Every summer for the past 10 years My family and I have been going to Sandy Balls almost every year for the past 10 years, and we love it. It has something for everyone - swimming pools, amusements, adventure playgrounds, scenic walks, on-site supermarket, tourist information, eateries - you name it, Sandy Balls has it. The area is also great as there is lots of things to do - the New Forest and South Coast offer a world of treasures.
What do I like best about Sandy Balls? Hard to say, really. When I was younger it was the swimming pools, but now I would say I like everything. The atmosphere is great, and you don't want to leave. Overall, everytime I've been there I've had a relaxing holiday and had a great time, so I would definately recommend Sandy Balls.
We're never going anywhere else again. :)

March 2003 Do not recommend this site for tents, especially if you like the idea of 'woodland camping'! This area of the site is tiny and not at all woodland-like. Far too commercial for me, would not go back.

sept 02 We go to Sandy Balls at least once every year. The facilities cannot be beaten, hot showers electric hook up,big camping spaces. satalite TV. Gym, indoor and outdoor pools (indoor one is the warmest I have ever been in) wardens make sure everythink is spick and span and tour the site to check regularly. Toilets and showers excellent. Walks from the camp site onto open forest (just up the lane). Resteraunts, large shop on site gift shop. Go - You will love it.

September 2002 Sandy Balls is a great site. We are quite new to camping and this site had more than we could ever imagine. My little boy loved the activities and the adventure playgounds. Its was great to see him enjoy the freedom to roam on his own. The site shop was well stocked and not overly expensive. Plenty of choice for eating out if you cant be bothered to cook. The shower blocks were excellent, very clean, plenty of them and loads of hot water. Can't fault it and we can't wait to go back.

08 july 2002 We visited Sandy Balls as first time caravaners, despite relatively poor weather we were really impressed with not only the facilities but also the quality of them, everything is laid out and kept clean and tidy the staff are friendly and helpful, the pitch we had was set in an ideal location it was a peaceful and relaxed environment, the woodland walks were very nice and were set amongst idealic scenery. Overall i would certainly recommend this site to any one looking for peace and total relaxation. We are so pleased that we are going back for more later this year.

Aug bank hol. 2001 My family and I had an extended weekend here, if you like camping this isn't for you, if you want a cheap holiday then come here and have a good time. Can't fault the place except that if you want peace and quiet then give it a miss. The pools were lovely, great walks, lots to do. The river in the village was also nice to visit. Superb value for a family holiday. I would love to try out one of the log cabins next time.

I'm really glad we went to Sandy Balls one February Half term. It was lovely to stay in a caravan as we haven't stayed in a caravan before and it was too cold at that time of year to camp. Mummy and Daddy took me to the art classes every day and we used the pool each evening.
