would certainly recommend carrying a torch if you're planning to walk into town in the dark as street lighting does not extend that far out. Our pitch was other side of wall from road and a little bit traffic noise but nothing too much, only really noticed it in the morning, hardly anything at night. Sounds of birds chirping outside more than made up for any traffic noise. There are quite a few statics and seasonals but hardly saw anyone though it was only beginning of season but wouldn't stop us coming back. All in all a very pleasant site with a very helpful and friendly site warden. Hawes itself is lovely with plenty cafes, bars, shops, etc. Check out the Wensleydale Creamery, if you like cheese it's well worth a visit.

Stayed one night as we wanted to visit Hawes. The site while small is quiet but all that is required of a comfortable stay. The pitch we were given was flat with gravel hard standing. We had a water tap next to the electric outlet and overall it was more than we expected after arriving without booking. The toilet block was very clean warm and had a really good shower, what more can you want?
Only a short walk across the fields following a footpath or along the road with a footpath most of the way and only 15 mins into Hawes. We had a nice meal in the Crown Hotel.
Definitely return here if we come this way again.
Not a site for kids but the walk to the creamery was fun over the fields and stiles.

We stayed 2 nights while touring the north of England. The day before we had a helpful phone call from the site warden to give us an entry code as we were arriving on Sunday when there would not be anyone on duty. This system worked really well for us.
This quiet site has superb views over the Yorkshire Dales and is in a stunning location about 10 minutes walk into Hawes.
The toilet/shower block were spotless and the site as a whole was clean and well managed by friendly wardens.
This site is a great place to stay as a base for the Yorkshire Dales - loads of walks. Don't miss out on visiting the Wensleydale Creamery - a really fun place to go.
Without hesitation, we would use this place again if we were in the area.

Looked at the web-site before booking. On arrival it is obvious the web-site needs serious updating. All photos are out of date. The site is now mostly static vans (27). There are now only 13 touring pitches but 7 of these are seasonal bookings. Each pitch is very hard standing. The pitches are also quite small. You have a choice, caravan/awning or caravan/car. Nowhere to park your car if you put up the awning. The site is also almost at the top of a very steep hill leading out of the town. While you are keying in the code for the entrance gate your van is sticking out into the road just below the brow of the hill and the traffic is not very slow either up or down the hill. Also, the site road is very steep downwards from the road. I nearly did not make it out of the park up the hill. Burning clutches don't smell very nice. The toilet/shower facilities are very good. With a possible max. Of 26 people using them, no queueing. Each pitch is no more than 25 yds from it. Had them almost to ourselves. Staff very friendly. Short, but steep, walk to town which is good as there are no shopping facilities on site. Good pubs and shopping in the town. Would possibly use site again.

Visited this site at Bank Holiday. Not an ideal site if you like to sitout and have barbeques. The site is brilliantly placed for a short walk into town.
Toilets are fine and very clean. All pitches are fully serviced. Good value for money.
Great pubs in Hawes and you can take your dog into most places, pubs cafe, shop. Excellent fish and chip shop. Do walk to Hardraw force 1. 5miles from Hawes. Waterfall is accessed through a very old and brill pub. We had a good Sunday lunch here.

A great little site on the Ingleton Road in Hawes, which we absolutely loved and will definitely be returning to if we go back to Hawes.
The site is just a five minute walk down a hill to the main street (would recommend a torch for after dark due to no lighting on the road back up to the site).
Hawes itself is fantastic, great pubs, great shops and amazing walks (recommend you go to Hardraw falls about 1. 5 mile walk)
There are approximately 15 touring pitches but many seem to be seasonal. The site seemed fairly quiet, which meant we never experienced noise nor ever had to wait for any of the facilities at all.
Facilities were impeccably clean. Showers were free and with the best water pressure I have ever had the fortune to experience at a caravan site!
All touring pitches have own EHU, Water and drainage which is a real bonus for the price per night. Check in was really friendly and easy, especially as we were running late over the 5pm reception close time. This was no issue.
Id say this site is great for adults but given there isn't a playground, you may struggle with the kids unless you take things for them to play with. Would absolutely recommend for couples.
My only watch out for this site is the entrance. The entrance is exceptionally steep and quite narrow. No real issue getting in but you may have a struggle getting back up dependant on your outfit. I drive a Mercedes C220, which with its traction control on in the wet, really struggled! Would recommend traction control off, stay in first and keep it rolling with as much momentum as you can muster!
Apart from that brilliant site!
