Drive in past the statics up a slight slope, turn left around the one way and there's a static caravan with a lizard on the wall. If no one is there, pick a pitch and they will find you. Maybe even the next day!
We have stayed in a tourer on this site in all weathers on and off since 2004. Yes the toilets are out-dated but clean, and the park is crap but the location is spot on for all.
You have the Gallopping Major with excellent food and wonderful customer service across the by pass (bottle of wine £7. 50)serving food 7 days a week (01834843505). A steak house is near by if you are desperate, cheap sizzlers but expensive drink and no atmosphere. BBs on Broadfield farm is also around the corner and does good food with cheap house wine.
There is a rather pricey Londis at the entrance that is open from 7 till 9 but it does a wonderful bacon roll & coffe for 1. 99. Bus stops are at the gate either way and take you to Sanudersfoot and Tenby in 10 mins - 3 an hour.
On top of this, the coastal path is a 10 min walk behind the site. The site managers are friendly, wonderful people and there is loads of organic fresh veg and eggs on site for a pound or so. The main caravan field now has a road and doesn't get boggy.
Walking distance to Tenby, Saundersfoot 25 mins. I highly recommend Lodge farm although few new park things for the kids would make it perfect.
Clean, friendly & secure site with eyes everywhere for the kids. Deputy manager near the gate and main man Steve by the toilets make it a safe, child friendly site.

If your looking for a very basic camp site then this is the place camped here with my 8 year old showers and toilets kept clean
Plenty of hot water for dishes and showers
Park is only 2 swings for older children not toddlers and a see saw
table top freezer for ice packs free when a lot are camping not much room
Dryers 60p and washer 2. 50
Beach near site don't bother went through woods have you almost have to abseil down to the beach which was shingle
Wisemans bridge great place to eat near saundersfoot. Must book.

Just got back from this site stayed for a week, we had a lovely time the site was clean and tidy bins were emptied about 3 times a day,it was also close to local shop and steak house.
When booking in no-one was in reception so had to go and look for someone to book in, but when we found them they were very helpful.
Yes the toilet block was outdated but whenever I went in them they were clean.
I did find it expensive as paid £8 per adult and £2 per child (children are classed as 14 and under)a night.
The bus stops are close and convenient and so much easier than parking in either tenby or saundersfoot.
Would visit this site in future only if I didn't have children with me as they are over 14 now.

This site is a lovely peaceful, pleasant, and is well situated for both Tenby and Saundersfoot.
The playground is rather small consisting of only a swing and a see-saw, however there is a larger park within walking distance of the site.
The toilet block although dated is always spotlessly clean and the water was always hot. What more could you ask for.
There is a well stocked and reasonably price shop just off the campsite, with a bar/restaurant also within walking distance. Will definitely visit again.

We stayed here for 3 nights in july 2010 in a touring caravan with my wife and 2 daughters. The toilets and showers are poor and 3 out of the four toilets were broke for most of the day.
There is no bar or games room on site and the playground is an old see saw and swing. Outside the site there is a londis shop which stocks everything you need and a pub which does cheap sizzler's also there is a bus stop that takes you into tenby town in about 8 mins.
We stayed in the sea view field which had amazing views so try and get in there if you can, the other field is one big field a bit uneven and marshy.
The site has great potential and could be a lot better with some time and investment. You can get boat trips, fishing, kayacks, jet ski all from the harbour in tenby and a trip to caldey island where the monks live.

This campsite could be absolutely lovely as it has a great location, with an excellent Londis opposite entrance which caters for just about everything, and a pub which serves nice food next to the Londis.
Feel loathe to give negative review but toilet block does need money spending on it. Was £14 a night for two people in tent without hookup.
Children on site enjoyed animals.
We have stayed here because of location several times in past, but not sure if we will go again unless it improves.

It was our second visit there. We paid £18 for myself, my wife and our two kids to stay in a small tent per night. (My sister in law was in a much bigger tent, but paid the same). We were in the 'first' field this time, which contains tourers in the middle and tents along the hedge in an 'L' shape. The field was nice and flat, there was plenty of room.
The noise level was very low (luck of the draw), but seeing as there were a lot of tourers, the sound was a lot less than a field full of tents. You did get a bit of ambient road noise etc though.
They have a mini-farm there that the kids loved: two pigs, two sheep, two goats and two rabbits by the toilet block. Facilities: the tiolet/shower block wash-up facilities really are basic - two wash-up sinks, the men's had three showers, 3/4 cubicle toilets and a urinal.
They looked pretty 1980's and there were some broken locks/mold/cracked tiles. It depends how fussy you are I suppose. I was comparing them with Trefayne where we had just been, where the facilities are a 4* compared to Lodge farm's 2* (same price!)
The location is ace - 5 mins walk to Londis and local pub (New Hedges). 5 mins in the car to Tenby (prob 15 min walk). The site itself was clean, taps everywhere, plenty of bins. Only one glass bin (I saw) for recycling - please do more Lodge Farm!
The park was prehistoric and really basic and looked home made. The swings were a bit wobbly and even the 'use the park at your own risk' sign had faded and was unreadable. I personally feel that more money could be injected into improving the facilities and park. Otherwise highly recommended! I will return.

Arrived mid-day and spent a lot of time looking for someone to book us in. Admittedly the weather was damp but, the sight of a 4x4 being towed up the steep field was a bit alarming!
The field had a few tents with plenty of space available. I was surprised, that given the available space, we were told to pich closely inbetween two other tents.
The toilet block was ha huge disappointment. Extremely cramped with barely adequate facilities. Two of the toilets were blocked and the shower units were of a domestic variety, (hardly suited to camping use).
All in all, given its' prime location between Tenby & Saundersfoot, I was expecting something much better.

Positives:
Convenient for Tenby with bus stop & corner store outside main entrance. Friendly manager. Full of wild life. Lots of space.
Negs: Showers poor - a resident said that they had just been refurbished? Rowdy campers. Marshy site, field muddy & boggy with trench marks right up field. Electric tripped with a toaster.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lodge Farm. The facilities are very basic, but functional. The toilet and shower block - though dated - was clean. The view from our plot was spectacular.
The site had a very good feel to it, and I loved the chicken and the cockerel roaming about. It was a very peaceful site, though we did go during school term time.
Lovely family site, with good local amenities, and two very good seaside towns very close by. Coastal path very challenging, but the climb down (and back up) to Monkstone beach is worth every aching muscle.
Will definitely go back time and time again
