Tip: Use the what three words app and it will take you straight to the gate:) We lost signal using google maps and got lost for half an hour so this was a lifesaver (what 3 words posted on their fb page!)
Little cafe on site sells coffee/ tea/ cold drinks! They also had fire wood and fire pits to rent (limited availability).
Loads of space! Pitch where you prefer. Away from everyone or close to the toilets etc.
Young man that checked us in was very helpful in advising on hot showers! For a basic camp site it had everything we needed. Toilets were always clean!

Beautiful setting, you feel like you are right in the middle of the countryside. Phyllis is very friendly and prior to the booking she responded to enquiries very quickly.
There is only one toilet and shower but this is very clean and was never a problem, even though there were a lot of campers on site.
It is a short walk down hill to the stunning village of Parwich, there is a pub (with a shop inside) and also the British Legion (nice little beer garden). Apparently you can walk to Tissington, only two miles away!
Everyone on the site was friendly and I look forward to going again this year.

Lovely friendly site. Bit limited on the facilities side but lovely none the less.
No issues at all. Very happy short break and we will be looking to go again.

Enjoyed every aspect of this campsite.
Phyllis is very helpful and very thoughtful.
Even though the site is small I prefer this to the large commercial sites.
We will definitely return again and again

Lovely site - I stayed one night in my backpacking tent and it was perfect for what I needed.
Phyllis was very welcoming and friendly. The toilet/shower are basic but perfectly adequate and reflect the price (£5 for the night).
I went down the hill to the Sycamore Inn for dinner which was really nice too.

Lovely site. We arrived on the Friday evening and the lady owner was there to show us our pitch. Electric hook up and close to our pitch.
Lovely views to East South and West.
Very basic shower toilet. We did not use as we had our own. Great pub in village some lovely walks to be had and a good spot if you like you cycling.
We'll be back!

The owners couldn't do enough for us, felt really welcomed, lovely views.
Our daughter enjoyed seeing the baby calves and one was born when we were there,
Its in a great location where you can walk 10 minutes to the choice of 2 pubs and a park. You can walk through the fields with sheep, horses, goats etc in.
We have loved our weekend and will be returning for sure.
Facilities are basic but all that you need for a comfortable stay and they are extremely clean.

Requested a hard standing for a caravan and the lovely owner Mrs Gosling went out of her way to ensure we had the spot we requested; nothing is ever any trouble for the owners.
We stayed 7 idyllic nights, no noise, just peace and quiet and uninterrupted views of the Derbyshire countryside.
Eggs are available on request and they're so tasty, you can also have a look around the farm on request and watch calves being born which is lovely for children.
There is a local pub called the Sycamore and there's also the British Legion where they serve real ale.
Such a perfect place to stay, nothing is too much trouble for the owners, always a smile and a hello from them, not to mention the fact that they are as flexible as they can be with arriving and leaving times.
Can't wait to return to our favourite Derbyshire campsite.

Arrived to find field with lovely views and a marker cone with our name on our designated pitch.
Our hard standing was the furthest from the entrance and gave uninterrupted views across farmland towards the Tissington Trail.
The site is in a great position only a few minutes walk from the village which has a lovely pub as well as a children’s play area.
The Tissington Trail can easily be accessed back up and across the A515. Its just over two miles to the trail, approx 45 mins to walk (half that to cycle) following the road back up. Though it is uphill all the way to the A515 it’s a nice downward run if returning that way!
This means that you can easily cover the entire Tissington Trail and the High Peak Trail is also accessible.
Basic site with hook ups available, Water tap and toilet disposal point (we didn’t use toilet or shower mentioned in other reviews). Level pitches and stunning views. At £16 inc ehu we would definitely return
