An excellent well maintained, clean and quiet site.
Facilities superb, pitches wide and level.
Great sports hall, bit not much to do within walking distance.
WiFi was a bit hit and miss on the pitch we had.
Highly recommended worth the high price.

Hi
The site was very clean in fact it was superb. There was a new shower/toilet block and kitchen facilities.
Lovely fish and chips on Thursday, staff were very helpful.
There are shops about a mile away so not too far.
We will definitely stay there again.

Used this campsite as a one night stop over on route to Northumberland. Wow! Unbelievable site, will be back again.
This is a beautiful site, not very big, just off the M6 near Carlisle, the site is beautiful, absolutely spotless and maintained to a very high standard. It has obviously received a lot of very thoughtful investment.
On booking you are sent clear instructions about the site and your pitch number so you drive straight in and pitch, the owners are very friendly and helpful and immediately available if required.
The toilet shower facilities will 'blow you away' - the best I have ever experienced and they would not be out of place in a five star hotel (really!). Just unbelievable for a campsite and why not? Well done the owners!
There is even an indoor Sports Hall for Badminton, Pool, Table Tennis and outdoors you can try Boules or Croquet.
This site is what all the others should be striving to achieve.
Just excellent, 10 out of 10 no hesitation, wholeheartedly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

A peaceful, beautiful, well-maintained site, spotlessly clean & adults only. Heated facilities block – toilets, showers & washing up area is very posh! Entrance at either end of a corridor via glass door – our pitch was nearest the washing up side.
2 sinks for washing up & loads of work surface for placing crockery etc – like kitchen at home. Both sinks opposite a window. Along the corridor are separate ladies/gents toilets (2 cubicles in ladies, very modern sinks & hand dryer & on the other wall, more mirrors, a shelf & 2 hairdryers (I didn’t use).
Apparently in gents the urinals could have had a privacy screen, but that was only criticism; there were 6 large wetrooms (one with lower sink, raised WC & hand rails for disabled use); each wetroom had toilet, sink, power shower with fixed overhead shower plus a smaller shower with removable hose.
A squeegee for drying the floor after use also present in each, plus a stool, loads of storage space & hooks for clothes/towels. The mirror above the sink even had LED lights around it! Excellent facilities, have seen none better!
Also 2 other, smaller wetrooms round the side of the old (disused) toilet block, for use when the main block was being cleaned or too busy. These rooms also were very good. Nearby was a sports hall for badminton /darts/ billiards; equipment could be hired, but also a seating area at the far end.
Also was a cabin with tourist information & a selection of books & DVDs to borrow or swap.
The laundry room was back towards the security barrier, at the bottom of the owners’ garden.
There was also a box saying to help yourself to laundry essentials if forgotten your own (I hadn’t) but it was almost empty when I checked.

This site was very nice and well managed. The facilities were absolutely lovely with the best shower block you could ever wish for, the shower rooms were exceptional with plenty room including a toilet and hand wash basin all of which were very modern and kept in the best condition by users of the facilities and the management staff.
The management kept a low profile but were there if you needed any help and responded to any call for assistance within minutes.
The site had a sports hall facility which again was kept in very clean and good order with a variation of recreational activities.
The grounds of the site were very well maintained and all pitches were of a good size and well spaced from adjoining pitches. Variation of pitch types available.
A quiet site with all residents keeping noise levels down and respecting basic requirements as requested by site management.
A ten / fithteen drive to Carlisle and many of the tourist attractions available.
A lovely site of which I would highly recommend and have no hesitation in staying again I the near future.

Simply to emphasise what others have said.
It is difficult to find any fault. Dog field was huge though you couldn’t close the gate!
The shower block comprises individual bathrooms with superb facilities.
Minutes from the M6.

I can not rate this site high enough. The owners are a lovely couple.
The site is immaculate. The toilet block is the best one we have ever found (We would be more than happy to have them at home).
The location is ideal for both east and west coast.
The lakes are within easy reach. You must visit the Jersey milk just down the road.
You can order fish and chips on Thursdays and Sunday dinner on Sundays.
