Fantastic location if you’re in to aircraft’s,

Nice clean toilets and shower cubicles

I’m looking forward to going back very soon,

We had high winds on our visit and one of our tents got damaged and the owner lee done all he could to rescue my daughters family belongings from the ruined tent.

Thank you for a great stay

We have been here twice now and love it here. And we are coming back in September.

Its just so easy going and great for plane spoting which we both love. And the town is nearby with shops and pubs.

And Lee the campsite owner is easy going and very nice.

Lovely welcoming site, we went has aircraft are our hobby and this site has all the things we require.

It was well run and friendly facilities although basic were spotlessly clean.

Spent a night here with a few friends. Lee was very welcoming and the site was tidy and clean.

Facilities were in great shape and plenty of space for our tents.

Located only a short drive from a nice little town and although we aren’t plane fanatics was amazing to see planes up so close.

Friendly, secure, clean, well organised, simple facilities but adequate.

Great view of RAF Mildenhall runway!

West Row and Mildenhall not far away for good shopping facilities and takeaways.

Great site for plane spotters and very friendly warden. Facilities were basic but perfectly adequate for us.

Really good value so can’t complain about paying 50p for a shower.

Watch out for the unsigned entrance and rather tight turn in if you have a large unit!

Do consider this place as it is in a unique location

Just returned home from a three night stay at The Willows Campsite. Have to say it was better than I was expecting. It's a small site with just 22 pitches and has a camping pod plus a holiday cottege (I think).

First impressions were excellent from the contolled entry barrier to the layout. The site is extremely clean. The facilities whilst not up to the standards of you average 5 star Hilton are more than adequate despite the quantity. One night the ite was filled to capacity but none of my party of three had to wait to use the toilets, showers or washing up facility.

The owner is a really friendly guy who will help out if required but generally lets you get on with things tour own way. As pointed out in other reviews, the showers are 50p but give you more than enough time to take a decent shower without having to keep pressing a button to get the water flowing again. The pitches are a reasonable size but not suitable for the monsters like the Outwell Montanna 10.

The noise from the aircraft taking off or landing was quiter than I expected with mainly prop planes using Mildenhall but you do see and hear the jet fighters from Lakenheath.

We found this sight from searching for campsites in the area and decided to give it a try. It's a gem of a site and I've no doubt we will be returning soon.

The cream on top of the cake is the price. Three adults with a dog for 3 nights for £42 (no electric hookup) was a bargain.

Just had a two night stay here, what an amazing place this site is. The owner is great, very helpful when you ask for his help, otherwise your left alone to get on with your camping/caravaning.

The ground is level and flat, a really well maintained, plenty of eletric hookups if you want one, great sized site, its not massive but its really big enough.

Toilets are very clean, showers are 50p and I had plenty of time to have a normal shower, lovely and hot. Cubicle just for washing, very clean and a cubicle for your washing up, a few reviews have said these cubicles are old and need updating, but I think they are quaint and fantastic.

The viewing platform is brilliant, plenty of space for quite a few people, great view of Mildenhall runway, and when planes are taking off you get a really awesome view of them. Plenty of activity on the base, plenty to see, I spent a lot of time on the viewing platform, and other campers/caravaners joined me and were friendly and we had a few great chats, cant fault it. Planes seemed to start fairly early in the morning, and can go on until maybe 11pm ish, which isnt a problem. Lakenheath is 6-7 miles down the road, well worth a visit.

I will deffinately be returning once a year, its a fantastic place, a real gem. The only bad thing about it is the fact you have to leave and go home :)

Just returned from the Bank Holiday Weekend getaway.

It was our first time at this site and it would of been nice to have had some information on the area, such as nearest shops/pubs etc.

Pitch's very small and only just enough room for car/caravan and awning. Also, on arrival you get to see the 'line' of storage caravans too.

No washing up facility and toilets/showers were like going back in time! It would of been nice to have had full length doors and not open to the elements! Luckily it was a nice weekend!

Certainly won't be returning to this site.
