We booked this site for a stop over to Cornwall from our home in the midlands. We stayed in May and July. It is quite an easy location to find off the M5 even so traffic noise is negliable.
Due to traffic we were late on arrival but the owners kept in contact with us to ensure that things were ok. On arrival we were met with a friendly smile and a fabulous information pack.
The overnight pitches were enormous and flat. They are close to the shower and toilets.
There is also a dog walking area where dogs can be let off with the added touch of poo bags supplied.
We were twice there this year and will be booking for our trips next year. As others have said they have a farm shop etc but we did not use them due to only staying overnight.

A very warm welcome on arrival and shown to a very good sized pitch offering privacy with hedging surrounding. Water tap between 2 pitches and recycling box ( emptied daily) on pitch too.
Essentially this campsite is a very well maintained enormous field with pitches all round the perimeter.
The showers and toilets were good and clean. 4 loos and 4 showers in female so guess similar in male. Lovely hot water on push button system. Basins but no individual cubicles.
It’s quite a hike across the field to the facilities if you are pitched on the far side. Also there is a small reception and shop selling essentials, It is a working farm but we only saw 2 ducks! There is nothing to do on this site apart from relax.
There is no play area as such for children apart from a huge green space! You can hear the hum of the M5 in the distance but this was in no way disturbing.
The approach road can be narrow in places and the village itself has one car / lorry width in places. The is a small co op in the village and a Morrison’s a 5 minute drive away.
I would recommend this site if you like quiet and want a base for visiting Somerset and surrounding areas.

Found this caravan park by accident on the WWW. Pleasantly surprised by the layout.
Staff VERY friendly and helpful. Small shop on site selling amongst other things, fresh fruit and veg.
Will certainly visit again.
No wifi as the area is in a 'dip'!

We found this site last year as a stop off on the way home from Cornwall. And what a find. We stayed here again this time and were very relieved that it was exactly as we remembered.
We received an email mail from them before we left home with a price list for fresh meat and bakery goods. I ordered some sausages, bacon and bread rolls (all of which were delicious).
When we arrived we were shown to our very spacious fully serviced pitch and the lady said they would bring my goods to the pitch for me. We were almost set up when she came with them on the golf buggy, I paid by card and job done.
There were a couple of tents together with children and they were playing ball games in the centre of the field (there's lots of room) it was a lovely site took us back to what camping used to be.
The facilities are very nice, lovely and clean (they weren't open last year). Each pitch has a large plastic box at the end for all your recycling which is emptied every day.
The general waste bins are situated near the elsan and grey waste point. There are also bins for food waste which is a great idea. The staff are brilliant and can't do enough for you.
The local village of Banwell is a short walk away with a convenience store, a fish and chip shop and a co-op store. There's a large morrisons supermarket and fuel station not far away for all your supplies.
Cheddar village with the gorge and lots of other attractions is only about 7 miles away and well worth a visit. Weston super mare is about the same but we went there last year and apart from a lovely promenade walk (the parking charges were extortionate) I wasn't overly impressed but that's a personal choice.
There is a £10 deposit for the gate fob and prepayment of £2.50 per night for your electric these are paid upfront but when you leave any unused electricity and fob money is refunded to your card.
All in all its a lovely peaceful site with fantastic views and we highly recommend it.

Must reiterate previous reviews and say what a lovely site.
Lots of space for the children to run around, play and make friends.
Toilet facilities clean and never over crowded.
Toys for general use in information hut. Also received a small bag with dominoes, puzzle book and site information,
While there we visited Wookey Hole, Bristol Zoo, Brean Leisure Park and Weston Super Mare all within easy access

A very tranquil and relaxing location with large pitches and plenty of space for the children to be children. The toilets and amenities were always clean and have everything supplied including a shared fridge freezer for storage of additional food and freezing of ice packs with no extra charge.
We had a beautiful holiday and the ladies that run the site are very helpful and can’t do enough to help including finding time to chat with the children about the farm even though they were incredibly busy nothing was too much hassle.
The emails received from the site prior to arrival were very informative and made you feel they were just as excited for your arrival as you are. The local produce they supply is perfect and very well priced.
We cannot wait to return very soon.
Many thanks The Webb family

Stonebridge is a lovely site, , we received a friendly welcome and were shown to our pitch and given information on the facilities.
The electric hookup is prepaid and you can top up if needed or any left when you leave is promptly refunded (same day) along with the deposit for the entrance barrier card.
The toilets facilities are warm and clean, men and women have four toilets and four push button showers which were a comfortable temperature and good pressure.
There are two dishwashing -up sinks provided. Across from the toilet block there is the waste disposal and bins. Also here is an information hut on places to visit, games and toys, books and jigsaws to borrow. There is a recycling box provided for each pitch which is collected daily. A small shop with essentials and fresh provisions is located near the entrance and was well stocked.
The spacious pitches are level and are sited around the outside of a large field with more pitches in a smaller field near the road. Although there isn't a play area for children, there is loads of space for ball games and for freedom to play.
Some pitches have hedging to separate them and a few are adult only pitches.
We really enjoyed our stay here, loved the peace and quiet. We walked across a couple of fields on the public footpath into the village of Banwell for a drink sat outside of a local pub a couple of evenings. We visited the SS Great Britain in Bristol which was well worth seeing.
Weston super Mare is a short drive away as is Clevedon and Portishead marina. Lots of other places to visit in the area but we only live an hour away so have already visited most before and this was a chill out, no rushing around break for us.
The owners of this campsite make you feel very welcome and for a short, near to home break we will certainly plan to return and cannot recommend it enough.

Good barrier entrance and exit. We were met on the drive and given our fob for which we'd already paid along with prepaid electric and welcome pack in a useful cloth shoulder bag.
We were shown to our pitch by staff in a golf buggy. It was a very spacious fully serviced pitch with separation from others by hedging, each pitch has a recycling box which is emptied every day.
Cannot comment on facilities as due to covid19 we used our on board shower and wc, but recycling including food waste and the information hut was excellent.
Its about a 15 minute walk into Banwell, through 2 fields, which has a fish and chip shop and small convenience store. Apparently there's also a pub and co-op store neither of which we saw. Its about 15 minute drive into Weston-super-Mare which has a pleasant promenade to walk along though at £6 for 4 hours parking I found to be extortionate.
The village of Cheddar was 20 minutes away and a delightful place to visit with more reasonable parking charges.
The site has a small shop and all of the staff are very helpful and friendly. We prepaid £10 for the fob and £7. 50 for 3 days electricity. When we left we were promised the fob money and unused electricity which was £4. 11 (which made our stay very, very good value for money) would be refunded to my card which was duly done that same day.
Only gave child friendliness 1/10 as didn't have any with us so couldn't really comment.
It was a fabulous stay (although excellent weather helped) and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend the site.

We only used the site for a stopover but was glad we chose it. The ladies running it are very helpful and friendly.
They have very clean toilets and showers although the showers was out of bounds due to the present situation (COVID-19) the area where we stayed was very well kept.
They have a well stocked little shop with everything you need. There is a bigger field for longer stays (when I say bigger I mean massive) your only about 15 mins drive away from western super mare and 5 mins away from M5 junction 21 there is a supermarket close by (MORRISONS)
All in all it’s a great site we will definitely use again and hopefully stay a little longer
Many thanks to all involved in running. The site
