Brilliant peaceful site. Well spaced pitches with clean toilets and showers.
As it’s a fruit farm the farm shop had plenty of different fruit juices and cider available and well as a good selection of local produce including burgers, sausages and vegetables.
We had a visit from the Beefy Boys burger van on one night and then had fish and chip friday at the cafe on another.
They have fire pits and kindling available and on Saturday there were plenty of overnighters having bbqs and there was a lovely atmosphere.
The rest of the time we were there it was very peaceful with little to no road noise. I think they have clay pigeon shooting on the far side of the farm at weekends but that was the only noise for a short time and didn’t disturb us.
The warden along with the other staff in the shop and cafe are very friendly and this is a gem of a site. Had a lovely lunch at The Pheasant pub not far away but didn’t visit anywhere else this time as we only had a few days.
Will definitely put it on the list to revisit again.

Lovely site. Friendly warden.
Fruit Farm is beautiful and the shop was well stocked and open late on Friday evening, which was great.
We had a lovely breakfast in the cafe each morning.
The toilets and showers were kept clean and the water was hot.
We would definitely go back

Really good site in a very peaceful setting lost in the Cotswolds.
Gorgeous scenery all around and very helpful, friendly staff. Not a huge site but plenty big enough for me.
The facilities are good and include 2 toilet blocks which are much nicer than the portakabin type and 5 showers (I think) again in 2 areas.
The farm shop is well stocked and not badly priced for most things. I know they have a Café/tea shop but I didn't use it so can't comment on this.
Ideally located for visiting many of the Cotswold gems like Broadway and Winchcombe.
There are surely more that I've not yet visited but no matter as I'm sure to come back.
Thoroughly recommend this campsite.

Tried but failed to book online for a 'spur-of-the-moment' few days away. So I phoned the next morning (day of arrival) and 'no problem'.
Had a grass pitch with electricity, near, but not too near the loos and washing up area. Could not be happier.
Lovely quiet site, very nice people, who loved my eccentric campervan!
Made a few purchases in the shop. Had I known it was there I wouldn't have bothered taking so much with me! Mel (Warden) was very friendly and didn't bat an eyelid when I reported that I had demolished a shower curtain!
WORD OF WARNING! Hot water means HOT! VERY HOT!I was having a lovely shower. Turned the shower off to lather up and when I turned it back on it was SO hot that I dodged back, tripped over the tray and landed in the chair amidst a lot of shower curtain! The washing up water is equally hot. I'm not complaining, but be warned.
No other complaints at all. I would certainly recommend this site for anyone who wants a simple, no-frills, quiet, clean and cheap stay.
Close to the Gloucestershire/Warwickshire Steam Railway - best place to start is Toddington. If you want towns, Eveshan (which I found rather disappointing) and Tewkesbury (which was much preferable) are not very far away. Hailes Abbey church is fascinating - I should have left myself longer for it.
I will leave it to the younger and fitter to report on walks, but I would think them good from what I could see of the countryside.

The site is attached to the Hayles Fruit Farm where you can access the farm shop, tea room and their most excellent Apple cider.
The site is on a slight slope so we pitched our Bell Tents at the top of that slope.
Apart from 2 porta showers the remaining showers and toilets are a plastic construction with limited ventilation which means they get very hot. I avoided that by showering early in the morning. The showers are clean, and deliver a good flow of water, they must get hot water but because the warm weather I had very cool showers.
Mel the site warden keeps the toilets and showers very clean, always ensuring there’s soap and toilet paper. There is an open sided, 2 sink washing up area with scalding hot water so be careful.
There is hard standing for camper vans and caravans and some electric hook ups which tended to be more at the bottom of the field.
The site has a scattering of trees and bushes and overall is a great place to stay. Access to the site is off a well used road but we never heard any road noise and the site was usually quiet from 22:00hrs onwards.
You can have free use (with a £20 refundable deposit) of a fire pit, the site sells wood at a reasonable price, they allow bbqs. So fire, bbq, great meat from local butchers and cold cider from the farm shop what isn’t there to like!
Apparently there are some good walks that you can easily access from the site but the hardest walk we did was back to the tents after drinking to much Badger Cider.
If you’ve a problem on the site or need information then ask Mel she’ll sort it or know the answer.
We will defo be coming back.

This is a great site, ideally located if you like walking, as there are several footpaths crossing the site, leading to local towns etc.
Hailes Abbey is just up the lane, Toddington Steam Railway and the town of Winchcome are within walking distance. If you don't fancy walking to the main train station at Toddington there is a halt at Hailes Abbey, although you will need to check the timetable as not all trains stop there.
The site facilities are basic, and probably a bit busy at peak times, but very clean, and there is a shop on site that sells local wares etc.
There is also a cafe if you don't want to cook, and their fish and chip Fridays (you need to book) are a bit pricey but a lovely treat and well worth it.
The couple that oversee the site are very helpful and friendly. Any problems will get sorted very quickly.
We have stayed here a couple of times and plan to go back.

Amazing helpful team
Beautiful surroundings and views
Lovely tea room - great breakfasts and fish and chip Fridays!
Good pitch sizes with space in between
Good farm shop selling their produce and other local producers

Not really a problem but be warned that facilities are basic. They are however, warm, working and clean…
We will definitely be returning and absolutely happy to recommend

Our group of 6 families have now notched up 5 annual visits.
The warden is ACE as are the family and staff that run the site.
Location is bang in the typically beautiful Cotswolds.
The on site cafe / tea room never disappoints as well having a genuine farm shop selling local produce.
I have seen slightly negative reviews in regards to the shower. One of the blocks is basic but the general vibe and relaxed vibe more than make up for this.
See you May 2023

A lovely quiet site in a very rural setting. Extremely warm and friendly welcome, very informative.
This was a winter visit, and the site was quiet but everything needed was available.
The facilities were more than adequate, warm and spotlessly clean. Plenty of hot water for showers and washing up.
The farm shop was excellent, and it would have been possible to get all your needs there without leaving site.
Tea room looked good, and was popular, though we did not use it.
A recommended site.
