This campsite has changed hands since the last time we were here and I have to say that, thankfully, nothing much has changed.
It’s a brilliant little campsite and the new owner (Andy) is a friendly, pleasant guy, nothing was too much trouble.
With the bus stop directly outside the site, journeys into York is no more than 15 minutes.
All in all, a very pleasant little break for the good lady and myself and we will definitely be returning soon.

Lovely campsite, excellent location for traveling to York and the bus stops right outside the gate.
Graham and Lin are such a lovely couple, nothing too much trouble and the welcoming scones were delicious.
We will definitely be visiting again.

A gem of a site. Small, quiet and only 10mins drive from York Designer Outlet and Park & Ride to York central.
Owners deservedly take pride in ensuring guests are happy, offering scones on arrival and friendly / helpful shed for book exchange, timetables, etc.
Definitely in our Top 5 favourite sites.

Such a peaceful and well kept site.
We were given one of the warmest welcomes we’ve ever had, the owners Graham & Lin were so friendly & helpful.
No toilets or showers but that is no problem, adults only which suits us these days.
We’ve already booked to return.

Beautiful site, lovely owners who go out of their way to welcome you. Very clean, all sanitised every morning.
Very helpful information in a hut at the entrance, bus stop to York right at the gate.
Only slight down side is there are no toilets

A great little site the owners have put a lot of effort into making. A “Helpful hut” full of useful local info gives plenty of ideas and the bus stop right outside gives an easy route into York on the No. 42 and in Sept 2020 costs £5. 60 return.
Pitches are reinforced grass or gravel and separated by young saplings. Graham and Lin are great hosts and gave a friendly welcome and are readily available as they are always doing something on site!
This site has the cleanest disposal area I have ever seen and reflects their attention to detail.
No showers or toilet but that is no problem for the self contained, the nearby village just has a tearoom and the site is next to a road but none of these detracts from the peaceful friendly nature of the site.

The bungalow site is in excellent condition, with reinforeced grass pitches and some hard standing. All the facilities are quite new with with plenty of EHU and water points.
All areas of the site were well maintained by the attentive owners, who provided lots of local information, bus timetables, local walks and even homemade scones on arrival.
Access to York by bus was easy as a bus stops right outside the site. Plenty of other things to see and do in the area, with designer shopping outlet only a few miles away if you fancy it.
An excellently run site with good facilities at a reasonable price, Recommended.
