Excellent location.
Perfect site for those who like to be left alone and simply enjoy the peace and quiet in this stunning location.
Perfect for dogs, Luna our 10 month labour could not get enough of the beach and swimming in the loch.
Can't wait until we go back in October.
Facilities may not suit everyone but perfect for us.

Beautiful location for birdwatching. The site area was clean and attractive. Toilets a long walk and not great. Bin area a mess.
Ok if you have your own facilities, as we did. Think twice if you have children and ned loos etc.

Unrivalled location at the head of stunning Loch na Keal (I’m sure most would pay a lot more per night for the view and position by the water alone);
No frills ie. shower, camper came hookups but given the position who cares;
Friendly owners who run a very informal campsite.

Secluded spot with great views of coast/ben more. Nice and quiet.
Basic amenities (toilet and sink, no shower) short walk away, with drinking water supply.
Very easy to find, and peaceful surroundings. Very good value for money.

With the increase in 'staycation' holidaying and boom in motorhome sales it might be difficult to find a place on Mull due to the relatively few sites available and the requirement to pre-book a place, so this site would deserve consideration.
When booking, the helpful lady stressed that it was a very basic site and so it is! Essentially it is a nice level grassed area at the end of Loch na Keal, sheltered by trees and with a brilliant view of the local wildlife on the shore & beyond.
Toilets are available a hundred yards down the road but this site is really only intended for 'own facilities' campers so for £5 pp, pn - brilliant!
(tip - unless you have masochistic tendencies avoid coming here via the B8073 - pretty in places but my least favorite road in Scotland to drive on, however a few miles along this road, Ulva ferry & island is well worth a visit)

It’s just a field, that’s the beauty of it. Basic. Simple. Just park and admire the scenery.
Watch out for the sea eagles. We didn’t see the otters unfortunately.
The loos are a short walk away, clean (and looked freshly painted). Just follow the white arrows from the site.
Fresh water is available via outside tap at the loos. Most relaxing site we’ve been on.
Booked via email with Fiona, paid cash to Mark on site, both friendly and helpful.

Great loch side location, with dark night skies and no noise, except for the birds. Feels wild - but there are basic, very clean, facilities just a short walk away.
Spacious grassed area which felt firm even after rain. I pre-booked but there were only 4 other units there, so not sure how necessary this was in early May.
Friendly owner, just calls round on an evening to collect fees - £5 pp, per night

A beautiful setting at the edge of the loch. Firm ground.
Toilet & water tap approx 300m away. No chemical disposal. Very much like wild camping.
Owner calls on an evening to collect payment. Lots of bird life including sea eagles.
Nice walks & cycling from site.

Best place we stayed! View over the loch is stunning and it is so quiet.
Very basic and not very flat but would definitely stay here again.
Have to walk a few hundred yards to the toilets but that wasn’t a problem.
