It was a lovely quiet site in a beautiful part of Wales, the Brecon Beacons.
Its got well kept fields for tents, campervans and caravans, with electric hookup if needed.
Clean showers and toilets which is a must. And the family who run the site and farm and really lovely and welcoming.

Over ten years ago, myself and friends used to visit this site yearly. So this was a bit of a nostalgia trip.
Great to see the site is still the same as it was, with a few added creature comforts like the shower and swings.
The owner is very friendly, and communication was excellent.

Firstly I have the right campsite! I booked for 14 nights and stayed another 3 in May 2022. Pre covid I did a lot of camping in Wales for up to 8 weeks a year, I had looked at this site before and decided it was time to get back into the camping game. I also enjoy mountain biking and this is an ideal situation for the best rides east and west of Brecon.
The people who run the site are very friendly, when I explained that my knees were high mileage and walking was an issue I was shown the pitches with electric hook-ups near the facilities even though I did not need one. The site is nice and level, sunny but sheltered. There is also a nice level camping field with plenty of space that is mown regularly.
There is a good view of the surrounding hills from the site. The facilities are new and kept nice and clean with hot water for washing hands. The washing-up area is good with a very large Belfast sink for big pots. The showers are a £1 for 8 minutes and there is very good free WIFI making the site it excellent value for money.
Brecon is only three miles away with a busy town centre with parking nearby. It has Morrisons and Aldi supermarkets, there is also a well-stocked bike shop and several outdoor retailers. There is a back road into Brecon which is ideal for cycling off the main road with a fantastic panoramic view of the Brecon Beacons.
The site is a working farm and they start early in the morning but this did not detract from the enjoyment of my stay. There is a major road nearby but I did not hear any noise.
There are seasonal caravanners who are friendly and it’s a quiet site.
One of the best sites I have stayed on in Wales, I can’t think of a better one, and will definitely go back.

A very quiet and well maintained camp site.
Not very far away from the A40.
We really enjoyed watching the kingfishers flying along the River Usk and the small fish jumping for flies.

Very nice site. Made welcome on our first day would return next year.
The site is clean, but could do with more shower and toilet facilities.
The location is good for near by shops in brecon.
There is a river on site where children can play safely.
