Good location and the only affordable option for Bath - the Marina is more central but prices are insane.
Bit of traffic noise as it is right on the A39. Walking distance to the Wheatsheaf pub (7 minutes).
Not a lot to get excited about really - the showers are hot but the cabins in which they are housed are looking pretty shabby and stink to high heaven of mildew.
I'm fairly sure someone will put their foot through the floor just inside the entrance to the ladies soon.
£9 pppn so relatively cheap, and friendly hosts.

Never lets us down. Great location, friendly and helpful owners.
Perfect location for days out to; Bath, Bristol, Longleat, Wells and other attractions.
This is a 'no frills' site but has all that is needed regardless of unit or tent.

We stayed at Bury View on a Saturday evening when we were going to a concert in Bath.
The site was easy to find, Tom Tom took us right to the gate. The owner was friendly and helpful and the site peaceful.
We were very happy with our stay and will happily stay there again if we are stopping in the area.
If you send a contact enquiry vis this site and don't get a reply it is worth phoning them as they may not get the email but are on the end of the phone.

The campsite itself was kept tidy with short grass and was convenient for travelling to Bath and Bristol.
However, the toilets and washroom / shower facilities were very grubby and had obviously not been cleaned properly for a long time.
The floors were not swept clear of leaves and general debris for the 5 days we stayed and to grow mould on the wipe clean plastic surface of the shower room is an achievement.
The showers were hot and you could use them for as long you want but I didn't want to lean on the walls whilst I dried.
We won't use this site again.

Great basic little site on the outskirts of Bath, used it as a stop over whill visiting family.
Easy pull in off the main road, greeted by the owner who was very friendly and directed me to the pitch which is through a manual barrier with combination lock.
It's basically a field with electric points around it for around 20 units, flat and roomy.
Toilets and showers are in a porta cabins, male and female separate and are basic but clean and adiquate with electric showers.
Water, waste etc all to hand, tv, mobile and 4G all exellent.
It's next to a main road but all you can hear is the odd aeroplane now and then.
Nothing more to add as it's proper camping here and we will definitely be back when visiting relatives.

Visited bury farm 22/04/2015-29/04/2015, on arrival found the owner very friendly and helpful, the site isn't big but found it quiet and peaceful, ideally situated for, BATH, WELLS, BRISTOL ECT,
The shower and toilet blocks are only porto cabins but where fine.
we would have no hesitation in going back there.

Been back and this site is still great. It's small so not too busy even over this last week with the kids off, and they have started doing things like putting up new fencing and renewing the tiling and flooring in the wash block - just the ladies at the moment, so I'm told ;)
We cycled into Bath a lot this year and with the path cleared up quite a bit by the council, its a lot safer although be warned if you have very young kids you'll still have to be very careful through Corston itself. That said, if you've got a car + bike racks to get them there in the first place, the Bath to Bristol cycle path is an old railway, totally traffic free and only 10 mins to the start by car from the campsite, a great day out. Also this year we walked up the 'bury' itself, great views, what a difference the weather makes!

Great site with very easy access to Bath. The owners were very friendly and made time to provide information about the local area. The site is fairly basic but is great for a short stay. My only minor complaint would be the lack of soap in the toilets, and minimal cleaning. Otherwise recommended for a great budget city break.

This is a great, friendly site with a simple camping area and a fairly new toilet block, offering free hot showers and a basic washing up hut adjacent. The road is busy during the day, but never noisy and quiet at night. You are right in the middle of the countryside, but with a separated pathway to a nearby pub and really close to both Bath and Bristol. Give the other, very expensive, overdeveloped sites in Bath a miss and give Bury View Farm a try!

Very disappointed with this site. We arrived and the owners were not around even though they had phoned us and knew what time we were arriving. This site is advertised as being open during winter and we would therefore expect it to be suitable. We found our pitch and reversed towards it and then got stuck. It should be advertised as needing a 4x4 in winter. After churning up the grass and trying my best to get out the only thing we could do (in the absence of the owners) was to unhitch, turn the caravan and try again. Even from a different angle I got stuck again but this time managed to get out of it. Had the owners been around with their 4x4 we'd have been OK.
The site is clean and well maintained with good toilet facilities. Unfortunately it's next to a busy but noisy road. However, the nearby pub is very pleasant and only a 5 minute walk away. It's brilliantly situated for Bath and Bristol, both within 30 minutes drive even with Christmas traffic.
The pitches are in a very strange position. They are blocked completely from the sun by trees, yet on the opposite side of the field where caravans are stored there is plenty of sunshine - it would be worth the owners considering changing the layout of their site. A bit of sun might make the grass a bit less muddy and more suitable in the winter.
It wasn't until we were leaving that the owner asked us how our stay had been - the wrong way round I'm afraid.
