Lovely little site, most of the pitches have a view of the 2 fishing ponds.
Electric meter which only used £10 over 3 nights.
2 toilet blocks & plenty of water taps.
A little bit of road noise, which soon zones out.
Maria & Tony very helpful.

The site is located on the junction of the A17/A16 but once in the grounds of the site, you would not know it, so that gets an UP. If you listened for the traffic you can hear it, but it was never a problem. The owners were very helpful and friendly.
We were guided to our pitch, and shown the facilities. Another UP for them. The pitches are very generous, with plenty of room for a caravan, car and awning. UP.
The facilities also get an UP. They were very clean, with toilets and showers available. They also have washing machines and washing up stations.
There are two fishing lakes that, I was told, were full of fish by one angler. It’s very hard to come up with any downs for this site but there are a couple of improvements I would like to see.
Although I was in a caravan, I didn’t see any motorhome waste points. Also, the electric hook up, I have to give it a DOWN. This may be controversial but I would prefer to have constant electric and pay a flat rate.
This site uses card meters, so you pay so much and put it in the meter. For some, this would be great, because you only pay for what you use. For me, I would just rather pay another few pounds per day and have a constant supply.
My last DOWN is the entrance. Fine during the day, but at night it can be easily missed as there is no lighting. On quite a busy road, a light above the sign would be very beneficial.
Overall. A huge UP for this site.
I will definitely be back when I need a quiet weekend away.

Lovely place to stay with well stocked fishing lakes. The toilets / showers are unisex and were very clean.
The site is very well looked after with the grass cut short and hard standing for caravans / motorhomes which are pretty level.
We stayed for 3 nights and a £5 token for the electricity was ample using about £1. 50 per day for the fridge, kettle and hot water that we only switched on when we needed it.
The owners were lovely and very helpful. Downsides. There is nowhere for motorhomes to dump their grey water as you have to use the chemical toilet which is ok if you have a waste water container but not if you have a waste water tank.
There is road noise though not loud is constant all day and night as right next to a roundabout with three major A roads but that didn't spoil our stay.
Would recommend the site especially if you are into fishing as some nice fish in both lakes.

Lovely site and owners very friendly, fishing good but can't fish after six, don't know why.
A bit of noise from traffic going past, and our electric kept tripping out, it is only 10amps

Fantastic site. Well spaced plots, spotless facilities, friendly hosts and first class fishing all at a very reasonable cost.
Most people were return visitors which is the best recommendation you can get.
Maria and Tony (the hosts) have always got smiles on their faces and cannot do enough to ensure you have a great stay.
Cannot wait to visit again.

Had a lovely relaxing stay as the last night of a multi day cycling tour. Ideally situated with well looked after facilities.
Nice flat pitches for the tent and lakes with ducks that were very friendly!
Would recommend and definitely stay again when cycling in the area.

A lovely clean site, with a warm welcome from the hosts. The pitches are a decent size and I like they don't charge extra for awnings and dogs, there were a few lovely lodges on the park as well.
The fishing was ok but you couldn't fish after 6pm in the evenings, which we thought was odd.
The road noise was constant all through the night and it was quite loud.
