We had a quiet night, but would not return to this site, it’s a mess. Absolutely no signage of where things are and it looks rough.

Obviously people live there all the time and run businesses from there as well. Parts of it look like a scrap yard.

The A6 runs along side it as well so bit noisy at rush hour.

On plus side a lovely pub about ten minutes walk away down the towpath

Toilets so clean! I was worried when reading other reviews but they’re absolutely fine.

We had the best time with a whole field to ourselves.

Price is great and if you’re wanting to be left on your own it’s perfect.

Myself, my partner we’re really looking forward to a nice relaxing long bank holiday weekend.

This was far from what we wanted!

The site was horrendous! Would not recommend to anyone!

The whole place is just very odd! No kind of security, had no idea where to check in, when I eventually did find someone they didn’t check anything!

Took us half an hour to find a electric hook up which was an absolute waste of money, did not work!

The toilets / showers / washing up area were disgusting! NO lights! NO loo roll! NO soap! I totally get that a camp site is not going to be glam however you expect the essentials especially with COVID! luckily I took my own loo roll!

There was rubbish EVERYWHERE! It was a DUMP!

The nicest part was sitting in our tent with our own things and our own company!

We never slept the whole night! So roudy! Massive group of 30-40 at top of the field who were shouting running about, screaming! We had a couple of men next to us in a caravan running about. When this all started to settle down around 2. 30am, loads of building site works started (chucking Metal) for at-least an hour and half!

We booked for 2 nights, woke up the 1st morning around 7. 30 after 2 hours sleep packed up and left! We couldn’t do it any longer!

We didn’t want to ruin our whole weekend!

Just such a shame this place has the potential to be such a beautiful place!

This campsite is everything you want from camping in a tent, it’s real camping. Pick a spot in the vast site which is located on the river soar and your away, beautiful surroundings as you are on the edge of the river soar, amenities are sound, pubs serving food a stones throw away.

You can loose yourselves for a weekend at this site without even leaving the site. Brilliant in my opinion 👍🏻

How on earth is this given a licence to operate, it is like staying on a car breakers yard. Cannot find one single good point to say about it.

One night is to long.

This "field" I won't call it a site, was the worst I've been on in over 30years of caravanning. In fact if it wasn't for upsetting our 2 young grandchildren, we would have forfeited the £66 we had paid and turned around and gone straight back home !

It was filthy with no drainage so it flooded as soon as it rained, the toilet blocks were filthy and smelt, it was strewn with abandoned caravans cars and trucks, in fact it very much resembled breakers yard.

One to definitely avoid !

What a dump. There was no hot water, no toilet rolls, people smoking in the toilets. I asked about disabled facilities, there were none.

The site is scattered with dilapidated caravans, cars, construction machinery and portable toilets. The photo used on the website is for the canal not the campsite.

We were booked for three nights and one was too many. You have to pay in advance and there are no refunds

My advice is DO NOT GO THERE

Well we entered and we left. Very unusual set up. There are what looks like abandoned, lived in, unloved and visiting caravans EVERYWHERE and no order whatsoever! There are no pitches marked out and we found it all very bizarre!

This is not a place we wanted to stay in especially with our small child. Granted you can drive through to the other side and have a whole field pretty much to yourself BUT you have a hike to the toilets. I didn’t even look at the facilities because we just wanted to get out of there!

DO NOT GO TO THIS SITE! I booked this site because the photos on line looked idyllic. How wrong was I! It was more like a caravan graveyard. After pulling onto the site and being told we could pitch up anywhere by the club house, we proceeded into the depths of what looked like nothing had moved for 50 years!

Firstly we couldn’t find a decent pitch that was either flat ground with cut grass and secondly the so called club house was not fit for chickens let alone people!

And don’t get me started on the toilets and shower facilities 🤬😩🤬😩I think you’d need injections to shower in them🙈 We were absolutely shocked that this place was being advertised as proctors PLEASURE park??????

There was absolutely nothing pleasurable about this park! Luckily we were able to book onto another site that day and get our money back.

This place should be closed down. Disgusting! Such a shame. I would give the site 0 out of 10 but it won’t let me go below 1
