Beautiful idyllic caravan site with lovely views, lots of local walks and lots of wildlife.
We stayed here whilst attending a wedding at the local distillery.
Rosemary gave us the most lovely welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. She went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay.
We would be delighted to return again.

The Clink is a 5 pitch site in a rural area near Auchtermuchty. It is up a narrow country road with no signs to make sure you go in the right direction!
As you approach the fork in the road there is a no through road to the right, take the road heading uphill to the left. Steep but OK for most vans.
This simple site offers EHU and water for a very reasonable fee. £12. 50 plus metered electric so less than £14 a night for us!
You have a gravel pitch but the grass area next to it and the surroundings are a bit unkempt. It's quiet with lovely views and forest walks on the doorstep.
The 'manager' is friendly and helpful.
The nearby village has a Co-op, an upmarket pub (Sun lunch is £17. 50) and a cafe.
Go a little further afield to the nice village of Falkland for a day trip, places to eat and the Palace and Gardens - worth a visit.

Lovely little site run by a very welcoming couple, Ken and Rose Marie.
The site has just been remodelled and the pitches have good views over the valley

We had a very enjoyable three-day stay. Ken and Rosemarie were easy-going, friendly and helpful.
The pitches have been relocated this year. There are five stony pitches with a rough grass patch beside each pitch. There is EHU and a water tap at each pitch and a chemical waste disposal point just beyond the furthest pitch. The pitches look out across farmland.
Other reviews have mentioned that there was no mobile phone signal. We did get one bar of 4G (on the EE network) at our pitch but it was intermittent. I managed to get signal a bit more often by putting my phone as high as possible inside the van — that helped quite a bit.
There were walks through the wood accessible right from the farm. There was a kestrel perching and hunting nearby, and we heard a tawny owl at night.
All-in-all, this site is excellent value for money.

Had a great weekend here as its so quiet at night with just the owls and distant roars from stags to listen to.
5 pitches that have been moved onto hard standing with good views over the fields from Pitch 4. Each pitch has electricity that you only pay for what you use, which for us as a couple and only running a fridge and maybe watching a DVD at night came to £1. 75 for the 2 nights we were there, brilliant.
Great value for money at £12. 50 a night for the pitch. Made to feel very welcome when there, and first night only 1 other camper in.
There is a lovely forest next to the site that has great walks through it and 30 minutes through the forest and down a quite country road takes you into the village.
There is not much in the village but there is a café that is in a converted barn just off the main road that looked nice. There is a co-op up in the main bit of the village that you wouldn't know is there unless you go a walk round.
We had dinner in The Boars Head, which is up in the main bit of the village. It is lovely inside and the food was good and made to feel very welcome.
We got a bus from the village to Cupar and spent the day there which was lovely and nice to walk round. (ask for a day ticket which is cheaper that a return ticket)
Went to the Golf Tavern which is a 5 min walk from the main street which had a great beer garden out the back to sit in the sun.
The stars where amazing at the site due to no light pollution and its how quiet it is, is one of the main draws. You think when you are climbing up the hill to it that you are going the wrong way, but follow the directions and you get there and its worth it for this basic, great value for money site that is a great base.
Will be back again soon for another weekend away

This is a minimal site with 5 pitches. They have recently moved the pitches so that each pitch has its own (very fast) supply of water and electricity.
Views over fields are good. Very quiet at night.
Friendly welcome from owners and (un-vaccinated) local resident.
Access to site is down a network of single track roads with passing places. At £12. 50 per night + electricity, good value.

Swimming pool, no. Fancy toilets and showers, absolutely no! Well stocked shop, no. Pub, no. Phone signal, no. Wi-fi, couldn't care less.
Lovely tranquil country setting, yes. Peace and quiet, yes. Wildlife, yes. Wonderful forest walks/biking on the doorstep, yes. Well maintained, yes.
Warm welcome, absolutely. Dog friendly, absolutely and they don't have to be kept on a lead in the safe enclosed area.
In years gone by this is what caravanning was about. £10 per night + electricity, yes!

Great little secluded site situated in behind a farmyard, surrounded by fields and forest. Owners were very helpful and accommodating.
5 hard standing pitches all with electric hookup (on a meter so you pay for electric on top of site fee).
Site was £10 per night. There is a drinking water point, toilet emptying point and a small toilet and shower on site as well.
The toilet and shower are quite dated but does the job - we didn’t use it as have the bathroom in the caravan.
Access is pretty easy off the main roads with only one right turn on to the farm but plenty of room to swing out to get round.
Gated access path from pitches up in to the forest.
