This site is very pretty, beautiful small lakes, packed with fish. The showers are great too, with no buttons to press or restrictions on water flow. The owners were very friendly too.
The only things I would like to mention are there is a constant noise from traffic, and the electric is about 5x more expensive than at home. We have a huge motorhome, I bought a £1 card for the meter and we both showered in our motorhome after we arrived and used 52p worth of electric in 15 minutes.
It's still super cheap though at £14 a night for our bus. Loved it, would go back.

A lovely cared for site, with lots of little touches that you wouldn't normally expect on a CL site. Very well kept, hedges and grass area well maintained, exceptional toilet / shower blocks, the lake is beautiful.
Such a lovely welcome when we arrived too and the owners always had time to chat with you. If you are a dog owner there is a good walk round the outside hedge within the campsite grounds.
As a border collie owner we soon found some good walks from the campsite too. On a negative, the A17 is an extremely busy road and with it very noisy which we found intrusive. Overall a very good holiday with so many places to visit within reasonable distance.
Would recommend Lincoln / Frampton Marsh / Spalding market days and the Thatched Cottage restaurant in Sutterton. Avoid The African Violet Centre and Mablethorpe !

Lovely site kept very clean and spotless. The owners are very friendly and very helpful. We stayed for a weekend. Showers and toilets are very clean which is a big bonus.
Although the site is a very good price the down side is you need to pay for electric separate which is a pain as you never know how much to put on the meter.
But apart from that you have a lovely Lake there if you want to fish and it is stocked very well with loads of fish.

We visited Walnut Lakes again for another weekend as we have done for a few years now, We found Maria and Tony's little paradise about five years ago and go back regularly
The site is perfect two toilet blocks with two toilet / showers in each cabin, I have never had to queue to use either.
The lakes are a nice sight better if you like fishing Maria and Tony are great people very friendly and will willingly stop to chat,
Slight road noise from A17 but not enough to moan about, we will carry on returning when possible.

What an amazing site hidden in Lincolnshire's finest countryside. A warm friendly polite welcome from the owners.
Great pitch with stunting lake views.
The fishing was a lovely extra for my husband & was very well maintained and very relaxing.
Showers & toilets incredibly clean.
A great base for visiting local attractions, Spalding, Skegness & Boston. Lovely local Restaurants that are great for evening meals.
Highly recommended and will definitely be returning, we had a fabulous stay.

We stayed on the park for two weeks and found the park owners very nice people.
We went for the recommended fishing and found both lakes well stocked with good sized fish.
The site is managed very well and over all is finished to a very high standard. There is very good access to spalding, boston, Skegness ect.
I would highly recommend a stay at this park

Site itself very peaceful and wildlife on lakes very entertaining. Owners very friendly and helpful and most certainly don't overcharge for their very well appointed hard standings and toilets/showers.
Set in a part of the country that gives easy access to numerous lanes that are virtually traffic free and ideal for cycling as they are completely flat. Let down only by the noisy road nearby that starts from about 5. 30am but despite that I will certainly return.

We stayed at Walnut Lakes for 6 nights and we had a lovely time. The site is spotless, as were the toilets and showers. One of the owners was very friendly and informative. Road noise was not a problem although you could hear it, didn't spoil the time spent there though. A must for those who like tranquillity and fishing. We would highly recommend this site.
Within 10 mile radius for supermarkets, asda, Tesco and Morrisons, a must for the much needed provisions.
We will be going back there within the next month.

Just come back from walnut lakes as the other reviews say very quiet adult site.
Very well kept, nice showers and toilets plenty for the five caravans.
Easy access to lincoln and boston. Tattershall castle well worth a visit.
Make sure you have £10 for your key to access site this is refunded when you leave. The fish and chip shop in sutterton was not very good, very small piece of fish and chips soggy!
Only slight negative is that entrance opens onto a busy A road can take a long time to exit.
Positives, owners very friendly but not in your face. We had to leave early as my husband hurt his back and they gave us a credit note for the two days we lost, which last for a year.
