Stayed for three weeks and had a great time. This is a gem of a site and the owners Ken and Rosemarie are lovely. They like to make friends with their clients and nothing is too much trouble for them. The site is very central for all of Fife and near enough for Perth and Dundee.
Great walks through the adjoining woods and cycle tracks.
Nice hot shower, coin operated at £1.
Very quiet and relaxing site and great value for money at £9 per night.
Good facilities in the village, Small supermarket Sands at the Top end of the village very good, and The Cycle Inn is a good little pub with great food at very good prices, try the home made Steak Pie, yum yum.

For £9 we got all we needed - a roomy pitch with EHU, a dog walk in the woods, and a friendly owner who is happy to chat. You pay on departure. He is also Certified for doing habitation services. There's recycling, and you also put raw foodstuff in the compost bin and burnable stuff in the incinerator - almost nothing needs to go into the wheelie. The potwash isn't under cover, but everyone washes up in the van. Didn't use the shower - there's a poem telling you how to make it work. For motorhome owners, a visit to Bluebell to read her story is a must.
The only pity was that the sun went down behind the hill and off the pitch at 7. 30 - frustrating to be in the shade when all around was sunny until 9pm. A minor point, not enough to stop us (or anyone else, it seems) returning.
P. S. The sharp sloping bend in the road on approach has been cut back to allow a good swing round, and now poses no problems - the owner must have read the review below! The owner also warned us to ignore the satnav instructions at Abernethy, and obey instructions at Newburgh: they worked fine from that direction, but check when you book. Close by are Falkand Palace, Scone Palace, Elcho Castle, Lochleven Castle (you get there by boat) and good walking in the Lomond Hills Regional Park.

This is a really nice small basic site, the owners are exceptionally friendly and it is wonderful for dogs, there is path out of the site straight into the forest for dog walking. There is one toilet and shower in one room, but as this is such a small site that is perfectly adequate, the facilities were lovely and clean and my husband said that the shower was really good, it costs £1 for 5 minutes so you have to get on with your washing. The site is very environmentally friendly, with good recycling facilities (something we have found that many sites are lacking), and it was lovely and quiet at night.
The only negative is that access is quite tricky, our motorhome is about 22 ft. And the sharp sloping bend in the road on approach had to be taken very carefully, I wouldn't want to try and get in the site in anything bigger. Also, don't trust satnav to find the place, ours took us on a wild good chase before we used the good old fashioned map to find the site.

We stayed here for the February mid term school holiday planning on doing some walking with the kids.
Ken and Rosemarie the owners gave us a warm welcome and were always about for a chat or to help out with anything, nothing was too much bother. Bluebell, their old motorhome come tourist information office is well worth a visit, there's a lot of local information in there.
The site itself is in a beautiful location, almost joined to Pitmedden forest, so perfect for walkers or keen cyclists. It's part of the owners working farm, the kids thought it was great to be eating breakfast in the morning watching the sheep in the adjoining field being fed. Fresh eggs are always available and were a real treat.
The facilities are basic but the shower is lovely and hot. Pitches are really big, we have a 26ft caravan and felt like we were hardly taking up any space.
This site is in a good location for exploring Fife and Perth.
The kids loved it, we loved it and we can't wait to go back!

Visited 'The Clink' for the 1st time during January. Access from main Auchtermuchty - Newburgh road narrow but very easily negotiable.
Very warm welcome on arrival and plenty local info supplied regarding walks, nearby facilities etc. Site has everything one would need for a peaceful, quiet relaxing stay - hook-up, shower, toilet, fresh water and no 'boy-racers'! Lovely woodland walks.
Next time we stay we hope to have more time to walk into the village and maybe partake of some of the food and wine in the local Inn. Looking forward to it already.

Spent two nights here and it was so peaceful and relaxing. As previously mentioned there are only 5 pitches for caravans/motorhomes and two pitches for small tents. The owners Ken and Rosemary are very helpful and friendly. The site has some lovely surrounding walks. The small village of Auchtermuchty is only a 20 min walk away with a good pub.
The facilities are very basic but clean and this would certainly not put us off from returning.
If you are after a lovely quiet site this is the one for you.

We were at the Clink last weekend, only stayed one night but will definitely be back. Really nice and clean site with great walks on your doorstep.
The owners are motorhomers and are very friendly and helpful.
There are 5 hard standing pitches (2 with sky tv hook up)along with a couple of tent pitches and a BBQ area. There is a toilet and shower which although very basic was clean.
Take a look at Bluebell, the owners old motorhome which has been turned into the information 'room'

Just back from The Clink, It may be small but beautifully formed, if you like no frills and simplicity The clink is for you.
Its five electric hook up pitches are spacious, so you are not nose to nose with your neighbours. The surroundings are glorious, with hills on one side and forest on the other. A Mountain bikers or walkers dream. Facilities basic but adequate. We were made very welcome and most definitely will be back very soon

Very small site adjoining farm. Electric hookup for 5 pitches, and satellite hookup for two pitches. I am afraid there are no toilets or showers, there is chemical disposal and also drinking water but that's all. That's why it is only £8.00 per night.
The positives, very very quiet, and beautiful woodland walks on rolling hills start from the site. There is a village 5 minutes drive away if you need shopping, bar, meal, etc. The site is well fenced and I just let my dog nose about. The Couple who run the site are nice friendly and patient.
I was on a touring trip for four days and the night I spent there was one of the best sleeps I've had in years. If you like the quite life and have your toilet in the caravan this is for you!
