A wonderful weekend with friends (adults and children). Owners were very helpful and friendly. Pubs within walking distance.

A very quiet night with lots of stars and a lovely view. Thanks guys.

The only drawback is the field is on a slight slope so camper-vans will need blocks.

This is a site we'll hope to come back to, it's a real oasis of calm and away-from-it-all-ness, with friendly and helpful owners.

Definitely not a regimented site. I liked signs encouraging tree climbing but reminding you that it's at your own risk, along with the sign on the lane warning of Free Range Kids!

Facilities, (Loo and shower trailer), were being smartened up and upgraded when we visited, while still closed for Covid regulations, so can't comment on those.

A hard standing piece with EHU at the bottom of the field, then more slightly sloping fairly soft grass, with another flat area at the top. It's a nice little meadow with trees on three sides and a view across the valley on the fourth, likewise a view into the owners' orchard, which was in beautiful bloom. Still bluebells round the field too.

Utter peace, birdsong, and no digital signal of any sort to interrupt things.

We spent a very happy day in the Wye valley, and Tintern Abbey, luckily out of main season, so fairly quiet. Monmouth's not far, too.

Clear instructions were given on reaching there, which you do need.

Our caravan is short and narrow and was easy enough to tow in and out. I might have reservations about towing a long and wide van in & out - as Louise's own letter rightly said, "it's a bit tight".

I have a suspicion that the longer you stayed, the more the magic would grow. It definitely gave us a great start to our journey across Wales.

Beautiful location and very friendly owners. Loved our stay here and will be returning. We had a fire on both nights, went for lovely walks in woods and down by the River Wye.

With fabulous views, birdsong, bluebells, no traffic noise, a house down the lane who put out delicious homemade cakes for sale (!) and homemade pizza on Saturday night from the site owners.

There is nothing to criticism.

Next time I hope that restrictions will have been lifted allowing the facilities to be open.

A perfect site, small, peaceful, amazing views. Louise cooked us pizza in their new pizza oven on Saturday night, such a treat and a warm welcome. Very friendly hosts, lovely pizza.

We had to use our own facilities as Covid rules their facilities were not open, no problem. Has a fantastic fire in the fire pit.

Lots of walking, and a wonderful local 'shop' outside a neighbours gate with an honesty box, fresh eggs and fresh cakes baked daily!

Will definitely be returning. Lin

Lovely peaceful site in a glorious location.

Surrounded by stunning countryside with great walks in all directions.

Facilities are basic but clean with a good, hot shower.

Highly recommended.

Perfect site for a group camp. Logs and cider to pre order. Fire pit and picnic benches.

Clean toilet and shower facilities with plenty of hot water, hand sanitizer and soap.

Good recycling of rubbish. Fantastic scenery and walks on your doorstep. Very friendly and helpful owners.

Monmouth only 15 mins by car.

Would love to go again!

This is a lovely place where you go to sleep with the barn owls hooting in the trees above and wake up to a splendid view of hills and woodland.

Simple, clean and tidy under the friendly care of Rob and Louise. The campsite is next to an orchard a perfect place to relax and get away from urban noise. Peace and quiet.

There is a walk down to the river and a pub nearby. When you come back there are firepits to use, if you don't just do what we did - stargaze.

Stunning views from the campsite! Can spend the night star gazing. Wonderful owners of the campsite.

Fire pit for roasting marshmallows.

Plenty of sites close by, Tintern abbey is just a 17 minute drive.

What an idyllic campsite! We had an amazing Bank Holiday weekend camping in the quiet Orchard area. We had a resident robin, chickens visiting and owls hooting all around.

Lovely friendly hosts who gave us loads of local tips and really made sure we had a great stay.

Facilities scrupulously clean (important in these covid times). Quite basic but everything you need.

Lovely cycle to Tintern Abbey and next day a walk through the woods to the pub. The Lion Inn in Trelleck does great pub grub.

A roaring campfire and no mobile phone signal made it the perfect getaway. And great value!
