Had two nights here and thought the price (£18 per night with EHU) was fair. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The grass was short and the facilities dated but functional.
Breakfasts were available at the B&B on site and a fish and chip van at the gate Friday and Saturday tea time. We didn't use either but the smells were very tempting!
The coastal path is approx. 1. 5miles from the site and Martins Haven for boat trips is about 2 miles away. There is a pub 5mins walk in the village and cafe.

A decent site. Flat single field, with trees for shelter. Grass cut beautifully when I visited and nothing to suggest that was an exception. It was and had been dry so no idea what it's like when wet but I guess not a major problem.
Toilet ans shower block are a bit dated but kept clean and stocked. The water was plenty hot enough. And several fridge/freezers. Washing machines think they were £3.
There's a fish/chip and burger van at weekends may be there during the week, and they do a breakfast if ordered the night before (£5). Didn't use them so no idea if good or bad.
Marloes is a nice village, the pub is 5 mins walk away (Lobster Pot), friendly enough, but a bit pricey, has wifi.
Coast path is close by and the village is well served by a bus service.

A nicely manicured camping ground but it was hard to find a level spot without hook-up. The toilet facilities are very dated. Not requiring a shower that evening I went at 10. 30pm to the only proper washbasin with a hot water tap.
This was in a private cubicle. Within seconds someone tried the door, followed a minute later by another person. This continued for the 10 minutes I was in there and I even heard someone cleaning their teeth in the shower cubicle next door.
The washbasin which was not at all clean was set into a surround and there was a jellyish gunge right round where they met. I also found two very small hand sinks in the three toilet cubicles outside but these were only tiny & only had cold water.
The washing-up place was very spidery, one almost the size of my hand in a ancient web in the corner. At £15 it was very overpriced.
There is also a cabin on-site where you can get milk etc but ask the price first or you will get a shock.

We had a really nice one night stay here over half term. It is a small but very pretty site with good pitch space and a very friendly welcome. This was a very reasonable £15 for one night with a hook up. Great showers, washing up and laundry facilities too. The showers are a bit tired and need some up dating though.
Little shop on site is great bonus and I believe the guest house attached to the site do meals, but we didn't try.
There is a nice pub in the village and a cafe.
The shop in the village has basic range, but is useful.
A very welcome surprise discovery and we would certainly return.

I would echo everything in the review of July 2012. We loved this site. Really helpful owners (and the friends who help them). Handy for the coastal path, beaches, Skomer and other lovely walks. Dogs welcome on leads; when no-one was around we let our bigger dog off the lead to chase his ball for 5 minutes and this wasn't an issue.
As it is attached to a guesthouse there is a small bar on site and a fish and chip van on Fridays and Saturdays. The camp shop opens mornings and evenings for food ( but only long life milk so stock up). Everyday they write up a board with the weather forecast, which is really helpful as we couldn't get any phone signal ( we tried three different networks- you have to drive higher up out of the village to get anything).
Village shop is very poor, so make sure you have everything you need as a return trip to Haverfordwest will probably take 90 minutes.
For children there is a playground about 3 minutes away, but plenty of room on site for ball games etc.
Facilities are good enough-only problem is that your shower might go cold when someone turns on the shower next door. Facilities are unisex with separate toilets.
We have given up on Camping and Caravan club sites as we find them distinctly unfriendly and regimented. This site is everything that a C and C site should be- a traditional campsite at its best.

This site is a little gem. Small, very friendly with nice pitching area and not too many rules. All facilities were clean and more than adequate.
We stayed during a busy week but never had to wait to use showers etc. Plenty of space in freezers for ice blocks etc.
The site is really well placed for a couple of stunning beaches, the coastal path, a village shop/post office and nice dog friendly pub offering reasonable food and with a large beer garden.
Puffin shuttle bus runs through the village and is great for trips to some lovely coastal villages if you fancy leaving the car at home.
Haverford West 12 miles for large supermarkets and good shopping area.
Cooked meals/breakfasts available in the owners guest house adjoining site, and Martin serves cracking fish & chips from his mobile van Friday and Saturday evenings.
We had a lovely six night stay here and will definitely be returning.

We spent a couple of nights here as the last stage of our honeymoon. We were in a campervan with ECU - only a couple of other tents there at the same time so it was lovely and quiet.
The owners were very friendly and there was nothing missing: showers and loos were adequate and clean, and the fridge and freezer much appreciated. Good indoor washing up facilities. The facilities are just rather tired and somewhat affected by lack of ventilation.
We were so excited that, despite rough weather, it was calm enough for the boat to cross to Skomer so we could see puffins. We had bikes so could quickly cycle to Martin's Haven - it was a good 2 or 3 miles - which you could of course walk, or drive to and park in the NT car park. Seeing puffins was memorable - the rain was immaterial. We also spotted porpoises on the return boat trip.
Marloes shop is very disappointing so if you are hoping for decent food supplies there, don't rely on it - take your own!

Spent 2 nights at Foxdale. 3 unisex toilets, which seemed to be cleaned regularly, as were showers. £42 for tent, 2 adults and 2 kids inc an electric hook up. Fridge/freezer facilities available, subject to demand. Didn't eat/drink there so can't comment.
We did go to the Lobster Pot pub (5 min walk). Seemed ok initially, but the owner hurried us to settle the bill due to ' a rush on tables'. Food quality was no more than ordinary, but came to our rescue because the weather was too bad to cook outside the tent that evening.
No dedicated play area for kids on the site, but plenty of available space. Overall, quiet and seemed safe. Owner was friendly and approachable.

Just returned from this site following a quick jubilee getaway.
The site has limited room and on arrival we were asked to pitch quite close to the tent next to us as they had a lot of bookings, so the tents were all quite close together.
Dogs are welcome but there is no real area to walk them away from other tents and motorhomes, there is also no children's play area so you did find children playing ball etc very close to cars and tents.
The facilities are in need of an up date, but kept clean and tidy and at times with only 3 unisex toilets queues did form quite quickly, and this also apply's for the showers. The camp facilities also have freezers and fridges for campers to use however these get full very quickly so don't rely on them.
There is some electricity hook ups available but they are limited.
Very friendly site but doesn't seem to have a noise curfew so did get quite loud on some occasions during our stay. Lots of families stopping so the noise was a little disappointing especially as the language used by the revellers was a little inappropriate.
Beach is lovely but is a distant walk approx 1. 6 miles up a very narrow road before getting to the beach path which in turn is another 1. 5 miles to the beach.
Very narrow roads to get to the site, so beware of this if you have a large motorhome or vehicle.
There is one pub in the village and a village shop however we did not use either of theses facilities.

What a lovely weekend at Foxdale a return trip with my husband following a successful girlies weekend last year. The site remains intuitively maintained and managed; the loos and shower block have had an upgrade and whilst the showers may not be luxurious they are private, clean and serviceable with plenty of room to change. There is a good choice as we discovered an additional shower in a separate building which was a bonus during the peak time for ablutions.
Friday night fish and chips from the on site van were delicious and just what was needed after a gruelling drive down in the heat of the day. Victoria very kindly suggested an alternative pitch for our rig (Landrover roof tent) to give us more protection from any winds a kindness that we have not received at many other sites. We had an electric hook up and there appears to be more than last year which is a good thing as this really helps the camping experience.
I don't know if we were just lucky or if the site just attracts similar types but we were blessed with good company. The space at the centre of the site is kept open & free and it was well used as a dog recreational area as well as child race track but wonderful to see the children active and not glued to computers etc.
Good wash up facilities and I would have liked a place to put things that could be composted. While we did not make use of the bar in the evenings it looked like a good place to bolt if the weather turned but the camping gods smiled on us for our weekend and the sun shone.
