Just back today from park. Lovely views. Staff were really helpful especially the owners and all staff. Caravan spotless. Shower and toilet clean. Enjoyed a lovely 4 day break. Will let family and friends know about site. Thanks to all staff. Scenery excellent. Everything in caravan that you need. A nice play area for children and beach a stones throw away from caravan. Really a wonderful site.

Just back from a relaxing weekend at Loch Lomond Holiday Park. We had a really great pitch next to the Loch and play park with a beautiful view. Very peaceful site and great facilities.
The toilet and showers are at the rear of the reception building and this also has a spacious lounge area with pool tables, SKY TV and free use of a computer with internet access, for when the weather is not so great.
The showers were lovely and hot and plenty of room for changing, also nice and clean. In the morning there were ducks to feed and the kids loved the playpark once they were wrapped up cosy in warm layers and waterproofs.
We were the only tourers but due to the location of the pitches we didn't feel out of place surrounded by statics.
Would definitely go back and recommend the all service pitches just for their stunning location.

What a fantastic site, we had a lovely view over the loch. Midges out in force but no where as bad as the camp site we stayed at in Luss.
Didn't use the showers but loos very clean, but no toilet paper, chap in shop wasn't keen on getting any until I told him I was in desperate need then he went to get some.
Internet was down as someone had crashed the computer and had to wait for someone to come and fix it. Not a problem as we could get a good 3G signal here, from the 3 network. So could use the laptop.
A couple of days before we where due to leave the wife was out in the transit van and she blown the head gasket, owners where very helpful and let us keep the van to one side and when it was time to leave, they showed the recovery team down to us
Just one small problem the first turn as we left the site is very very tight and the rescue lorry tail end went through the caravans front panel as it tried to make the turn. Before a very steep up hill climb out, (Don't come here with a car that can only just manage to pull your rig you will need a strong car to pull a large rig up this clutch burning hill, rescue lorry had a 5lt engine and it struggled, mind you it did have a transit van on the back and pulling the caravan as well),
Staff stopped traffic on the road so as the articulated size of rig could make the turn out on to the main road.
Would I return?. YES
Would I recommend to a friend. Yes

Absolutely stunning site. Very friendly and helpful staff, shop well stocked. Toilets immaculate. Showers are electric so always hot water.
We had a great view of the loch/play park from our site.
Very quiet, relaxing break. We were actually the only van there all weekend.
Play park is great for the kids, wooden adventure type
The grounds are kept immaculate too, gardener was out cutting the grass, even though it didn’t particularly need doing.
The pitches themselves are fairly neat, so if you were putting an awning up (we didn’t), you'd defo need to park you car at the reception car park.
On that note, it was slightly challenging getting the van in and out of the pitch due to the lack of room for manoeuvrability. But was a minor issue for us
Will be back

One night stop over - site as said before right on the edge of the loch and great views.
Facilities all very clean - site well kept, however have to say £24 is the most we paid anywhere in Scotland in 3 weeks - a good site but fairly overpriced, which may be the reason the other sites we tried on the loch were full but this site had only 4 tourers.
The site shop sells the basics. The site is fairly quiet considering its closeness to the main road - we weren't bothered by road noise at all.
Its a really nice site, conveniently placed on the loch - but its over priced on our opinion compared to other sites in the area.

What a fantastic site, one of the best we've visited. We stayed for a week an even without booking in advance we were given a prime position facing the loch shore (less than 50 foot, opposite two small beaches and an excellent children's playground, complete with picnic table and jetty. The campsite is very well laid out and spacious, with the option of hook up or a fully serviced pitch complete with waste water drainage and fresh water. This was an extra £2 per night. We have a 29 foot campervan and managed to park it (OK, maybe a foot stuck out) and our car on the pitch. I think it would be hard to get a 30 footer in, though. The facilities are excellent, with a TV (with Sky) and games room with two pool tables (50p per game)which is ideal for rainy days. The toilets are kept immaculate, the showers are free and very good, and there is a shop selling the basics. The laundry is in a separate area and is fairly pricey at £2.20 per wash but £1 gives you 38 minutes in the tumble dryer. The staff are welcoming and helpful, there is boat hire. This place almost has it all. The only drawbacks for us were no WiFi, though at Ben Arthurs Bothy in nearby there is not only a superb view of Loch Long, but excellent cheap food & drink and free, fast WiFi. The nearest amenities are also in Arrochar (cashpoint, corner shops) some 4 miles distant and the road is very busy (and often flooded off season) so this is NOT walkable. The nearest big supermarket is the Co-op in Ballock, some 20 miles away so its best to come prepared and stocked up in advance. The prices weren't the cheapest; we paid £22 per night but for the location, views and centrality it IS worth it. From here you can explore not only Loch Lomond but the Trossachs with plenty of walking, but Oban, Loch Awe, Glen Coe and Fort William. These are all within about 40 miles drive. An almost perfect place, but please get some WiFi!

Stayed here for one night going north and another night coming back home so two nights in all. This is a lovely site and the hardstanding pitch we were allocated to was wonderful. We had water, waste and electricity all at our pitch which made life very easy. We overlooked the loch and the children's play area. The views were fabulous over the loch.
There is plenty for the younger ones on this site with a great children's play area and a club room for older ones with pool table and large TV and all kitted out lovely.
Great hot showers and clean toilets. A walk round the site reveals large static caravans and log cabins all tastefully surrounded by nice gardens and some of the log cabins looked very luxurious with decks with hot tubs, as I looked on with envy.
There is a nice walk through the woods next to the loch and the caravan site is well placed for exploring the beautiful surrounding area. I would recommend this site and only wished we had more time to stay, however will be back for a longer stay next time.

This for me was the best site in the west of Scotland. We were overlooking the loch, with a wonderful children's play area in easy view. The club house was fab in that it has sky tv and pool tables at 50p a go, so you could take a glass of wine, kids watched Disney channel and you could have a game of pool, or sit down as a family once it got dark and watch a film, as the tv reception was poor. The showers were clean, hot and powerful. The staff were helpful, and the site was clean. Would recommend avons skin so soft (blue) for the midges, it was the only thing that worked, and the locals recommend it.

Beautiful and clean site with lovely views. There is a play area and boat launching. The shower block was faultless and the staff were very nice. There is a shop which sells basics. This site has some very good statics and is more suitable for motorhomes than touring caravans as pitches were short and narrow with no room for an awning and the car. We had to back our caravan up the drive to get out. It rained all the time we were there and you have to drive quite a way to sight see. There is a dog walk through the woods which would be very nice in the dry but it is right next to the main road so dogs need to stay on lead. Beware the A82 alongside there are some tight corners and big lorries and deep potholes!

Fabulous location - our pitch, whilst not on the immediate lochside had amazing views. This is a lovely site which would provide an excellent base for touring around.
Staff were really helpful - especially when we had a flat tyre! Shop on site sells daily papers as well as food (fresh and tinned). There are pubs and restaurants in the local area and also lots of water sports. But this location is also very tranquil.
Can't fault this site - would love to return as it was great.
