This is a wonderful campsite. Quite and friendly.
Wash areas, toilets and showers which are clean and welcoming.
There are bins for waste and recycle.
Also an area to wash your pots and also a washing machine if needed. You need a code to enter and exit the area which makes this very secure.
David the Owner is such a lovely Gentleman and makes you most welcome and never rushes you when it's time to leave he always says "go when you're ready".
Highly recommended 😊

We loved the place. Far-reaching views, electric hook-up for a small fee and all you need in the way of showers and washing facilities.
Easy going owner who knows how to run a relaxed campsite at a fair price.
Easy 20 min walk into the village for a wonderful meal at the pub.
£7 taxi out of Burton. If we need to be back in the area we will definitely use Cross Farm.

This site is basic but lovely and quiet with nice views.
The toilet block with showers are clean and warm, laundry services available - which do the job (bring pound coins for the washing machine and 20p pieces for the dryers. )
It's so nice, I decided to stay an extra week.
No WiFi, as advertised, but my EE and Lebara SIM cards gave me great mobile hotspot signals with confident and consistent internet.
The owner drives around the site at least twice a day to check if anyone needs anything, I can't fault this site.

Fantastic site great facilities and Dave the site owner is extremely helpful.
Bus stops right outside the site 15 minutes to Burton where you can easily connect to some wonderfully scenic areas.
Highly recommended-will most definitely be returning.

The site was very easy to find and it wasn't very busy. We could pitch where we liked so we chose to be near a hook up and not far from the loos. The loos and showers were kept immaculate.
The pitch was flat and quite hard but we managed with normal pegs. Washing up facilities were great, under cover, washing machine and dryers available too.
Fellow campers said hello🙂.
Dog walking area was very good.
£12 a night fantastic value, plus a pound for 2 nights electric.
It was a lovely peaceful weekend and we would definitely return.

Excellent quite site with good facilities whether camping or motor homing. Good value for money even with electric hook up, hook ups available for all units.
An excellent couple of pubs in the village of Rolleston on Dove, also an exceptional butchers down one of the back streets, worth the effort to find it.

A quiet site with a great view, everyone was friendly.
Lawnmower could do with a collector box, the cut grass got everywhere.
Shop 5 mins by car and Burton only about 15 mins away.
