We had a lovely relaxing stay here. Nicely spaced plots and site is kept immaculate. Lin and Graham have obviously put a lot of hard work into developing the site, a lovely friendly couple who couldn't be more helpful.
There are no toilets or showers but this wasn't an issue for us being self contained and the cost of a pitch was very reasonable. The business model works very well.
We cycled up to Naburn and a had a look round the marina and then joined the cycle path which takes you all the way into York.
The Proctors
We will definitely be back next year.

We have just spent 3 very enjoyable nights at the Bungalow Caravan site.
It's a beautiful, extremely well kept site. Pitches are large and flat. The owners Lin and Graham are lovely and go that extra mile to make you feel welcome and comfortable.
As soon as a caravan departs Lin is out cutting the grass and making sure the pitch is ready for the next caravan. Lin very kindly brought us some homemade fruit scones once we were settled. Thank you Lin.
There is some road noise but it didn't bother us at all.
We will definitely be returning to this little gem.

Lovely site run by lovely people.
Lin and Graham give the best reception on arrival we have experienced, scones as well.
Lovely walk into / through the woods to Stillington, they also recommended the cafe in the village, cake was to die for.
If they decide to build a washrooms it would make a very good site excellent.
Buses run into York from outside the site.
We would definitely go back.

What a really nice site with spacious pitches v
Ery well kept by the friendly owners Lin and Graham who will welcome you with some lovely scones.
Nice touch was a message the night before to confirm pitch number etc.
The bonus is a bus stop right outside where you can get a bus straight into the centre of York.
Didn't take us long to book another few days for next month.
Highly recommended Adults only site.

Lovely basic site, very well kept, was made most welcome by Graham and Lin. Bus stop outside takes you right into the centre of York. Despite it's position on the main road the traffic was not intrusive.
There is a park and ride at the York Designer Outlet a few miles away.
Really enjoyed my stay and at £16 a night including ehu it's not cheap but definitely worth it, Lin and Graham have worked hard on this site and it's a credit to them,
A shower block would be good though!

Wonderful friendly little campsite near York.
The owners were amazing and made us feel most welcome.
Lovely rural location, yet having the York Designer Outlet and the ancient city of York within short car ride.
We had a motorhome and the park and ride at the Outlet allowed for safe free parking and avoiding the problems of driving in the city.
Highly recommended.
