We can only re-iterate what others have said - this is a lovely small site with absolutely stunning views including one of the best views from a kids playground anywhere. There's not too many touring pitches and they're thoughtfully laid out, which gives the site a certain intimacy. The view from our van was out over the loch, and to people launching their boats from the site's own small jetty. There's a small beach of sorts which our boys loved playing on, feeding the ducks etc.
The showers and loos were spotless and there was no noticeable road noise that users of some of the other sites adjacent to Loch Lomond have noted - only the distant sound of a passing train every few hours. Also the site has an excellent well stocked shop and very friendly and helpful staff. In summary, we'd absolutely recommend staying here.

This is a cracking campsite: beautifully located, well staffed and offering good facilities. We arrived at 6pm and were lucky to get the last available pitch. The site is right on the shore of Loch Lomond and the views are stunning in all directions. Several forest and high level walks are available in the area and the mountain scenery won't disappoint. The site is quite isolated and you have to travel for pubs and shops, but the location of the park makes up for this. On site there is well maintained facilities, a TV room with Sky TV, a well stocked shop and boat launching facilities, so there is little need to venture far from the site. A cracking site, highly recommended!

Drove straight to Loch lomond from worcestershire and found this site on the of chance as most of the laybys had been taken, arrived at about 6.40pm, 20 minutes before reception closed, but they were great and booked us in to a pitch overlooking the small play area and the loch. WHAT A VIEW! The toilets and showers were accessed via a key similar to those you get in posh hotels, superb clean and included in your pitch fee. The motorhome pitches were all hard standing with hook up and tv Aeriel socket (although this was not needed picture was great, they are also tiered so everyone gets the view. Loved it and would have stayed longer than one night, but only had 2 weeks to do 2,500 miles time is of the essence.

What a stunning view from our loch side pitch, the loch was yards away with jetty and play area we could see from our motor home. The club house was great for the children when the weather turned. The shop was very well stocked and all staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a site we will be visiting again, it was wonderful.

Difficult to rate this site - if you like watersports then probably the place to be. Mainly caters for statics and only pitches recommended would be those opposite play area, fully serviced. This is because the other pitches are small leaving little room to sit out if you have an awning. Pitch we had was really for motorhome as not even enough room to back it in. On the whole shop is well stocked, toilet block clean and games room. Kids found it difficult to ride bikes although having bought them dinghy very happy! Its picturesque, clean and watersports enthusiasts would love it - but not for us.

August 2003 Wow!! what a site, situated on the bank of Loch Lomond our pitch was yards away from it, there was man made beaches for the kids as well as a playground. A boat jetty, club house with satellite, lovely shower facilities, good well stocked shop, laundry facilities too. I'd recommend this site to anyone, young or old.
