We stayed twice in September, topping and tailing a week in Dorset with a split seven days at this site.
The owners were friendly and helpful, the sound of the traffic was not intrusive. The facilities, whilst far from luxurious were clean and more than adequate.
One unit did have a problem getting off the site, due to the wet conditions, but everyone else moved without difficulty.
The site is very convenient for Bath and even if full would still seem spacious and is convenient for breaking journeys to Dorset or Devon with the south coast being less than a two hour tow away.
We will definitely stay again.

Great place to stay at! Great value for money.
We have stayed here several times (both in a tent and a campervan). Has plenty of hook-ups, for both tents and campervans.
It's the perfect location for bath, and all surrounding attractions.
Has great facilities and a great size, brilliant for couples.
The owners are extremely friendly, and have time for all campers.
We would definitely return again, as we have previously done so several times!

We had the warmest of welcomes. We had a motorhome and tent and were able to check site before choosing pitches. All facilities were basic but meticulously clean at all times. There was hot water a plenty !
We appreciated the security gates and concern for guests. This is a quiet, very spacious site with lovely countryside views. We enjoyed a superb meal at the Wheatsheaf pub just 5 mins walk away.
We will definitely return to this rural peaceful setting. Nothing is too much trouble for Jim and Sally. Thank you !

Great little campsite, friendly owners very helpful, good clean showers and plenty of hot water. Will be back.
Nice pub 2mins walk up the road, friendly landlady, food sounded nice.
Got to try Jimmyspice in Bath, great food a real gem.
Also Bristol Camping was very good for supplies and advice they display 50 tents all year round and prices are very good indeed.
Could do with a small play area for kids but I am just being picky now as we really enjoyed ourselves for the four days we were there.

We stayed over Easter 2011 as part of a longleat family trip, what a lovely friendly site.
Toilets and showers were really clean, and plenty of hot water, there was no fridge or freezer available, but owners were very helpful and offered to freeze our iceblocks and chill our wine!
There is no play area for children, but this wasn't a problem, our kids were happy to kick a ball around the field.
Good pub grub, I think it was called the Wheatsheaf, five minute walk. Landlady very welcoming, and was happy to cater to any child's tastes.
Local shop about a five minute drive away.
Overall, fab campsite, great owners, we will definitely return.

We stayed at this campsite when visiting the 2010 Balloon Festival in Bristol. It was £20 per night with EHU and we had to send payment in advance via the post.
When finding the site, we missed it because the signage was parallel to the road so we had passed it by the time we realise we should have pulled in. This happened every time we returned, not just the first time!
Nice small site behind a farm house and under the flight path of Bristol Airport. This didn't have any detrimental effect, neither did the busy main road. The owners were friendly and helpful. Entry was via a barrier with padlock.
Clean toilets and shower facilities with mop & buckets, although no hand drying facilities of any kind. The 1 pot washing sink was open to the elements and only had cold water. Although I am short, it was too low for me so quite back breaking! No facilities for children but we did not stay around the site for it to be an issue.
We needed a new EHU and there is a Go Camp shop on the main route to Bristol. However, the site hire an EHU for a small charge.
Balloons from the festival took flight at 6am and a number passed over the campsite at around 7.30 which was a spectacular site. The festival itself was one large funfair and a great day out, although the 6pm flights were cancelled due to the weather conditions.
Top tip - although the event is free, book your parking on-line in advance as it is cheaper. We also visited Brunnell's SS Great Britain in Bristol which was well worth the visit. Word of warning for anyone visiting Bristol (which looked an interesting place to visit), the road signage is dire.

Just got back from a three night stay here while we visited the Bristol Balloon Fiesta (which was fantastic, by the way).
Very happy with the showers and toilets, and I'm very fussy! Lots of hot water and spacious shower with hook on back of door, clean, and important for me no spiders! Two showers and three loos in the ladies' block. The only suggestion I might make is for a mop and bucket for people to clear up after their shower. Separate disabled facilities.
Small quiet site off a busy A39 but couldn't hear much traffic noise at all. Large field next to camping field for exercising dogs. Very pleasant country surroundings. Didn't have the opportunity to try the local pub. No facilities as such for children. Our kind of site really. Good value for money in August, £16 per night including EHU.

Spent the weekend at this site with my wife, 9 year old son and our dog. Lovely little site tucked away behind an old secluded farmhouse situated just off the A39 main road, approximately 1.5 miles out of Corston village (far enough away from the road not to notice the traffic noise).
Nice flat grass pitches and well maintained throughout. The site has 5 static vans, 10 to 12 touring pitches (some sited), 3 tent pitches and storage for approx. 10 vans all in the same field, which I thought a little strange, but this didn't spoil anything. The toilet facilities are portacabin type with free showers and plenty of hot water, very clean and well maintained. Outside washing up facilities and Chemical disposal point next to the toilet block.
Nice pub 5 mins walk towards Corston Village. We ate there on Friday evening and would recommend it to anyone. Very friendly staff, good food, guest beers and dog friendly. They even made an omelette for my son on request even though it was not on the evening meal menu - you don't get that very often. May be a little pricey for some but the food was great and plenty of it.
The site has easy access to Bath (5 miles) or Bristol (9 miles) and either route has plenty of country pubs and village shops on the way. Nearest shop we found was in Saltford on the A4 approx. 4 miles away although there is a small post office come shop in Corston village which was closed when we drove through. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and would definitely be returning sometime in the future.

When we went old toilet block, but great and good value. The owners very friendly small quiet site we will go to again. Good pub down road! The site has a old meadow theme and although static caravans were near by were not too near.Looking forward to new toilet block as when we were there they were just building it!

This site was a little gem. Tucked away behind the farmhouse on a small flat paddock surrounded mostly by hedges. You approach through the farmyard via a combination controlled barrier. Although the access road is quite busy at times and the traffic quite fast you are scarcely aware of it once on the site. There were three large grass tent pitches without EHU but there were some caravan pitches with. Most of the caravans there seemed to be in storage.
There are lovely new portacabin type toilets and showers + a disabled access toilet. There was plenty of hot water and the showers were good though there was no hand dryer or hairdryer. Plastic stools in the showers would be good too. The owners were preparing the site for the new dishwashing facility as we left. We also liked the recycling facilities. It rained heavily during the two nights we were there but the field was not waterlogged.
There is a pub within walking distance which apparently serves good food but pricey. The portions however are enormous according to the people we met. There is a medium sized Co-op at Twerton and some takeaway restaurants though the place seemed a bit run down. There is a small post office cum general store at Corstone Bath and Bristol are easily accessible as is the Kennet and Avon canal.
The owners were friendly and helpful and we could buy fresh eggs. A lovely site for adults but nothing really for children. We would certainly visit again if we were in that area.
